When the world is overrun by zombies, wouldn’t it be nice if all the survivors were pretty anime girls? Zgirls 2 is a zombie-themed MMORPG created by ELEX for mobile devices. While there are probably a dozen other games in the same genre, this game sets itself apart with its crisp 3D graphics and beautifully designed anime-style avatars. If you are going to face off against zombies until the end of days, you may as well be pretty, right? The goal is simple. You just need to survive for as long as you can. Accomplishing that goal is not as simple, though. There are more threats to your life than just zombies. There is also the matter of finding food and water in order to survive. 1. Follow Te Quests
The game drops you off in the middle of nowhere with very little guidance on how to proceed. When you check on the top left corner of the screen, however, you will see your quests. These mostly involve basic tasks that will walk you through how the game is played. Make sure you pay attention and complete the quests as soon as possible. The sooner you figure out how to play the game, the higher your chances of survival will be. Once you have a good grasp of the gameplay, you are free to ignore the quests to do your own thing.
2. Prepare For Life After Death
If you don’t have enough food or water, you will die. If you get bitten by zombies too many times, you will die. If you encounter another player who has better equipment, you will most likely die. There is no escaping death in this game. The good news is that you don’t really have to. All you need to do is prepare well, so you can easily continue after you respawn. Build a shelter and a few storages. Fill up your storage boxes with supplies. When you die, the items you have equipped will disappear, but the ones in your storages will not. That means you will be able to continue as though nothing happened if you managed to prepare well. Just make sure your shelter is well-stocked with weapons, armor, backpacks, and other supplies.
3. Use The Auto-Farm Feature Wisely
Zgirls 2 has a handy feature called auto-play. Just tap on the auto button in the corner of the screen and your character will automatically loot and pillage on your behalf. The only problem you will encounter with this is when your backpack fills up. Make sure you still check on your character from time to time, so you can empty out your backpack whenever it is full. Otherwise, your character will just sit there doing nothing until a hungry zombie comes along.
4. Save Your Energy
If you want to move to a different location quickly, you will need to spend energy. The alternative is to wait 18 minutes or more in order to reach your destination. When you choose the no-energy option, you can just log off from the game and return before the timer is up. There are times, however, when you really need to reach a location quickly. For example, if you need to make an urgent supply run, you cannot afford to sit around for half an hour waiting for travel to complete. Saving your energy for those moments will help save you a lot of grief.
5. Loot Other Players
Did we mention you can attack other players? When you are out on a supply run, you will probably encounter other players. If they look like they are well armed, you may want to run in the opposite direction. If you are confident that you can take them on, however, feel free to kill them off. Once they are dead, they will drop all their supplies, including weapons, clothes, and other items. Grab everything you can from their dead bodies then stuff all the loot into your storages. You may not need them now, but you will when it is your turn to die.
