BitLife Siblings Guide: Tips & Tricks for Making the Best Life Experience with Siblings

As the fans and the love for Candywriter’s new mobile game BitLife – Life Simulator continues to grow, the game never ceases to amaze its many audiences with huge updates. Following the recent release of the game’s 1.8.1 version released just last December 18, the requests and suggestions of thousands of BitLife fans to include siblings in the game have finally been answered.

If you have yet to start your virtual life in BitLife, be sure to check out each of our extensive guides to know more about the game. As we have already covered several aspects of the game before, we will entirely be focusing on having siblings now and how having brothers and sisters can impact your virtual life. Below you can find our BitLife siblings guide, that comes tips, cheats and tricks for making the best life experience with your siblings.

There are already thousands of possible happenings in BitLife and the current update certainly brings more to add to the fun. Whether you want to purely live out a boring and timid life, or an adventurous one that involves decisions you probably won’t make in real life, or a more normal approach bordering somewhere between both extremes, you can basically have the life you want (or deserve) with each decision you make. With siblings, and possibly nephews and nieces to add to the mix, some of the more complex aspects of the game that involve luck and karma, seem to get a little more involved in your life with every decision you make. It will always be your choice on how to treat the bigger family you have now, but as you go along, you will most likely experience immediate outcomes of your actions.

1. Start A New Life To Find The Right Number Of Siblings You Want

As everything starts randomly in BitLife, it’s very possible to start the game without any siblings so if you want to have a brother or sister before you begin your game, feel free to tap the options button on the upper left of the screen and start a new life until you have an older brother or sister. It’s very typical as well to have only 1 brother or sister but if you play the game even for just a short while, you would be surprised as to how fast your family can grow. Though it would still depend on probabilities, there’s a big chance to have brothers or sisters close to your age so if you will be having younger siblings, they should start popping out between 2 to 4 in-game years.

There’s a slim chance of having a twin brother or sister but you may have to restart several times to make that happen. Having multiple siblings may not happen as often as having only one, but if you really want to fully experience a life farther from the ones before the update, then start a life with an older sibling and wait to have a younger one before you decide to continue to play.

2. You Can Choose To Do Nothing

Having a new baby brother or sister leaves you very few options to mold the kind of relationship you want to have with them. As you may not be able to do much yourself as an infant, options in BitLife grows along with you. As you and your siblings grow, you will initially find two options to choose from when interacting with your younger siblings and these are either assault them or spat with them. Unless you are a real toddler yourself or practically asking for negative repercussions and bad karma, you can pick either one and reduce both your and your sibling’s level of happiness. That won’t be the worst of it though, as any of these choices can lead to violent retaliations, injuries, or possibly even punishments from your parents.

As a third, and obviously positive option, you can choose to do nothing and wait for your siblings to grow up a bit more so you can then begin having conversations or spending some time with them.

It may seem boring to only spend time with and have conversations with your siblings but considering everything, it is the easiest way to go. You can always try to assault or engage in petty fights with them but it will quickly lead to you ending up with an empty level of happiness that would be hard to get out of. Almost as easily, you can have anxiety and depression which will also lead to having poor health. On top of all of this, doing bad things to your siblings may cause them to hurt you, and while there doesn’t seem to be any sort of permanent damage, it can be very difficult to recover from.

It seems as well that being a bad brother or sister can heavily impact your karma. There may be no easy way to prove it but one thing does easily lead to another in the game. You will probably experience a lot of bad luck after doing some bad things to your family. The events may not be entirely related to the person you hurt but some things tend to go wrong randomly when you are in bad terms with a lot of people whom you should be keeping a good relationship with.

3. Take Note Of Your Sibling’s Petulance Level

As each character in BitLife exhibits unique personalities and traits, expect the same uniqueness in the traits of your siblings. What you would want to pay a bit more attention to, however, is the level of petulance each of your siblings has. As green is always good, it means that a sibling with a high level of petulance will more likely tolerate your untoward behavior. Having siblings with red marks on their petulance bar may not hold back and can even do you harm if you trouble or argue with them.

Engaging in an argument or petty squabble with a sibling with a full petulance level over and over won’t risk you being hurt back by them. Sometimes, even assaulting them year after year still won’t push them to retaliate. On the other hand, siblings with an empty or an almost empty petulance level are ones you shouldn’t trifle with as you may enter into an argument with them and they will unleash their toned down Mortal Kombat fatalities on you, leaving you injured and be even at the lowest health level.

4. Bigger Families Boost Happiness Fast

One of the biggest advantages of having more siblings is that in cases of unfortunate events that leave you unhappy, you can easily gain back a lot of happiness just by spending time with each of them. This is boosted even more when your siblings begin to marry and give birth to several nephews and nieces. While keeping a good relationship with everyone in a huge family may take more time and effort, it can be especially rewarding as you will hardly worry about depression and anxiety even in the worst series of hardships that you experience in your virtual life.

5. A Better Way To Handle Bullies

Just like in real life, it can’t be helped that there will be instances in school life when you will encounter some bullies that make school life difficult for you. Previously, being bullied leaves you to choose to tell your teacher about it, do nothing, or take matters into your hands and put yourself at risk. If you have an older sibling though, you can tell them about the bullying incident and depending on the kind of relationship you have established with them, you can have the kind of results you have so much longed to witness. It could go to a bit more extreme than what you would wish for, though, so expect some surprise aftermaths.

6. Parents May Be Affected

Engaging in only positive activities with your siblings will lead to a much simpler life as they will serve to be a constant happiness booster for you themselves and even more once they bear their own children. Choosing to assault, fight, or even argue with them can lead to a lot of negative things and sometimes, your parents can get involved in it too. Simply telling your parents about it may lessen their level of happiness on top of a variety of possible actions they may do as an effect of their children’s squabbles. If you want a simple life with siblings that dwell on constant happiness and good karma, then stick with what you feel would be the positive actions and reactions. If you find humor in the bizarre after-effects of being the evil incarnate, then you can surely find your way to the worst life conditions by imposing detestable actions starting with your family.
