Drift It! is a brand new one-tap multiplayer arcade drifter game from PlaySide, that’s out now exclusively on iOS. In Drift It! you are controlling a car with the goal of hitting all the drift and boost points. You will need to get your combo as high as you can in order to win. Since it is a multiplayer game, you will be competing live against some of the best players from around the globe. There are also some computer-controlled bosses for you to take on, including Santa Claus! The controls are easy enough to learn with its one-tap mechanics. The challenge comes in how efficiently you can use these controls while competing against another player. There are over 20 cars for you to unlock, with dozens of modifications available at your fingertips. Create the ultimate drift car and dominate the leaderboards. 1. Master Your Timing
Starting too late or ending too early will get you knocked out of a round. You will need to time your drifts perfectly in order to stay in the competition. It takes a lot of practice in order to get the timing right. Don’t be afraid to take a few risks. This will help you gauge just how late you can start, and how early you can end. Once you have the timing mastered, everything else will be easy. When you are still starting out, do not worry too much about losing a combo. Focus on finishing the round. When you do, you will still get a 20% bonus.
2. How To Get Special Cars
Drift It! hosts seasonal events that allows you to win special cars. For example, the current Christmas event will allow you to challenge Santa Claus in order to win his car. Since you are playing a drifter game, Santa’s car isn’t a sleigh, but a Toyota 86-lookalike called Slay. Taking on these seasonal rivals isn’t easy. You will need a car that closely matches the stats of their car. Otherwise, you need a perfect combo from beginning to end. Either way, you can expect that it will take quite a few tries before you can succeed.
3. Level Up For Better Cars
Since you need a good car to beat Santa, or any other seasonal rival, you will have to level up often. Every time you level up, you will receive a reward box. Rewards could either be a prize or a new car. You get a new car every five levels, so focus on those. As soon as you get a new car, make sure you switch the wheels over. New cars will add to your multiplier, and they are universal. This will help you get even better overall.
4. Get Rid Of The Ads
Ads will be popping up once in a while, and they can be very distracting. If you want to get rid of them, you will need to buy the premium version of the game for a couple of bucks. If you don’t want to cough up the cash, however, you can also opt to just put your device on airplane mode. Since ads are stored online, the game will not be able to access them. Unfortunately, putting your game on airplane mode will also prevent you from participating in seasonal events, and you also will not be able to compete against other players. You will basically be playing a practice version of the game until you go back online.
5. Get Ad Bonuses
The video advertisements are not always bad. You can watch ads in order to get different bonuses. One bonus gives you an additional 10 seconds at the beginning of the round. You can also get a 1.5 experience bonus for ten minutes. It may not seem like much, but ten minutes is more than enough to win several races and open gift boxes.
