Pepi Hospital is the latest addition to Pepi Play’s popular simulation series. Available on Android and iOS platforms, Pepi Hospital allows you to manage your own hospital. Explore the different areas of the hospital, from the Emergency Room up to the Nursery. Meet the different characters including medical staff, patients, as well as regular visitors. Diagnose the patients using different tools such as the X-Ray machine, ultrasound, blood tests, and even an MRI. Once you know their illness, you can give them medicine or cure them through surgery. When you are done with the day’s work, you can start winding down at the hospital café. Order some pastries and fill up your own cup with coffee. Do your rounds and visit the patients around the hospital to interact with them. There are so many things to do here, so make sure you read our exclusive Pepi Hospital guide, full of tips and tricks to get the most out of the game!
1. Read The Grownup Stuff
When you are on the main screen, you will see a button that says Grownup Stuff at the top left corner. If you tap on it, you will be given an arithmetic question to answer. This is used to determine whether or not the person tapping on it is a child. After answering the question, you will be able to access the game’s guide. This is full of useful information that can help you better understand how the different things work in the game. Make sure you take time to read it as it can help you out a lot in game.
2. Unlock All The Floors
At the start of the game, you will only have access to the second floor. You will be able to meet the dentist, the pharmacist, and the general physician. You will also be able to play around with all the items on this floor. Unfortunately, there aren’t any real patients on this floor, so you will not have a lot of things to do here until you access the other floors.
To unlock the other floors, just go back to the main view of the hospital and tap on any of the lock icons. Doing so will bring up three options. You can pay to unlock a single floor or all the floors through in-app purchase. Of course, there is also a free option. You can watch a short advertisement in order to unlock all the floors for half an hour. This is plenty of time to explore everything, so take advantage of it if you want to check everything out before purchasing the full game.
3. Clean Up The Mess
Aside from meeting patients, managing the hospital also involves keeping things clean. You will notice dirty splashes all over the hospital, and you are probably wondering how you can get rid of them. On the ground floor, you will find a bucket with a sponge in it. Tap and drag the sponge to where the dirty splashes are in order to clean them up. You can put the bucket inside the elevator, so you can use it to clean up the other floors.
4. Check The Ground Floor
The ground floor is where you can find the reception and the ambulance. Make sure you check tap on the ambulance door to open it and see the patient inside. You can transfer the patient to the nearby gurney or wheel chair for easier transport. You can then take the patient to the elevator, so you can send them to the correct floor for treatment. Don’t forget to drop by the reception to pick up any additional patients who are waiting in the lobby. You can stuff multiple patients into the elevator, so you won’t have to make multiple trips to the ground floor.
5. Experiment With Items
Almost all the things you can see in the game can be interacted with. You can pick up all the objects, including magazines, cellphones, fruits, and practically anything else you can find on the shelves. Play around with the different items to see what you can do with them. For example, any food item you can find can be fed to any of the characters. Just drag them over to the mouth of the person you want to feed. If you find bottled drinks, you can pour the contents directly into a character’s mouth, or you can transfer it into a glass before handing it to someone.
You can also make the characters interact with the objects. Drag the items to the hand of any character to make them hold it. Handing a phone to any character will make them talk on it. You can also drag any of the clothes around the hospital on top of a character to make him wear it. Switch up the outfits of the characters as you see fit.
6. There’s More Than One Cure
When you see a patient, there are multiple clues that will tell you what they need. Patients with broken bones will have red bumps. A character with a cold will have a runny nose. On top of the visual clues, you will also see a bubble hint above the character when you tap on him. The speech bubble will tell you what you need to do to cure him.
What you should know, however, is that there is more than one way to cure a patient. They will sometimes tell you this. For example, the guy with the cold will have a pill icon as well as a spray. You can use either one to cure him. For other patients, the alternatives might not appear in the speech bubble. The guy with a broken leg can be cured with a bandage based on his speech bubble. Aside from the bandage, though, you can also give him a crutch. The same is true for the girl with a broken arm. You can give her a cast instead of a bandage and it will work just fine.
7. Use The Pepi Bot
The Pepi Bot is a new character in the Pepi series. He is initially found on the ground floor, but you can take him with you. There are buttons located on his torso. Tap on them to cycle through the different functions of the Pepi Bot. He can provide medical assistance, clean up messes with a vacuum, and even provide extra clothes for characters. Have him follow you around so you will have quick access to different tools at your disposal.
8. How To Reset Everything
After playing for a while, you will probably have a bunch of items lying around the hospital. It can get pretty messy, especially if you like playing around with the different objects. If you want to reset everything in the hospital, you can do so by returning to the main screen. At the top right part of the screen, you will see a red button with two arrows going around. Tap on it to reset everything, so you can play around in a fresh hospital again.
9. Add More Characters
Aside from the people who are already in the hospital, you can come up with new stories by adding characters. You can do this by tapping on the yellow button at the bottom left corner of the screen. This will bring up a menu full of characters that you can drag to any location. You can also store characters from the hospital this way, allowing you to manage the number of people in each scene.
Who knew that running a hospital could be so much fun? Just remember all of the Pepi Hospital tips and tricks listed above, and treating patients will be a breeze!
