If you’re a fan of soccer, or football as it’s known practically everywhere else except the U.S., and also a fan of sports management games, you’ve probably been wondering about Football Manager Mobile 18, SEGA’s latest installment in the popular, long-running series. The game is now available for iOS device owners, and as you should know by now, your goal is to take any club of your choosing, may it be one of the world’s finest or a lesser-known name from the lower-level leagues, and guide it to more wins and championships, depending on the game mode you’re playing. (You’ll want to start with a weak team, of course, if you enjoy the challenge of starting from the ground up.) As you strive to win more games, you’ll also need to improve your lineup, but if you want championships galore, you’ll need to think with the future in mind, and that’s where the topic of Wonderkids comes in.
“Wonderkid” is the term used within the Football Manager universe to refer to players aged 16- to 20-years-old who have the best potential for superstardom, or are already at a superstar level. This would mean those whose current rating is at 3.5 to 5 stars, and if you play in one of the higher-tier leagues with one of the better teams, you should have at least a couple on your lineup in most cases. But you’ll also want to set your sights on them if you’re in control of a less-than-stellar team, and to this end, this Football Manager Mobile 18 strategy guide lists down most of the Wonderkids available in the game.
Take note that we said “most,” as we’ve limited our list of Wonderkids to those who have ratings of 4 stars and above. These are essentially the best of the best young players in the FMM18 database, so read on if you’re looking to bolster your team for the future, or if you simply need a handy reference for Wonderkids available in the game! (Just so you’ll know, we’ve listed the names of the players, their age, their nationality, the team they play for, and the positions they qualify for, except in the Goalkeepers section, of course, as GK is the only position they play.)
