MARVEL Future Revolution certainly makes it a challenge for players to leave its world once they step in. To say that the massive, fully 3D open world is huge is an understatement as its vastness does not end with the area of its world map alone. MARVEL Future Revolution provides a complete MMORPG experience with an immersive single player story campaign, a host of cooperative multiplayer battles, and various competitive game modes that pits players against other players.
When it comes to mobile MMORPGs that are free-to-play, yet offers premium options for spending players, the general notion of having paid advantages often lead to dominance in every game mode, most especially in PvP battles. Additionally, newer and less experienced players in an MMORPG environment typically shy away from engaging in these game modes with a mindset that they will simply get crushed with every attempt.
MARVEL Future Revolution, however, does not leave less experienced players as well as free players that far behind and with a lot of time, dedication, and strategy, any player can excel in any game mode. Considering the variety of activities and challenges to engage in within the world of MARVEL Future Revolution, the classification of whether a content involves taking on enemy mobs and bosses or other players leads to a formulation of specific strategies and character builds for each type.
In every case, this means that each player’s single favorite character should be distinctly set up for either PvE or PvP game modes and while some heroes seem to specialize in either one, each one can be developed and set up to perform extraordinarily in either set of challenges.
If you have just started diving into the vast world of MARVEL Future Revolution and still finding your way around all the basic features and initial contents, we urge you to head over to our beginner’s guide and jumpstart your adventure.
We have play-tested each and every playable character and loved each of them, but despite close gaps between each one’s overall unique strengths and limitations, we still ranked them down in tiers as best we could. If you are inclined to find out more about what each hero can do and how we ranked them, check out our MARVEL Future Revolution tier list.
It is a given that each hero in MARVEL Future Revolution will perform differently in PvE and PvP challenges. That does not mean that any of them is incapable of dominating each game mode. For our recommendations relating to the best PvE builds for each superhero, we have compiled a comprehensive PvE build guide to help you discover what works for your favorite character. In this new guide, we will be focusing on the best builds we can come up with for each hero and help you yield the best results in PvP challenges.
Black Widow PvP Build
Black Widow may lag behind other heroes in most PvE challenges but she can certainly fend for herself in PvP matches. She is not as easy to use as other heroes as well but with some practice and the right set up, she can be very enjoyable to play as and very difficult to play against. She can be groomed to focus more on dealing damage, but for PvP, we prefer as many debuffs and control skills taking center stage more than DPS.

Captain America PvP Build
As the toughest hero in MARVEL Future Revolution’s current roster, Captain America can either be built as a brawler or as a full tank. As much as we enjoy playing defensively most of the time, we feel that a brawler set-up is best for Captain America especially for Galactic Duels. A good mix of defense augmentations along with bits of attack boost can go a long way given his arsenal of control skills to offer. There is a relatively more flexible way to build Captain America that works almost equally well, depending as well on the player’s play style.

Captain Marvel PvP Build
Captain Marvel’s raw damage outputs make her especially effective against stronger targets in a one-on-one battle. Her mix of skills vary in range but most can take a chunk of health off of her targets. While we prefer going all-out offense for Captain Marvel in PvE, turning it down a notch and investing a bit on survivability seems to be a better fit for PvP combat.

Doctor Strange PvP Build
Doctor Strange has powerful attacks that deal damage to multiple targets, making him a solid choice for almost any PvE challenge. His spells mostly take longer to take effect, making him vulnerable to attacks as well while he is attacking. While that is all fine in PvE combat, it will certainly become a huge setback against thinking players. Instead on banking on boosting raw damage, focus on Doctor Strange in PvP should be more on control effects using quick skills. Making investments to boost his survivability is advisable as well.
Skills And Masteries
Master of the Mystic Arts, Barrier Curse – deals low damage but high guard damage and snares the target for a few seconds.
Mirror Dimension, Dimensional Lockdown – quicker but deals low damage and banishes targets in the Mirror Dimension

Iron Man PvP Build
Iron Man’s arsenal lets him dish out a wide range of control skills and defensive measures as well. His damage outputs are average at best and takes him more time to complete challenges in PvE content than most heroes. In the PvP playing field, however, his range and versatility, mixed with a good balance of offensive strength and defensive capabilities can easily lead him to becoming a top PvP contender.
