Not long ago, Wizards of the Coast and Netmarble announced the release of Magic: ManaStrike on iOS and Android platforms. Free to play, Magic: ManaStrike is a PvP real-time strategy game that features spells based on Magic: The Gathering’s characters and cards. Though the game resembles Clash Royale, it comes with its own Magic: The Gathering flavour., all in full 3D.
In Magic: ManaStrike, players are expected to make a contract with the biggest and most powerful villain in the universe: Nicol Bolas. After losing the war with the Planeswalkers, Nicol Bolas decides to create a parallel universe and focus on finding the Planeswalkers’ weaknesses. The role of the players is to provide Nicol Bolas with combat data by controlling units and Planeswalkers in his universe.
