Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade Cheats, Tips & Guide to Defeat Your Enemies

Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade is finally here – which is the latest installment in the Warhammer 40,000 series, and this iOS-only title allows you to take command of a Warhammer 40,000 Imperial Knight in what’s said to be the most action-packed game of its kind. You play the role of a young Imperial knight who joins up with the Dark Angels Space Marines chapter, thus becoming a Freeblade and taking out endless waves of invaders in more than 40 single-player campaign missions. With just one tap, you can fire cannons, missiles, and thermal blasts, and when it comes to the look and feel of your Freeblade, you’re given an unbelievable range of customization options. As this is a new game, expect more updates going forward, such as legendary weapons, armor, and liveries.

This game isn’t all tap-to-shoot simplicity, as the other features do suggest that this is quite a complex title and one that may take some time to learn. But it doesn’t have to be a whole lot of time, as we now have a list of Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade tips and tricks for the first-timer.

1. Pay Attention To Your Freeblade’s Structural Integrity

This is the first stat you want to look at when the going starts to get tough, and just to give you advance warning, the going can get very tough very fast. As you play more rounds, structural integrity will go down, and that’s going to affect you on both ends, namely on attack and on defense. You can repair your Freeblade to get structural integrity back to where it should be; watch the icon on the top left as it goes from green to red, and if you notice that it’s on the yellow-orange side of things, then some repairs definitely have to be done. Tap on the icon and you can spend gold or watch an ad to do the necessary repairs.

2. About Ore And What It Can Do For You

Aside from allowing you to repair your Freeblade, ad videos can also help you earn free ore in this game. Hit on Forge in your loadout screen, then hit on Upgrade, and you’ll be able to use your ore to power up your equipment, may it be unequipped or equipped. Depending on the piece of equipment and how rare it is, you may have less or more power-ups than usual.

3. Watch Ad Videos Before Tough Rounds

Ad videos serve a third important purpose in Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade, and that’s to add boosts ahead of a particularly difficult round. If you notice that the round seems like quite a challenging one for you, you can watch videos and check what boosts you’ll be given in return; these may be mere XP boosts, but then again, they could make your Freeblade better across the board throughout the whole battle.

4. Replay Previously Completed Levels

This is a common tip, but since not all games allow “grinding” as a means of farming for EXP and ore, we should mention it here. Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade is one of those games that allow you to farm for EXP and ore that way, so always revisit levels you’ve completed so you can grind it out for those resources (and equipment), while improving your Freeblade’s stats.
