1. Learn How To Sail
Since the game tries to give you a more realistic experience, sailing can get a bit tricky. You need to consider the wind direction and speed in relation to your ship as indicated by the three arrows around your ship. If you try to go against the wind direction, you will have a hard time moving. A red cone will indicate that it is impossible to move forward in a certain direction if you try to go in the opposite direction of the wind. The only way around it is to move with the wind in order to gain momentum then quickly maneuver towards the opposite direction. You will have to do this repeatedly until you get to where you want to go so it will take some time. Make sure you speed up the game time to make the entire process a little more bearable.
2. Raise The Right Flag
One trick you can do to keep an enemy ship from attacking you until you get in range is to use the same flag as they do. This will trick them into thinking you are from the same country, allowing you to approach safely. Once you are within range, you can launch a surprise attack, making it easier for you to overpower the enemy ship. Keep in mind, however, that after you use this tactic, you will be marked as a pirate and future enemies will be able to see through your trick. It will take a while before you can try that trick again.
3. Try The Economy Game
Another cool feature of this game is how dynamic the market is. You can be a professional trader by buying items where they are cheap then travelling to another city that will buy your goods at a higher price. Of course, you need to find out where to go for what before you can start trading. When you are in a city, drop by the local tavern and buy everyone a round of drinks. This will make them chatty and give you hints on where to buy and sell.
Don’t forget that you can also use the items you buy for your own ship. If you have the right captain with you, you can use any of the commodity items to boost your performance. For example, you can use Rum to improve your ship’s speed by 10%.
4. How To Win Battles
When fighting with an enemy ship, make sure you keep moving. It will be more difficult for your opponent to hit a moving target. Don’t forget to rotate the camera so you can keep your enemy within your line of sight. Try to position yourself in such a way that your target is right at the end of your targeting cone to prevent your shots from flying right over the enemy ship. Lastly, use the active skills of your captains strategically. For example, if you want to get rid of a ship that’s tailing you, use Edward Teach’s active skill that drops explosive barrels behind your ship.

I just hope that they add some ai pirate and they have geng for war or as an pirate allies and i also want a bigger map.
