Your goal is to make a whole lot of money and discover all the rare gems. Free gems pop up once in a while, but you can also purchase more from the store. 1. Keep Those Boxes Coming
At the bottom of the screen, you will notice a box button. Tapping on it repeatedly will make boxes appear. The faster you tap, the quicker the boxes will arrive. Tapping on a box will open it and reveal a gem inside. You need to keep the boxes coming in order to fill up the board with gems. Just tap as fast as you can on the box button. Don’t forget to open up the boxes that arrive, though. Don’t worry. You can use multiple fingers, so you can open boxes while tapping the box button at the same time.
2. Complete The Achievements
When you check the blue-ribbon icon at the bottom left of the screen, you will see the list of Achievements in the game. Achievements are milestones you reach within the game such as opening a certain number of boxes, tapping, buying a number of gems, discovering gems, and so on. Whenever you complete one, you will see a pop-up notification. Make sure you tap on it in order to claim your Achievement reward. The more Achievements you complete, the more money you make.
3. Use The Power Of Ads
There are several benefits that you can gain from watching ads in Merge Gems! The first one is the 2X video offer, and it doubles your earnings for two hours. Another offer pops up whenever you open a mystery box. You can upgrade the rewards you receive from the box by watching another ad. You can do the same for timed prize boxes as well. Finally, you can also double the speed of crate drops in moon land by watching more ads. Keep in mind, however, that none of the ad offers will be available if you are offline. Make sure you have stable internet connection while playing in order to get the most out of these ad offers.
4. Unlock Moon Land
Moon land is another location that you can unlock upon reaching level 8 in gem land. It has its own set of gems as well as its own currency. The mechanics are the same but your earnings from the two lands are independent from each other. You can switch between the two lands at any time, without negative consequences. The land you leave behind will continue to earn on its own, so you will have more money to return to later on. Unlock moon land as soon as you can in order to keep the challenge up in the game.
5. Look For Sparkles
Some of the tiles will sparkle once you have unlocked moon land. These are bonus tiles that double the earnings of the gems placed on them. Make sure you drag your highest-earning moon gems into the sparkling tiles as soon as you spot them. This will help boost your income per second, especially if you have multiple rare gems placed in the sparkling tiles.
