From the creators of Agent A: A Puzzle in Disguise comes a new puzzle game with the same stylistic quirkiness but in a more colorful tone: Down in Bermuda. Reminiscent of the playfulness of the Cartoon Network animated TV series Adventure Time, this game created by Yak & Co brings you on a quest to uncover the mysteries of Bermuda while leading a man back home.

If you’ve played games such as Cats in Time by Pine Studio, Harmony’s Odyssey by MythicOwl, or The House Of Da Vinci by Blue Brain Games, you’re likely to feel at home and enjoy this brain teaser of a game. Initially released on September 19, 2019, it has been made available for multiple platforms such as Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, tvOS, and Mac operating systems.

The game starts with an aviator flying his plane through the skies. His adventure takes a sour turn as he finds himself caught in the middle of an unnatural thunderstorm, causing him to crash into an island in the middle of Bermuda. After 3 decades alone, he meets you, the player, a friendly face to give him hope of escaping through this land in the middle of nowhere. Together, you’ll meet some friendly faces in the form of giant turtles, a high-tech computer, cute locals along with dangerous creatures that will try and cease your quest.

While the game is intuitive and easy to pick up, don’t let the bright colors and cute aesthetic fool you. Some of these puzzles can still stomp you on your tracks, especially when the solution is not immediately obvious to the eye. For that reason, we’ve created this handy Down in Bermuda walkthrough to take you out of those sticky situations and hopefully get you back on track.

Turtle Island

The game begins at Turtle Island, a small island covered in rocks, ancient ruins, and rich vegetation. There, you will meet Milton who is 30 years older and sports a thick white beard. He’ll notice your presence and ask you for help on a puzzle.

For the first puzzle, you are shown 4 large tiles with strange symbols placed in a grid path on the ground. To solve this puzzle, you’ll have to drag these tiles along the path until all of them are placed on the squares with the same symbols as them. There are many ways to solve this puzzle, but if you’d like to learn how we did it, follow the steps below. To make things simple, we’ve assigned each tile with a letter.

1. Slide D 3 squares up.
2. Slide C 1 squares down, then 3 squares to the right, then 2 squares down.
3. Slide B 2 squares down, then 2 squares to the right.
4. Slide A 5 squares down, then 3 squares to the right then 1 square down.
5. Slide B 2 squares to the left, then 3 squares up.
6. Slide D 3 squares to the left then 2 squares up.

The solution should look like this:

Once you’ve solved the first puzzle, a building will rise up from the ground. Position your camera towards it and tap the red button on top of the block on the right side of it.

Once pressed, a lever will appear on the roof of the building. Slide the lever from left to right and Milton will tell you that he sees something at the back of the building.

Rotate your camera and you’ll find another lever. Slide it downwards and more buttons and levers will appear on the block at the left side of the building.

Press the 2 buttons and slide the lever from left to right.

These controls will flip back and show 2 rotatable blocks with half of a symbol on both sides of the building. Rotate these blocks until they form a triangle like the one at the center of the building.

This will hide the blocks and activate the building, making it open its doors to reveal a giant tortoise. He’ll introduce himself as Herman and give you your first orb. Tap on the orb to take it.

An Orb Gate will rise up from the ground. Herman will tell you that you’ll need to collect all the Orbs for the Orb gate to travel between islands.

To get started, he’ll direct you to a Star Monument at the edge of the beach. If you tap the triangle button, A few nodes will light up and Milton will comment that there are still a few missing. You’ll have to look around the island to find the other stars. These stars come in the form of small white orbs.

You’ll notice that after you tapped the triangle button, the building above it opened up a door with a Star and a Star Map. Tap the Star Map first. This map will help you navigate around the island and show you the locations of all the Stars.

To make things simpler for you, we’ve stitched the map together in 1 image and marked the locations of the Stars and important items:

Orb Locations

For this island, you’ll need to find 3 Orbs to unlock the next one:

1. The first orb is already placed in the Orb Gate.
2. The second orb is already given by Herman after opening the building.
3. The third orb is obtained from the Star Monument after finding all the Stars on the island.

Item Locations

Around the northwest part of the map, you’ll find the following items:

Stars (Pink)

1. Found behind the building, in between two green rocks.
2. Found inside a chest at the edge of the shore to the left of the island.

Around the center to the east of the map, you’ll find the following items:

Stars (Pink)

3. Found in the small building where you found the Star Map.
4. Found next to the small building where you found the Star Map.
5. Found in a small building with a diamond shape.
6. Found on the white ruin next to the Star Monument.
7. Found among the airplane debris.

To the northeast of the map, you’ll find the following items:

Keyholes (Blue)

• Blue Keyhole – Behind the first puzzle, behind the ruins with a pillar. This keyhole requires a Blue Key which you can find in Shipwreck Island. To learn more, look at the “Unlocking Keyholes and Obtaining Extra Relics” section of this guide.

After collecting all of the stars, press the triangle button on the star monument and it will reward you with an Orb. Tap it and it will insert itself in one of the slots of the Orb Gate.

Once all of the orbs have been collected, the Orb Gate will be activated and a new island is unlocked.

Secret Base Island

Secret Base Island consists of two small islands: one with a lighthouse and another with a shack. Underneath the water are machines and contraptions that hide many secrets.

The first thing you’ll want to do is to find the Star Map to make it easier for you to find everything else. Without rotating the camera, move to the right until you find an island with a shack and rowboats. One of these boats contains the Star Map.

Before you start solving the island’s puzzles, take a look around the area for Stars and other items that you can collect.

Item Locations

Around the area of the Star Map, you’ll find several items:

Photograph (Red)

• Found to the left of the shack, next to the Star Monument.

Stars (Pink)

1. Found inside the shack.
2. Found under the trap door underwater, to the right of the shack.
3. Found inside a bud underwater, next to the trapdoor. You’ll need to peel off the petals before you can get the Star.
4. Found underwater underneath a square rock that has a triangle on top of it.
5. Found underneath a yellow puffer fish. Tap it to make it float momentarily so you can take the Star.

Relics (Yellow)

1. Found in a chest in the middle of the underwater mines.

Keyholes (Blue)

1. Green Keyhole – found to the side of a glass dome underwater. This Keyhole requires a Green Key which you can find on Forest Island. To learn more, look at the “Unlocking Keyholes and Obtaining Extra Relics” section of this guide.

Behind the shack, you’ll find the following items:

Keys (Orange)

• Yellow Key – found inside a chest at the back of the shack.

Keyholes (Blue)

2. Yellow Keyhole – found to the side of a glass dome underwater.

Relics (Yellow)

2-3. Use the Yellow Key to open the Yellow Keyhole and it will reveal 2 Relics inside of it that you can collect.

Around the island of the lighthouse, you’ll find the following items:

Stars (Pink)

6. Found behind a giant reef.
7. Found in a small opening under the rock.
8. Found inside a crater. Tap the crater several times until it releases a bubble with the Star inside it.
9. Found in a small opening under the rock where the crater is.
10. Found inside a giant yellow clam.
11. Found inside a bud.
12. Found under a trapdoor.
13. Found in the window of the lighthouse.
14. Found underneath a pufferfish.
15. Found inside a crater.
16. Found in an opening under the island where the swordfish is.
17. Found in a trap door at the side of the island.

Stars (Pink)

18. Found in a nook between the lighthouse and the Orb Gate. Rotate your camera so you can see the Orb Gate and the 18th star.

Relics (Yellow)

4. Found sitting on the rock below.

Once you’ve picked up all the items above, you can move on to solving the puzzles for the Orbs and other hidden items.

Orb Locations

For this island, you’ll need to find 4 Orbs to unlock the next one:

1. The first Orb is obtained by solving a few puzzles that lead to the pillar puzzle and unlocking the glass dome at the lower right of the map.
2. The second Orb is obtained by solving a few puzzles that lead to the pyramid puzzle. D.A.V.I.D. will reward you with the Orb.
3. The third Orb is obtained by collecting all of the Stars on the map, pressing the button on the Star Monument, and revealing a new building. This building has a puzzle involving four symbols found all over the map. Once solved, it will release an Orb.
4. The fourth Orb is obtained by driving away a Sea Monster by luring it to underwater mines using a canon. The Orb will appear between the island where the lighthouse is and the underwater mines.

Orb 1

For the first Orb, you’ll need to solve a few puzzles that lead to the pillar puzzle. To start, press the red button on the platform underwater next to the island with a lighthouse.

The platform will rise up and a wheel will be revealed next to the red button. Rotate the wheel and it will open up a window on the platform and reveal D.A.V.I.D.

D.A.V.I.D. will extrude 4 buttons from the wall next to his window. You’ll need to press all 4 buttons in a specific order: 3, 2, 4, 1.

A new window will open up followed by a pillar extruding from the ground.

For this pillar puzzle, follow these steps:

1. Rotate your camera to the right and you’ll find a blue knob on the side of the pillar. Slide this knob all the way to the left and it will extend upward.
2. Two blue squares are revealed on both sides of the pillar. Tap each square.
3. Both squares will reveal square blue buttons. Press both of them and it will reveal four more squares at the base of the pillar.
4. Press all four blue buttons at the base of the pillar and a lever will extrude from the top of the pillar.
5. Pull down the lever and it will reveal a new lever from another square in the ground.

6. Pull the new lever and it will reveal a second pillar.
7. Open the hatch on the side of the second pillar that’s facing the first pillar. It will reveal 2 sliders.
8. Slide these sliders to the right and it will reveal a third pillar.
9. Press the four buttons on each side of the third pillar. They will reveal a rotating mechanism at the top of the third pillar.
10. Rotate this mechanism and a lever will appear on the side of the top of the second pillar.

11. Pull down the lever on the second pillar and it will extend the third pillar.
12. Slide the boxes on the upper part of the third pillar to see the shapes underneath it which are Circle, Diamond, Diamond and Square.
13. Rotate the shapes in the second pillar according to the shapes you saw on the third pillar. Make sure these shapes are facing the side with the down arrow above it. This will open the glass dome connected to the pillars, revealing the Orb.
14. Tap the Orb and it will transport itself to the Orb Gate.

Orb 2

After finishing that puzzle, a sea monster will appear and hit the window where D.A.V.I.D. is. The blow wasn’t strong enough to break the window but it was strong enough to break the hatch below it. Tap the hatch and you’ll find the 19th and 20th stars (See Star Map above).

Once you’ve taken the stars, press the orange button 6 times to fill up the bar and release the purple gear. Rotate the gear and a new island will be extruded from the ground and Milton will be on the rowboat right next to it.

Tap Milton twice to make him move the boat with the crate next to the hole where the swordfish is. Once in position, tap the swordfish to make it come out and break the rope. This will drop the crate and break it, revealing the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd stars (See Star Map above).

Go back to the new island, pull the lever to the other side and the pyramid-like structure above it will be separated into segments. Rotate these segments until each line connects to the other. To connect these lines, rotate the second and fourth segments only. Once you’re done, pull the lever back to its original position to activate the structure. A new window will open and D.A.V.I.D. will reward you with an Orb. Tap the Orb and it will transport itself to the Orb Gate.

Orb 3

Once at the Orb Gate, move your camera downward and you’ll see an orange square button for another puzzle. To solve it, follow these steps:

1. Press the orange button to reveal two sliders behind a hatch.
2. Slide the two sliders to the right to open a door to the right of it. This will extrude another part with 3 purple levers. You’ll see 3 stars (24th, 25th, 26th stars, see Star Map above) in one of the circular windows.
3. Pull the top lever to move the stars to the right.
4. Pull the right lever to move the stars downwards.
5. Pull the bottom lever to move the stars to the left.
6. Press the red button to release the stars.
7. Tap the Stars to collect them.

Go to the Star Monument and press the orange triangle button. This will reveal a new island with a building and 4 red blocks next to four of its corners.

To solve this puzzle, you’ll need to find four symbols all over the map:

1. Found at the side of the building that was just revealed.
2. Found behind a rock, next to a chest, close to the building.
3. Found on the side of the island with the pyramid facing the lighthouse.
4. Found on a rock next to the island where the shack and Star Monument is.

Once you’ve found all symbols, you need to rotate the red blocks until all four symbols are present. Tap the Orb and it will transport itself to the Orb Gate.

Orb 4

After getting the first three orbs, D.A.V.I.D. will alert you to the presence of the sea monster. You’ll need to use a canon to lure it toward the underwater mines. Three hits are enough to shoo the sea monster away. You’ll have to direct it at specific angles by moving the two arrows:

1. Arrow 1: Middle, Arrow 2: 4th Line
2. Arrow 1: Bottom, Arrow 2: 2nd Line
3. Arrow 1: Middle, Arrow 2: 1st Line
4. Arrow 1: Top, Arrow 2: 2nd Line

After scaring away the sea monster, D.A.V.I.D. will thank you and you’ll find an orb once you zoom out and move your camera downwards. Tap the Orb and it will transport itself to the Orb Gate.

At this time, the other items cannot be accessed and you’ll have to come back later once you’ve found a Green Key. Leave through the Orb Gate for now and move on to Forest Island.

Forest Island

The Forest Island is made up of 2 large islands and 2 small islands filled with trees and rich greenery. This island, unlike the previous two, is home to a forest tribe that needs your help.

Before everything else, pick up this island’s Star Map which is found on the pier of the small island with sheep at the lower right.

Before you start solving the island’s puzzles, take a look around the area for Stars and other items that you can collect.

Item Locations

Around the area of the Star Map, you’ll find the following items:

Stars (Pink)

1. Found behind the tall hedge.
2. Found in a small pocket under the island.
3. Found under a small pocket behind the white rock that’s facing the island with sheep.

Keyholes (Blue)

• Red Keyhole – Found on the sheep’s pen gate. The Key to this is found in Lava Island. To learn more, look at the “Unlocking Keyholes and Obtaining Extra Relics” section of this guide.

Around the area north of the previous one, you’ll find the following items:

Stars (Pink)

4. Found underneath the lily pad.
5. Found inside the hut (along with a duck).
6. Found inside the hut.
7. Found inside the hut.

Keys (Orange)

• Green Key – Found underneath a hollow boulder. This Key unlocks the Keyhole in Secret Base Island. To learn more, look at the “Unlocking Keyholes and Obtaining Extra Relics” section of this guide.

Around the area to the southeast part of the island, you’ll find the following items:

Stars (Pink)

8. Found on a reddish tree.
9. Found inside a chest behind a hedge.
10. Found underneath a lily pad.

Around the area to the northeast part of the island, where the red mushrooms are, you’ll find the following items:

12-14. Revealed after tapping the red mushrooms in the correct order. Refer to the image above for the order.

Relic (Yellow)

1. Found underneath the hollow boulder.

Around the area to the northwest part of the island, you’ll find the following items:

16. Found behind one of the doors on the island.

18. Found at one end of a log.

19. Found in a hole in a white rock behind some trees.

Around the area to the west part of the island, where the greenhouse is, you’ll find the following items:

20. Found in a crack on the ground behind the greenhouse.

21. Found behind one of the wooden windows of the greenhouse.

Relic (Yellow)

1. Found inside a chest next to the greenhouse and a plant with large leaves.

Around the area to west part of the island, to the right of the greenhouse where the rabbits are, you’ll find the following items:

22-24. Revealed after all 5 rabbits enter the rabbit holes. To lead them there, simply tap on them until they reach the hole.

Around the area to the southwest part of the island, you’ll find the following items:

Stars (Pink)

1. Found in a crack on a white rock surrounded by trees.
2. Found underneath a lily pad.

Relic (Yellow)

1. Found underneath the hollow boulder.

Now that you’ve collected every item not hidden by major puzzles, let’s move on to obtaining the Orbs.

Orb Locations

For this island, you’ll need to find 5 Orbs to unlock the next one:

1. The first Orb is obtained by releasing the three villagers hanging from a tree.
2. The second Orb is obtained by bringing power back to the village.
3. The third Orb is obtained by solving the dam puzzle on the west side of the village.
4. The fourth Orb is obtained by solving the dam puzzle on the east side of the village.
5. The fifth Orb is obtained by solving the totem puzzle that appears after collecting all Stars and pressing the triangle button on the Star Monument.

Orb 1

For the first Orb, you’ll need to release 3 villagers hanging from the tree. To do this, simply tap them 3 times each. Once they’ve been freed, they will reward you with an Orb. Tap the Orb and it will transport itself to the Orb Gate.

Orb 2

For the second Orb, go to the southeast part of the island and you’ll find a villager standing on a white slab of rock. Tap them and they will tell you that the island has run out of power and they need help getting it back.

To accomplish this feat, follow these steps:

1. After talking to them, a lever will appear next to them. Pull it 4 times and a pillar will rise from the ground.
2. Press the 4 buttons on each side of the pillar and a handle will rise from the ground.
3. Pull up the handle to bring up another mechanism.
4. Press the red button and it will reveal 4 red switches.
5. Pull the 4 switches upward and another handle will rise up from the ground.
6. Pull up the handle to bring up one more mechanism.

7. Pull up the two handles on the left and right side of the mechanism, revealing a button on each side with a total of 4.
8. Press all 4 buttons before the timer runs out and a small box will rise from the ground.
9. Press the 2 buttons on the 2 sides of the box and a rectangle box with buttons on top will rise from the ground.
10. Press the 4 buttons on top of the rectangle box and it will reveal 4 symbols. A pillar and a hatch will also rise from the ground.

11. Open the hatch and tap the rectangles to change its colors according to the rectangle colors on the pillar that appear next to it. 4 levers with symbols will rise from the ground.
12. Pull the 4 levers according to the direction of the opening of the symbols on the box. This step will bring power back to the island.
13. The villager will reward you with an Orb. Tap the Orb and it will transport itself to the Orb Gate.

Orb 3

For the third Orb, go to the west dam and you’ll find Milton poking a beehive. Tap the beehive and it will try to attack Milton. He will dive into the water and will end up getting pushed towards the plug. This will cause it to open, letting water pour out.

You’ll have to rotate the parts of the maze to connect it to the fountain like the image below. Afterwards, an Orb will sprout above the fountain. Tap the Orb and it will transport itself to the Orb Gate.

Orb 4

For the fourth Orb, go to the east dam after the previous Orb had been collected. A giant spider has appeared and you’ll need to kill the spider with electricity from a power source.

Milton will place a plug from a power supply to the east fountain. You’ll need to also rotate the parts of the maze to connect it to the fountain like the image below. This will cause the spider to get electrocuted, killing it and releasing an Orb. Tap the Orb and it will transport itself to the Orb Gate.

Orb 5

For the fifth Orb, go to the southwest part of the island where the Star Monument is and press the orange triangle button once you’ve collected every Star in the map. 3 totem poles will rise from the water. There is a mini version of it close by at the northwest side of the map. Rotate the totems according to that mini version and an Orb will appear by the Star Monument. Tap the Orb and it will transport itself to the Orb Gate.

At this time, the other items cannot be accessed and you’ll have to come back later once you’ve found an Orange Key. Leave through the Orb Gate for now and move on to Shipwreck Island.

Shipwreck Island

Shipwreck Island is made up of several small islands connected by railroad tracks and surrounded by broken ships.

Before you get started, grab the Star Map on the small island to the west on top of the table next to the stacks of wooden planks.

Before you start solving the island’s puzzles, take a look around the area for Stars and other items that you can collect. Around the area of the Star Map, you’ll find several items:

Stars (Pink)

1. Found inside a chest.
2. Found under a tree next to the stack of wooden planks.
3. Found in the opening of a log.

Around the other side of the same island, you’ll find the following items:

Stars (Pink)

4. Found in the crack under a ship.
5. Found underneath a trap door on the same ship as 4.
6. Found in a hole in between a stack of rocks.

Around the island to the north, you’ll find the following items:

Keyholes (Blue)

• Orange Keyhole – Found behind the Giant Skull, on the gate for the minecart. The Key for this is found in Turtle Island. To learn more, look at the “Unlocking Keyholes and Obtaining Extra Relics” section of this guide.

Stars (Pink)

7. Found underneath a trap door.
8. Found underneath a raft.
9. Found underneath large leaves at the side of the skull island.

Around the island to the east, you’ll find the following items:

Stars (Pink)

10. Found underneath a raft.
11. Found underneath the leaves of a small plant.
12. Found underneath the large leaves at the side of the island.
13. Revealed behind a ramp by rotating the wheel on top of the watchtower with a white flag. This wheel will also reveal an area that can be blown up by the canon.

Around the island to the south (the one with the 3-wheel mechanism on it), just below the rectangle of railroad tracks, you’ll find the following items:

14. Found in a hole in a rock to the east of the island.
15. Found on the crow’s nest of a sunken pirate ship to the east of the island.
16. Found underneath large leaves that are next to the sunken pirate ship.
17. Found underneath the island where the railroad tracks go under.

18. For this star, you’ll need to rotate the wheel on the island to reveal a second wheel. Rotate this wheel to reveal a third one. Rotate this one to pull out the sunken pirate ship. The star is found underneath the trap door.

Relic (Yellow)

1. Found inside the treasure chest underneath the trap door.

Around the island to the south (the very bottom part of the map where the Star Monument is), you’ll find the following items:

Stars (Pink)

19. Found inside a hole inside a rock to the west of the island
20. Found underneath large leaves.
21. Found underneath the island where the railroad tracks go under.

Around the island to the south west (west of the island with a 3-wheel mechanism), you’ll find the following items:

Stars (Pink)

22. Found underneath the island where the railroad tracks go under.
23. Found under a crack underneath the island.
24. Found on top of the boat.
25. Found inside a hole inside a rock.
26. Found underneath a raft.

For the rest of the items and puzzles, you need to move the cannon through the railroad tracks and use it to fire at cracks, Xs, and monsters. The cannon will always point in 1 direction. If you want it to switch direction, you’ll have to go to the roundabout found to the northwest part of the map as marked below:

Orb Locations

For this island, you’ll need to find 3 Orbs to unlock the next one:

1. The first Orb is obtained by helping the blue sea creature get back to their seaweed farm by getting rid of the boat and the Kraken.
2. The second Orb is obtained by finding all of Bermuda Bill Bottomsworth’s treasures.
3. The third Orb is obtained by collecting all of the Stars on the map, pressing the button on the Star Monument, and breaking the 3 pillars that are revealed.

Orb 1

For the first orb, you’ll have to sink the boat in the middle of the map and get rid of the Kraken. Take the cannon from the northeast side of the map and shoot at the boat from the lower left, middle left, and upper left as shown in the image. Make sure to target the X planks on the boat to bore holes in it and make it sink.

Once the boat has sunk, the Kraken will appear. You’ll need to hit it with your canon to direct it to the whirlpool. To accomplish this, take the following steps:

1. Position your canon to the lower right and shoot the Kraken to move it to the left.

2. Position your canon to the lower left, just below the Kraken, and shoot it to move it upward.

3. Position your canon to the middle left and shoot the Kraken to move it to the right.

4. Position your canon to the middle bottom and shoot the Kraken to move it upward.

5. Position your canon to the top right and shoot the Kraken to move it to the left.

6. Position your canon to the top left and shoot the Kraken to move it downward.

7. Position your canon to the middle left and shoot the Kraken to move it to the right and sink it through the whirlpool.

After the Kraken has disappeared, an Orb will spout out of the whirlpool and the sea creature will return to the water. Tap the Orb and it will transport itself to the Orb Gate.

Orb 2

For the second Orb, you’ll have to find all of Bermuda Bill Bottomsworth’s treasures. Since some of the items have been retrieved already, all that’s left are the items that can only be found by using your canon.

First, go to the roundabout at the northwest part of the map. You’ll find the following items:

Relics (Yellow)

2. Found behind the X on the boat in the middle of the roundabout.

3. Found behind the X on the boat close to the roundabout.

4. Found behind the crack on the island close to the roundabout.

Around the south of the map, you’ll find the following items:

Relics (Yellow)

5. Found behind the crack on the island to the southwest of the railroad track rectangle.

6. Found behind the X on the boat on the island with the 3-wheel mechanism.

7-8. Found behind the crack on the island at the bottom of the map. To get to that spot, you’ll need to take a few steps:

1.1. Shoot the X on the ruins in front of the crack. This will make another structure similar to it appear next to the island with the 3-wheel mechanism.

1.2. Go to the roundabout to change the position of the canon. Shoot the X on the new ruins and the first ruins will now have a hole in the middle.

1.3. Go to the roundabout again to change the position of the canon. Shoot through the hole of the first ruins to break the crack on the island behind it. This will reveal a treasure chest with 2 Relics inside of it.

Move your canon back to the northeast part of the map where the canon originally was and you’ll find the following:

Keys (Orange)

• Blue Key – Shoot the crack on the island which was hidden by the skull emblem and you’ll find a treasure chest with a Blue Key inside of it.

Once you’ve found all the treasures, Bermuda Bill Bottomsworth will reward you with an Orb. Tap the Orb and it will transport itself to the Orb Gate.

Orb 3

For the third Orb, once you’ve collected all the Stars in the map, tap the orange triangle on the Star Monument and 3 pillars with 3 rotating targets each will appear in 3 different parts of the map: The northwest, northeast and southwest (see map below.)

Each tier has a different speed of rotation, with the lowest tier being the slowest and the top tier being the fastest. You’ll need to time the release of your canon to hit the Xs. Don’t forget to use the roundabout when you need to change the position of your canon!

Once you’ve hit all targets, an orb will be released from a rock to the north of the railroad track rectangle. Tap the Orb and it will transport itself to the Orb Gate.

At this time, the other items cannot be accessed and you’ll have to come back later once you’ve found an Orange Key. Leave through the Orb Gate for now and move on to Lava Island.

Lava Island

Lava Island is made up of 1 large island, 3 medium islands, and 1 small island. Decorated with white ruins with a snake theme, this volcanic island is filled with healthy vegetation and a few tribesmen.

Before you get started, grab the Star Map in the hut next to the Star Monument on the largest island at the center.

Before you start solving the island’s puzzles, take a look around the area for Stars and other items that you can collect.

Around the area of the Star Map, you’ll find several items:

Photograph (Red)

• Found on top of elevated land.

Keys (Orange)

• Red Key – Found underneath a hollow boulder. This Key unlocks the Keyhole in Forest Island. To learn more, look at the “Unlocking Keyholes and Obtaining Extra Relics” section of this guide.

Relics (Yellow)

1. Found underneath a hollow boulder.

Stars (Pink)

1. Found underneath the snake head statue.
2. Found in the hole of a fallen ruin pillar.
3. Found underneath ruins that form an inverted V shape.
4. Found inside one of the huts (next to the hut where you found the star map).
5. Found in the opening of one of the ruins close to the shore.
6. Found inside a ruin close to the shore. You’ll have to slide down the lever behind it to open the door before you can take the star.
7. Found inside the hut in between the blocky snake structure with a waterfall and the pool of lava.
8. Found underneath large dark green leaves.
9. Found inside the mouth of the face on the blocky snake structure. You’ll need to press its nose to reveal the star in its mouth.
10. Found in the waterfall opening in front of the blocky snake structure.
11. Found in the waterfall opening behind the blocky snake structure.
12. Found underneath large light green leaves on the small island.
13. Found underneath large light green leaves on the large island next to an elevated land.
14. Found on the right side of the elevated land at the opening of the waterfall.

Around the island to the west, you can find the following items:

Relics (Yellow)

2. Found underneath a hollow boulder.

Stars (Pink)

15. Found in the opening of a log.

16. Found inside a tipi.

17. Found underneath large light green leaves.

18. Found inside a ruin close to the shore. You’ll have to slide down the lever behind it to open the door before you can take the star.

Around the island to the north, you can find the following items:

Relics (Yellow)

3. Found underneath a hollow boulder.

Stars (Pink)

19. Found underneath large light green leaves.

20. Found behind a white block.

21. Found in between a crack next to a plant with large light green leaves.

Around the island to the east, you can find the following items:

Stars (Pink)

22. Found inside a hut with bushes next to it.

23. Found in between a crack.

24. Found inside a hut with a bridge next to it.

25-32. These stars are inside these holes and you can only bring them out by tapping on the holes to shoot water out. However, you can only do that once you start fighting the Fire God which will be discussed later for how to obtain the first Orb. If the battle with the Fire God ends before you’re able to get all the stars, you can return to this area and tap the holes to get the Stars again.

Once you’ve picked up all the items above, you can move on to solving the puzzles for the Orbs and other hidden items.

Orb Locations

For this island, you’ll need to find 3 Orbs to unlock the next one:

1. The first Orb is obtained by releasing the lava from the snake head and fighting the Fire God.
2. The second Orb is obtained by breaking the planks on the west island.
3. The third Orb is obtained by pressing the orange triangle button on the Star Monument once you’ve found all of the Stars in the island.

Orb 1

For the first Orb, you’ll have to summon the Fire God and defeat him. To accomplish this, take the following steps:

Activating the Southern Snakehead Structure

1. Go to the southern snakehead structure and press the eyebrow buttons of the face on the left side. This will reveal a new button in its mouth.

2. Press the button in its mouth, this will reveal four buttons on each side of the roof of the southern snake structure.

3. Go to the northern snakehead structure. You’ll notice that the faces have different colored teeth. Tap the buttons on the southern snake to copy the colors of their teeth. Make sure that the sides match (ex. north side to north side, etc.). This final step will activate the southern snake head structure.

Activating the Northern Snakehead Structure

1. Find the 4 rotatable mechanisms with symbols to the north, east, west, and south of the map. Rotate them to match the symbols on top of the faces on the northern snakehead structure. Once completed, these faces will lift up, revealing buttons.

2. Press the four buttons. This final step will activate the northern snakehead structure.

Summoning the Fire God

Once both snake head structures have been activated, it will activate the giant snake head in the middle, pouring lava downwards. You’ll have to rotate the paths to connect them and bring the lava to the sleeping Fire God to awaken them.

Fighting the Fire God

To fight the Fire God, you’ll need to shoot water from the holes to extinguish them and their minions by tapping on the holes. However, each hole releases water from a different location. To aid you with that, the image below

The battle will alternate between extinguishing the Fire God and the minions. At the very last round, both the Fire God and the minions will be present. You’ll need to extinguish the minions first before the Fire God. Once they’ve all been extinguished, an Orb rises from the middle hole. Tap the Orb and it will transport itself to the Orb Gate.

Orb 2

For the second Orb, you’ll need to find Milton on one of the seesaws scattered throughout the map. You have to tap the other side of the seesaw to catapult him to the next one until he reaches the planks on the west island. To accomplish this, take the following steps:

1. Tap the seesaw at the upper right corner of the largest island.
2. Tap the seesaw at the lower right corner of the north island.
3. Tap the seesaw at the smallest island.
4. Tap the seesaw at the upper right side of the west island.
5. Tap the seesaw at the upper left part of the east island.
6. The final destination after the 5th seesaw is the planked area at the west island.

Upon breaking the planks, you’ll find an orb and 3 relics. Take the relics and tap the Orb to transport it to the Orb Gate.

Orb 3

For the third Orb, all you have to do is press the orange triangle button after you’ve obtained all Stars and it will rise from one of the ruins. Tap the Orb and it will transport itself to the Orb Gate.

Unlike other islands, this one does not have any keyholes to be unlocked and you won’t have to come back for it. Leave through the Orb Gate now and move on to Labyrinth Island.

Labyrinth Island

The Labyrinth Island is made up of geometrical shapes and crystals, some of which are connected by railroad tracks. Of all the islands in the game, this is the most unique and almost alien looking one.

Before you get started, grab the Star Map on the small pink crystal to the north of the Orb Gate.

Unlike the previous islands, there are no orbs that need to be collected. Instead, you’ll have to solve several puzzles to finally escape Bermuda.

Before you start solving the island’s puzzles, take a look around the area for Stars and other items that you can collect.

Around the starting area, you’ll find several items:

Keyholes (Blue)

• Purple Keyhole – Found on the side of one of the elevated platforms with a giant blue crystal.

Stars (Pink)

1. Found in between a cluster of tall pink crystals close to the Orb Gate.
2. Found in between cracks of a tall pink crystal.
3. Found inside a chest on a pink platform next to a blue crystal.
4. Found behind a large blue crystal.
5. Found in the middle of pink plants.
6. Found inside a chest close to some pink plants.
7. Found in the middle of a large blue crystal and an elevated platform.
8. Found in the middle of an elevated platform and a pink structure with an entrance.

Around the northwest side of the map, you’ll find the following items:

Relics (Yellow)

1. Found on a small pink crystal.

Stars (Pink)

9. Found on a small platform in the middle of glowing plants.

10. Found in between pink crystals of varying sizes.

11. Found next to a railroad track.

12. Found in between 2 large pink crystals.

13. Found next to a blue rock with mint green plants.

Around the northeast side of the map, you’ll find the following items:

Relics (Yellow)

2. Found in between the cracks of a giant pink crystal.

Stars (Pink)

14. Found in a hole at the top of a giant pink crystal.

Around the southeast side of the map, you’ll find the following items:

Photograph (Red)

• Found next to small blue rocks and crystals.

Relics (Yellow)

3. Found inside a chest on a broken-up platform where Star 20 is.

Stars (Pink)

15. Found in the middle of mint green plants.

16. Found inside a chest next to mint green plants.

17. Found behind a mint green plant close to an elevated platform.

18. Found next to a giant pink crystal.

19. Found in the middle of pink plants on the water.

20. Found inside a chest on a broken-up platform where Relic 3 is.

Once you’ve picked up all the items above, press the orange triangle button on the Star Monument to open up the door on the pink structure. Afterward, you’ll need to solve a few puzzles to create a path to get there.

Tile Puzzle

For this puzzle, there are many ways to solve it. However, if you’d like to do it the way we solved it, we’ve listed down each step we took and we’ve marked each tile with a letter to make things easier to follow.

1. Move E 1 tile downward, 2 tiles to the right, and 1 tile downward.
2. Move A 1 tile downward, 5 tiles to the left, 3 tiles downward, 2 tiles to the left, and 1 tile upward.
3. Move E 4 tiles upward, 5 tiles to the right, and 1 tile upward.
4. Move B 1 tile upward and 4 tiles to the left.
5. Move C 2 tiles upward and 3 tiles to the left.
6. Move D 3 tiles upward and 2 tiles to the left.
7. Move E 1 tile downward, 1 tile to the left, and 3 tiles downward.
8. Move D 2 tiles to the right, and 2 tiles downward.
9. Move C 4 tiles to the right.
10. Move B 4 tiles to the right, and 1 tile downward.
11. Move H 5 tiles upward.
12. Move F 1 tile upward, 3 tiles to the right and 2 tiles downward.
13. Move G 2 tiles upward, 3 tiles to the right and 1 tile downward.
14. Move H 3 tiles downward, 3 tiles to the left, and 2 tiles downward.
15. Move C 5 tiles to the left, 3 tiles downward, 3 tiles to the left, and 1 tile downward.
16. Move 4 tiles upward, 5 tiles to the right, and 1 tile upward.
17. Move C 1 tile upward, 3 tiles to the right, and 1 tile downward.
18. Move H 2 tiles upward, 3 tiles to the right, and 1 tile upward.
19. Move C 1 tile upward, 3 tiles to the left, and 2 tiles downward.
20. Move H 1 tile downward, 3 tiles to the left, and 1 tile downward, completing the puzzle.

3-Cube Puzzle

Upon finishing the tile puzzle, one of the three cubes on the water will have a button extruded from them, starting a new puzzle.

1. Press the extruded button and another button will extrude from one of the other cubes. Press it and it will extrude another from the last cube which you’ll also need to press. Once all three have been pressed, the cubes will rise from the water, revealing patterns on one side and buttons on the other.

2. The buttons on the cubes will turn its light on and off when tapped. To solve this next part, you’ll need to copy the pattern of the sides with the same color of lights as the buttons. This will extrude the orange buttons on one side of the cubes.

3. Press the orange buttons and this will extrude window-like squares on the other side.

4. Rotate the crosses in the middle of the squares counterclockwise and this will activate the mushrooms in the southeast part of the map.

Mushroom Puzzle

For this puzzle, all you have to do is tap the mushrooms in the order that they blink. It doesn’t matter which mushroom you start with. The important thing is that you tap them in order. The image below shows a sample sequence:

Once this puzzle has been solved, Milton will ride the minecart and a new maze-connecting puzzle will appear.

Maze-Connecting Puzzle

To solve this puzzle, you’ll need to rotate the paths to connect the door to the railroad path. The path must turn pink for it to be a valid connection. Below is how the path should look like:

Railroad Puzzle

For this puzzle, you’ll need to activate 3 platforms by moving your cart towards it to open the door that leads to the path to the pink structure’s door. Follow the paths we’ve drawn below to solve this puzzle:

Upon opening the door, bring your minecart to the start of the maze path you’ve connected previously and Milton will make his way to the door and up to the location of the sleeping tortoise, Sherman. After conversing with him, he will give you a Purple Key.

Tap to take the key then rotate your camera to look at the back of the structure Milton and Sherman are currently on to show the Purple Keyhole. Tap this keyhole to use the key and 5 pillars will emerge from the water.

Pillar Puzzles

For these puzzles, all you have to do is rotate parts of the pillars to connect them to each other. You can refer to the images below to help you align them.

After aligning all pillars, they will shine a ray of light on a crystal and a purple portal will appear on the roof of the pink structure. Using this portal, Milton can safely return back in time and go home, ending the main game.

If you want to fully 100% the game and get all the missing relics, move on to the next section.

Unlocking Keyholes and Obtaining Extra Relics

Each island except for Lava Island has a colored Keyhole that must be unlocked by a key of the same color. Labyrinth Island’s Purple Key and Secret Base Island’s Yellow Key unlock their own island’s Keyhole, but the other Keyholes in Secret Base Island, Turtle Island, Forest Island, and Shipwreck Island are dependent on other island’s Keys to open them.

Turtle Island

On this island, you can find a Blue Keyhole behind the first puzzle, behind the ruins with a pillar.

To open this Keyhole, you’ll need to first obtain the Blue Key from Shipwreck Island. If you have not obtained it yet, it is found by using your cannon to shoot the crack on the island which was hidden by the skull emblem. The skull emblem will roll away if you rotate the steering wheel on the watchtower above.

Upon using the Blue Key to unlock the Blue Keyhole, you will obtain the Orange Key.

Secret Base Island

On this island, aside from the Yellow Keyhole that can be opened by the Yellow Key found inside the chest above it, you can find a Green Keyhole to the side of a glass dome underwater.

To open this Keyhole, you’ll need to first obtain the Green Key from Forest Island. If you have not obtained it yet, it is found underneath a hollow boulder.

Upon using the Green Key to unlock the Green Keyhole, you’ll need to solve a puzzle involving 3 vats and 3 levers to open the smaller dome and collect the 3 Relics. To solve this puzzle, you’ll need to fill up Vat A and B with the orange liquid up to the mark. To accomplish this, take the following steps:

1. Pull Lever 1 to the left.
2. Pull Lever 2 to the right.
3. Pull Lever 3 to the left.
4. Pull Lever 2 to the right.
5. Pull Lever 1 to the left.
6. Pull Lever 2 to the right.
7. Pull Lever 3 to the left.

After the final step, the small dome with 3 Relics should open and will become free to collect.

Forest Island

On this island, you’ll find a Red Keyhole on the sheep’s pen gate at the small island to the south of the map.

To open this Keyhole, you’ll need to first obtain the Red Key from Lava Island. If you have not obtained it yet, it is found underneath a hollow boulder on the south end of the largest island.

Upon using the Red Key to unlock the Red Keyhole, you’ll need to solve a puzzle involving 9 white sheep and 9 black sheep. The goal is to move all white sheep to the black sheep pen and all the black sheep to the white sheep pen.

The only way for you to move a sheep is to move them to an adjacent space or make a sheep jump over another sheep. In our experience, this puzzle gets a lot easier if you focus on 1 diagonal line of sheep first, then do the other side. After you’ve accomplished that, scramble the sheep to get the last 3 black and last 3 white sheep to their designated pens.

Once you’ve solved the puzzle, the villager will reward you with a relic.

Shipwreck Island

On this island, you’ll find an Orange Keyhole on the skull island to the north. It is behind the Giant Skull, on the gate for the minecart.

To open this Keyhole, you’ll need to first obtain the Orange Key from Turtle Island. If you have not obtained it yet, you can get it by using a Blue Key to open the Blue Keyhole behind the ruins with a pillar.

Upon using the Orange Key to unlock the Orange Keyhole, you’ll need to tap the minecart a few times until it reaches the other end of the rails. Once it does, you’ll be able to collect 2 Relics.

Once you’ve found all Relics, go to the Relic Monument and tap it. The game will then roll the credits, signifying the completion of the game.
