The game Smashy Road: Wanted is not from the same company that gave you Crossy Road. Instead, it is one of many companies that have followed the trend of unorthodox adjective ending in “y” + noun when titling their games, e.g. Flappy Bird, Crossy Road, even Wrecky Ball. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t a bit of Crossy Road in this game; in fact, it’s a cross between that game and titles wherein you have to drive away to evade the police. You can even compare it to Grand Theft Auto in its infancy, way before Carl Johnson, Tommy Vercetti, and Franklin/Trevor/Michael all became household names for gamers.
For this installment of Smashy Road: Wanted tips and tricks, we’ll be talking about ways you can earn as much free cash as possible, thus having more money for more cars.
1. Earn Cash While Driving
You can earn cash while you’re driving, but as we pointed out in another Smashy Road: Wanted tips and tricks article, this can be very slow. We also did say in there that you can use the Money Man Truck when racing, so you can earn five times the amount of cash you’d normally receive. However, this is a Legendary vehicle, so don’t expect to unlock this ride right away.
2. Run The Time Lapse After Dying
After you get killed and receive a gift, you can exit the game and set the time on your device five hours forward so you can get another gift. Keep on doing this as much as you want, and earn all the cash you want through these free gifts. But remember that setting the time back to normal means you’ll have to wait till the last date/time you set your device to. So, if you ultimately ended up setting the time three days forward by spamming the above cheat, you’ll have to wait three days before you receive your next free gift.
3. Another Take On The Time Lapse
More and more games are penalizing players for time-lapsing with the above caveat – it’s a reality we all have to face. But there’s a bit of a workaround that also involves tinkering with the time. Delete Smashy Road: Wanted, set the time back significantly, and reinstall the game. Repeat the above time lapse spamming until you get to the current date and time, and you’ll be able to earn free money without having to wait several days before the rewards become available again.
4. Watch Ad Videos
Ad videos, as we told you last time, will allow you to earn money for free if you watch them frequently enough. With that said, play the game with the Internet connection turned on (you also end up helping the developers this way, might we add), and once you die, you’ll be asked to watch an ad. This will happen every four or five times on average regardless of how many points you scored. Doing this often enough could earn you lots of free cash per day, but the game does run out of ads to display at times.
