Following the release of highly popular games, such as Dune!, Go Plane and Helix Jump to name a few, the company is back with a brand new game. Fire Balls 3D is the French developer’s latest release, and it is just as action-packed as their previous hits. Don’t let the simplicity of the one-tap controls fool you. This addicting iOS arcade game gives you the nearly impossible task of using a ball to knock of parts of a stacked tower, one at a time. The more you successfully remove from the tower, the higher your score will be. There are dozens of levels to conquer. The game starts out very simple, but the difficulty level ramps up pretty quickly. Soon, you will find yourself struggling to move forward by even a step. 1. Learn To Wait For The Barrier To Pass
As we mentioned earlier, Fire Balls 3D has a simple one-tap control system. Just tap on the screen to fire a ball. If you want to continuously fire balls, you can press and hold on the screen. The problem with doing that is you will not be able to adjust in case a barrier suddenly pops up. Since there are no lives in this game, hitting even one barrier will mean the end of your run. There is no time limit, so if you are not confident in your ability to stop in time, just patiently wait for the barrier to pass.
2. Watch Ads To Continue Your Run
If you are on a good run but you accidentally hit a barrier, don’t fret! The game will offer to let you continue where you left off in exchange for watching a video advertisement. What’s even better is that all you have to do is make it to the next level in order to become eligible for another continue offer. That means you have the chance to continue your run once per level. Of course, you need to make sure you are connected to the internet. Otherwise, the ad offer will not appear, and your run will simply end.
3. Use The Lightning Bolt Wisely
As you knock off blocks from the tower, your lightning bolt attack is charged up. A lightning icon will appear once it is ready for use. Instead of using it right away, check if you actually need it. Save it for when you are not confident that you will safely make it through the barriers. Using the lightning bolt will remove ten blocks from the tower. If you knock of those ten blocks during the easy part of the game, you might not be able to charge up the lightning attack again once there are more barriers in your way.
4. Aim For Higher Levels
You are probably wondering how other players are getting insanely high scores in the game when you get a few measly points for every block you knock off. The answer is in the higher levels. The number of points you get every time you hit a block increases in higher levels. For example, you get 25 points per block when you reach level 25. Imagine just how many points you can accumulate when you are playing at level 75! Just aim to make it to higher levels and racking up points will be a lot easier.
5. Save Up Those Coins
Coins are the regular currency in Fire Balls 3D. While there is no use for them right now, Voodoo is known for updating their in-game store some time after a game’s release. Soon, you will be able to spend those coins to buy skins for your ball. Of course, it is also possible that some of the balls can only be unlocked through completing tasks. Regardless, it is better if you save up those coins now, so you can go on a shopping spree once the store opens up.
