BitLife Jacksepticeye Challenge Guide: How to Complete the Jacksepticeye Challenge

Something big is heading to BitLife within the next few weeks or so, but while waiting for it, Candywriter is still keeping longtime players engaged with those weekly challenges for the popular life simulator game for iOS and Android. In case you haven’t played the game yet, challenges are limited-time events that require you to complete a series of tasks that are based on the week’s given theme. There doesn’t seem to be any fixed type of theme from week to week, but many challenges since the feature’s launch in late 2019 are tributes of sorts to various celebrities.

Over the two-plus years that Candywriter has been launching weekly challenges, the company has tipped its hat to a few notable YouTube content creators, including Tanya Bregar and Bijuu Mike. For this week’s challenge, Irish YouTuber Jacksepticeye is being honored, and it’s no surprise why — similar to Bijuu Mike, his channel is among those you can select if you choose to bond with a friend or family member by watching YouTube.

The challenge that bears his name is quite easy, if a little time-consuming, so if you’re hoping to complete it as quickly as possible without having to start a new life, redo your current one, or use the Time Machine to undo a mistake or two, be sure to keep reading this BitLife mini-strategy guide for some assistance on completing the Jacksepticeye Challenge.

Getting Started – Be An Irish Male With Good Looks, Be Very Careful When Posting Videos!

The first two requirements in the Jacksepticeye Challenge are the easiest, but by far the easiest of the two is the first one — be born a male in Ireland. You can emigrate later in the game if need be, but doing so won’t nullify the first requirement — after all, it doesn’t say “become a famous YouTuber while living in Ireland”! Apart from that, though, this is one of those challenges that are easier to complete if you have certain advantages, and by that we mean having Looks of 70-75 or greater and Smarts of at least 50.

Either set them up yourself if you have God Mode, or keep re-rolling until you get a character with such stats. You can improve both stats while still in school — playing sports and going to the gym increases Looks, and going to the library and reading books are two quick ways to boost your Smarts. And, once you turn 13, you can start going on social media, and that means setting up your YouTube account.

The second requirement in the Jacksepticeye Challenge is to post only gaming videos on YouTube. To clarify this, you can open accounts on other social media platforms and post any other type of content, but when it comes to your YouTube account, you should stick to gaming videos and nothing else.

That sounds easy, but it’s also very easy to accidentally choose another video type in the early parts of the challenge. Once you post about five or six straight gaming videos, BitLife will recognize that as your default, go-to update, so there will come a time where you no longer have to be extra careful about choosing Gaming before hitting the Make a Post button!

Enter A Celebrity Career Track If You Want More Followers In Less Time

Being famous in BitLife means more followers on social media, and that also helps you get verified sooner — successful verification on social media usually results in a 15 to 20 percent boost in Fame per platform. That’s where starting out with high Looks and average Smarts can come in handy, as we all know that’s an easy shortcut to getting a job as a singer or actor and thriving at it.

Alternately, you can focus on varsity sports in high school and in college (if you decide to attend) and try to get drafted or signed by your league of choice so that you can become a famous athlete. If your Looks and/or Smarts aren’t that high but your Athleticism is good enough to help you make the team in high school, then by all means, keep practicing harder to increase your chances of getting drafted or signed!

As we’ll be explaining in a later tip, you may be well into your 40s once you get enough followers to complete the final requirement, but that seems perfectly normal when trying to complete the Jacksepticeye Challenge.

Going Viral Still Requires A Lot Of Luck, And It Won’t Lead To Instant Fame

Unfortunately, after multiple small updates here and there, we have yet to find out whether there’s some sort of can’t-miss formula to going viral on social media sooner rather than later. In other words, this is still very much a luck-based endeavor, so you’ll need to be very patient, and maybe do some quitting and restarting if you aren’t getting the results you’re expecting right away.

Overall, we would say there’s a 5 to 10 percent chance that a video posted will go viral, and the chances of that happening may be higher or lower depending on the type of update you’re sharing.

Fortunately, it seems that gaming videos are the type of update that could gradually help you boost your follower count, and their chances of going viral seem to be very much in the 5 to 10 percent range — that means about 10 to 20 videos before you finally get lucky. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t get that viral hit within your first couple of years on social media, and since we cannot stress this enough, make sure you’re solely sticking to gaming videos on YouTube!

Also, it seems that the chances of going viral go up after your first viral video, so you do have the option to not stop after just one viral clip and aim for another one or two of those videos in order to become internet-famous in the BitLife universe.

Keep Grinding Until You Hit The 10M Mark

While it is definitely possible to reach 10 million YouTube followers in BitLife by being a famous influencer, being a famous athlete, actor, or musician gets the job done faster, as we noted above. However, we should also stress that just because it’s faster doesn’t mean you’ll reach the 10 million mark quickly. In fact, we had to wait until our test character reached the age of 49 before he finally reached the milestone.

In other words, you’ll need to do your fair share of grinding in order to get 10 million followers. That would mean posting anywhere from 3 to 5 videos per year before hitting the Age button, cutting commercials and doing photoshoots to keep your Fame as close to 100 percent as possible, and maybe even promoting a few products through your YouTube channel. Make sure to choose wisely if and when promoting products — nothing too unglamorous or unsexy, and focus on fashion items as much as possible!

It may take some time, but just as long as you’re famous, you will eventually reach 10 million, thus completing the Jacksepticeye challenge and allowing you to do the usual by picking a new hat or eyewear from one of the four prize chests.
