HBO has teamed up with Behaviour Interactive and Beijing Gaea Interactive Entertainment in order to give Game of Thrones fans a shiny new mobile game. The upcoming mobile game called Game of Thrones: Beyond the Wall is now available for pre-registration on iOS and Android platforms.
Game of Thrones: Beyond the Wall is a strategy RPG that takes place several decades before the events of the TV series. It follows the story of Commander Brynden Rivers, also known as the Bloodraven. The game explores the reason behind his eventual disappearance.
Players will take on the role of the new Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch. Fans of the series will know that the job entails defending the Wall from enemies, namely the Wildlings and White Walkers.
Game of Thrones: Beyond the Wall is a hero collection game that will allow players to recruit some of the popular characters from the series. Battles will involve squad-based tactics where different units take turns in moving and attacking. The game will also feature several special events as well as PVP options.
As we mentioned above, pre-registration for Game of Thrones: Beyond the Wall is available for both iOS and Android. Those who want to sign up can head over to the App Store or Google Play. According to the current App Store listing, the game is expected to be released on September 23.
