Kung Fu Panda: Battle of Destiny Tips, Tricks & Guide to Dominate Your Opponents

Card battlers are slowly becoming quite the rage. Complicated as they may be, they do offer addictive fun and challenging mechanics that appeal to many mobile gamers. And when you’ve got a card battler based on a popular franchise, chances are said franchise’s popularity is also going to carry over. That’s what we can see from Ludia’s Kung Fu Panda: Battle of Destiny. This is an “ancient card battle game” where you can face other human players, or practice your skills against the AI-controlled Practice Dummy. You can play as your favorite characters in the Kung Fu Panda series, collect and create cards to build up your deck, transform cards into more powerful ones, and climb the overall ranks to win more cards and other rewards.

If one would compare this game to others in its genre, it may probably be most similar to Hearthstone, as there is a particular focus on the social aspect, meaning competition against other human players. But how can you beat more of these real, live, breathing opponents? We’ll help you get started with that, as we’ve got some pretty cool Kung Fu Panda: Battle of Destiny tips and tricks for you below.

1. Keep On Experimenting With Multiple Decks

The game will start you off with a good number of cards, giving you myriad options for deck-building. But which deck would be the best for you? It all depends – in these games, it’s mostly about trial and error, experimenting by making multiple decks. We recommend making at least one per unlocked hero, or maybe even two or more for any given hero in the game.

2. Attack And Health Aren’t The Only Kinds Of Stats Out There

Typically, players look at attack and health stats when evaluating their cards. You will, however, need to be concerned about more than just that. You also want to check these cards’ secondary skills and characteristics; just because they’re secondary doesn’t mean you should ignore them! Remember that the right kind of secondary characteristics could be game-changing, allowing you to have a more powerful deck overall. You’re really going to need that, especially when up against tougher competition.

3. You Can Practice Against The AI

In a game so concerned about the human vs human element, Kung Fu Panda: Battle of Destiny does allow you to practice against the computer AI by choosing “sparring partner.” This is a great way to hone your skills, as Ludia itself suggests. And while it could eventually become boring to “spar” against the AI all the time, Ludia should be soon rolling out an update that allows players to spar against random human opponents. Now that should be fun!

4. Think Twice Before Adding New Cards

If you get a new card or a new pack, you’ll first want to take a look at your existing decks to see if you can replace old cards with newer ones. Consider the effect the new card can have as opposed to the old one you’re planning to replace; if there’s no improvement or if the effect of the new card turns out to be negative after all, you really are better off with the same old deck you had.

5. How To Earn More Gold

It’s as simple as following the quests. Go to the quests area to see what you should accomplish in order to complete them, then get down to business by completing these quests individually. You’ll typically earn gold as a reward, and that could really add up over time. And once you’ve got enough gold, you can buy more decks at the store, at 200 coins a pop.
