Nexon’s gacha RPG called Overhit has been around for a couple of years, but it has been exclusive to South Korea and Japan for the longest time. The game achieved highly positive reviews from both countries with its beautifully designed characters and full 3D stages. Overhit is finally being launched worldwide as pre-registration begins for Android and iOS devices.
The game is powered by Unreal Engine 4, so players can experience console-quality graphics anywhere they go. Critics have hailed it as a visual masterpiece, with the numerous characters fully rendered in 3D. There are over 120 characters to collect, all of them voiced by famous voice actors from various anime like Aya Uchida from Love Live! and Toshiyuki Morikawa from Naruto.
Overhit delivers several RPG staples in terms of gameplay, including dungeon crawling, guild wars, boss raids, PVP battles, and more. The game also utilizes an intuitive battle system that combines fast-paced decision making with turn-based strategy. Players will need to choose the perfect combination of characters in order to come up with the most powerful team possible.
Pre-registration is available through Google Play and through the game’s official website. Those who sign up early will receive and exclusive SSR grade character upon launch. Additional rewards will also be made available depending on the milestones reached during pre-registration. If the number of sign ups reach the 1 million mark, everyone who registered will receive 300,000 Arn, 230 D-Gems, and 5 Gacha Tickets on top of the special character.
As of this writing, there is no way to pre-register through the App Store. Players who will be using their iOS devices will have to pre-register through the official website by providing their email address. Those who pre-register will receive a notification once the game is officially launched.
