Toon Blast Tips, Cheats & Tricks to Complete More Levels

1. Hold On To Those Boosters

Boosters have different effects that can help you clear a board, all of which are extremely useful. Unfortunately, they are a bit difficult to acquire in the game. You only get a couple once in a while when you open a Toon Chest or a Star Chest. That is why you should avoid using these boosters unless it is really necessary. If you are one or two moves away from completing a level that has you completely stumped, then go ahead and use that booster. Otherwise, just start the level over and see if you have better luck the second time around.

2. Rush To Level 15

Once you reach level 15, you will unlock the Star Chest. The Star Chest will be unlocked every time you accumulate a total of 20 stars. Any star you earned prior to level 15, however, will not go towards unlocking your first star chest. That means any effort you put into getting earlier stars will be wasted. Just focus on getting the Star Chest before you aim for getting three stars in each level to make sure you get the most out of each star.

3. Join A Team Or Create Your Own

When you conquer level 20, you will be able to join a team. You can join an existing one or create your own. Creating your own team costs a lot of coins and there won’t be any guarantees that you will get teammates right away so it might be better to join an existing one to avoid wasting precious coins. Joining a team will connect you with other players who can give you extra lives when you run out. It’s a good way to continue playing without having to wait for too long. Make sure you play fair and take time to hand out extra lives to your teammates who are also in need. You can also compete against other players alongside your teammates so that’s an added teamplay component of the game.

4. Set Up Big Combos

Before you start matching up blocks, make sure you analyze the board first. See if there are smaller clusters that will end up grouped together if you clear a few blocks. Instead of just randomly matching a bunch of three-block combinations, try to set up more blocks that you can combine. Remember, the more blocks you combine at once, the better. You will get a special block every time you combine four or more so try to aim for those whenever you have the chance. Always be on the lookout for the best combo you can set up before making any move.

5. Clear More With Rockets And Disco Balls

As mentioned above, combining more tiles will help you clear the board faster. When you combine five blocks of the same color, you will create a Rocket that clears an entire line of blocks. Combine six blocks and you will create a Bomb that clears a 3×3 area around itself. Combining 9 or more creates an awesome Disco Ball that deletes all the instances of a specific color. Use these special pieces strategically in order to solve puzzles quickly.

6. Combine Special Pieces

This is a bit harder to pull off but is definitely worth the effort. When you create special pieces like Rockets and Bombs, see if you can also have them right next to each other. Doing this will allow you to combine the special pieces for an even better effect. Combining two Rockets will allow you to delete two lines at once. Two Bombs will create a bigger explosion. Two Disco Balls will obliterate the entire board! You can also combine special pieces even if they are not the same type. Try out all the possible combinations to see how they can help you solve those puzzles.

7. Trick The Game For More Lives

Toon Blast is highly addicting so it’s only a matter of time before you run out of lives. While you can ask for extra lives from your teammates, they can only give you so much before you run out again. You can do it the boring way and wait for a couple of hours to pass in order for your lives to regenerate. Or you can trick the game in to thinking enough time has passed so you can get the lives quicker. All you have to do is go to the date and time settings of your phone. Move the time forward a few hours and return to your game. You will see that your lives have been replenished. You can do this as often as you want so you won’t ever have to wait in order to play. Just make sure you correct the time on your phone when you’re done playing or you might end up getting confused!

8. Buy More Boosters

If you missed out on our first tip and ended up using all your boosters, you always have the option to buy more. Of course, you should still use these wisely even if you end up purchasing them or you will burn a hole through your wallet. Decide beforehand whether your goal is to get more stars or to just to get through as many levels as you can. Just going through the levels shouldn’t require too many boosters since you can just keep trying until you succeed. If you’re after getting maximum stars in each level, however, you might need to spend more boosters. There will be a lot of times when you need just one small push to get that last star so it’s better to spend the booster than start over.
