A good mystery enthusiast is always in search of clues. In Nordcurrent’s brand new adventure game called Murder in the Alps you will need to be exceptional at spotting clues if you want to solve the ultimate mystery. This hidden object game for Android and iOS is unlike any other. The game is set in a hotel in the 1930s where one of the guests has suddenly gone missing. You will play as Anna Myers, a journalist with a nose for mystery. You take it upon yourself to solve the mystery of the missing guest, but strange things start happening.
The story unfolds as you progress in the game, and the plot gets more complicated as you uncover more information. There are ten suspects, and you will have to decide who the guilty one is. 1. Look For Something Shiny
The game lets you explore different locations, but you will mostly be following the narration of the story. If you reach a point where you are unsure of what to do next, just look around for something shiny. Tapping on a shining object will usually trigger a hidden object game. You will then be given a list of items to find on the screen. Find them all in order to proceed with the story.
2. Not Everything Is In Sight
If you have played other hidden object games, you might be expecting all the items to just be on the screen, only with different orientations and sizes. That is not the case in this game. Since it simulates an investigation, you will have to do some digging. Some items on your list will be hidden inside or behind other items. These items could be inside cabinets, hidden in compartments, or just standing behind another item. Make sure you look into everything that could possibly be a container or a cover in order to find all the things you need.
3. Mini Games Are Optional
Aside from the main hidden object mechanic, the game also gives you a few mini games to play on the side. For example, you can play solitaire in the hotel lobby early in the game. You can play as much of it as you want, but it does not really contribute to solving any mystery. If you don’t care for solitaire, feel free to skip it and just move on with the story. A skip button will appear after a few seconds, so just tap on it and proceed with the main gameplay.
4. Use Hints To Keep Progressing
Since the game does not have any form of currency, using hints is free. After using a hint, you will have to wait for some time before you get another one, so don’t assume the game will be easy just because the hints are free. You can use hints in both the exploration part and the hidden object stages of the game. Try to hold off on using hints until you actually need it since you don’t want to spend too much time waiting for the next hint to become available.
5. Check The Map
The map will show you all the locations that you can go to as well as those that you have already searched. You will also see your current location. Tapping on a building in a different area will show you all the floors of that building. You will be able to see all the rooms that can be explored this way. If you are stuck in the story, try checking the map for other places you can visit. The answer may be in a different location.

I am playing the dada version of murder in the alps. I am in the hospital and she wants to take a picture but I do not know how to do it. I have tapped all over and nothing. What do I do to get pass this spot?
