Konami’s PES is one of the longest running soccer simulation series of all time. While it’s not FIFA, it has always maintained a solid following. Despite losing the rights to the UEFA Champions League last year, Konami is more than ready to take on its rival by playing to its strengths. This year’s contender, eFootball PES 2020, has been aptly named to highlight the increased focus on eSports.
The Matchday feature is one of the biggest draws of eFootball PES 2020 Mobile. Players can pick a side at the beginning, then contribute points throughout the week to help their chosen side succeed. The Matchday mode is a cross-platform feature that allows newcomers and veterans to team up regardless of the platform they are using.
Even though eFootball PES 2020 will be available on PS4, Xbox, and PC, Konami promises that the mobile version will be just as good. The mobile game boasts of console-quality graphics courtesy of the Unreal Engine 4 technology. The same technology was introduced in PES 2019, but this time around, Konami claims to have maximized its performance.
Visuals isn’t the only thing eFootball PES 2020 Mobile has going for it. Konami collaborated with Andrés Iniesta in order to develop the Finesse Dribble mechanics for mobile. This feature lets players use complex footwork and other maneuvers to get past their opponents.
eFootball PES 2020 PC and console versions will be released on September 10 while the mobile version is set to come out in October. The game will be released on both Android and iOS platforms.
