Fortress Fury Cheats & Strategy Guide: 6 Useful Tips You Need to Know

Fortress Fury, developed by Xreal LLC, is a competitive strategy game for iOS and Android devices. The game invites you to channel powerful elemental magic to defeat your foes. You’ll get a chance to use alchemy to construct an imposing fortress, while refining your strategy and preparing to take on other players from all over the world. The game also promises thousands of combinations of building materials and numerous weapons, and you can also use alchemy to craft powerful items. So now that you know what the title is all about, let’s go straight to our Fortress Fury cheats and strategy guide.

1. Place The Core Strategically

The core is an important part of your fortress, and technically speaking, it can be placed anywhere within the fortress. You can also choose different types of blocks to disguise the core. But that’s where strategy comes in, as you’ll need to place your fortress in such a way that the enemy won’t know where to find it, and in a way that it’s not wide-open either. Some players decide to circumvent this by placing the core outside, but that doesn’t always work – enemies generally won’t look outside, but you’ll never know.

2. It’s All About Speed

As your weapons don’t have any cool down time, or have very quick cool downs, you can keep on firing away at will. But that’s where your speed comes in, as it often requires sheer speed and quickness when firing weapons if you want to win a battle. We’ll share with you a neat trick a little later on, one that allows you to switch weapons quicker, but as far as this tip goes, speed wins battles.

3. Heal Up

So what can the core do for you in Fortress Fury? Simply put, they heal damaged buildings, albeit slightly. It has a cool down period of its own, so you can use it as often as you need. We did say above that the core is very important, and that’s one of the main reasons why.

4. Utilize The Shield Buildings

At the start of the game, you’ll get three shield buildings that pretty much work like weapon buildings. As you may figure, they can reduce the damage you receive, and they can be used to protect a 2 x 2 area. If you notice that your opponent is aiming at a specific part of your fortress, that’s when shield buildings can come in really handy.

5. Use Quick Select

It can be quite annoying to use the touch controls to choose your weapon, as that won’t always pull up the aiming compass – very frustrating indeed. Instead, you might want to use the quick select buttons located at the bottom, as they’ll highlight any weapon that your character can use.

6. Craft Stronger Weapons and Better Buildings

Wood panels suggest a weak building, but that’s what you’ll be starting with in the game. Replace them as soon as possible, and as a bonus tip, use the materials you earn to craft new and improved weapons, as well as buildings.
