Conquerors: Clash of Crowns Guide: 9 Tips, Cheats & Strategies to Build Your Empire

Conquerors: Clash of Crowns is a real-time strategy game with a strong multiplayer element in which you manage your own city, recruit heroes who then lead your army into many battles. The game sets your city on a map, surrounded by other players’ fortresses and you can plunder, kill AI-controlled rebels, join guilds and conquer capitals in order to form kingdoms and many more things.

Conquerors: Clash of Crowns can be played easily without spending any money, and the key to becoming powerful is carefully managing resources, knowing when to attack and when to step aside, and which buildings to invest in.

The story is set in the Arabian world, with heroes being famous warlords from the Middle East, with aesthetics dominated by middle-eastern themes, giving the game a sort of a desert charm. The art style is excellent, with detailed buildings, lots of details that can be found inside your city, and charming desert maps dotted with oasis.

Once you start playing Conquerors: Clash of Crowns your first mission is to level up heroes and erect important constructions that help in reaching higher city levels. This leads to a massive rise in power, and ultimately should help you joining a powerful clan because playing Conquerors: Clash of Crowns isn’t as interesting when outside of a clan. The game revolves around conquering and defending capital cities placed all around the map and forming clan kingdoms, with raiding other players being put in the background. Sure, burning other player’s cities can be fun but it won’t give you the satisfaction of having your own kingdom on the map.

You can become powerful enough in order to join a mighty clan in just a couple of days by playing smart and using many gifts the game throws at you. Just follow our advice, and you will soon have powerful heroes, a mighty army, and enough power to become a dominating force on your part of the map.

1. Your First Focus Should Be Construction Of Mines And Farms

In Conquerors: Clash of Crowns there are four main resources: food, wood, stone, and gold. While wood is used mainly for leveling up and constructing new buildings and it tends to always be in abundance, having enough food and stone can be troublesome at times. This is especially true for stone because if you want to quickly level up your buildings and reach high city levels fast, you must have lots of stone.

So, when you start the game, your first focus should be building mines. Just build the max number of mines and level them up as many times as the game allows it. Since building levels depend on the level of your city, each time you raise your city to a new level, improve mines before everything else. You should keep your mines always leveled up to the max.

Once you build and level up all available mines, focus on farms. Food and stone are more important than wood so make sure to have a max number of farms and mines. You can have just a couple of sawmills and have more than enough wood, but if you have enough resources to spare, build max number of sawmills. As for the fourth resource buildings, infirmaries care about your most important resource; your soldiers so make sure to have at least one of them leveled up to the max. Also, buy new land to build more resource buildings every time the game informs you about unlocking more land.

2. Do Not Recruit New Soldiers Untill Your Barracks Reach Level 6

There are four different buildings for recruiting four different soldier types. You can recruit infantry, archers, cavalry and support (trebuchets). Now, while you can recruit soldiers as soon as you construct each of the four buildings do not do that because you will just waste resources. Your starting army is big enough to last you until you manage to level up recruitment centers to level 6, giving you access to stronger soldiers that are way more powerful than starting units.

Start recruiting specific soldier class only once the specific building reaches level 6. They are way more powerful than basic ones, are not very expensive and will give you much more power than basic ones. It is worth mentioning that once you level up a specific recruitment building to level 6, all soldiers recruited there will also level up (for instance, once your barracks reach level 6 all infantry will advance to a higher rank).

3. Leveling Up Your City Should Be Your Top Priority

Your city level dictates which new buildings you can use and each new city level will increase level cap for all other constructions so you should always proactively fulfill requirements for the next city level.

Build necessary structures, level up existing ones, and make sure to have enough resource buildings in order to be able to activate the next city level as soon as you unlock it.

4. Do Not Be Afraid To Use Construction Boosters

If you spend lots of time playing Conquerors: Clash of Crowns, opening chests, receiving rewards for completing quests and achievements the game will give you an abundance of construction boosters used for speeding up construction when leveling up your structures. And when we say an abundance of boosters we really mean it.

You will have enough boosters to quickly raise your city so after you play the game for about two days and reach city level 4, start using your boosters. They should be used primarily for speeding up construction of buildings needed for leveling up your city, resource structures (especially mines), and recruitment buildings.

There are lots of them so use them freely in order to quickly reach level 6 of recruitment buildings, giving you access to powerful soldiers, and for leveling up your city and certain structures like the warehouse, academy, and resource edifices. Once you run out of construction boosters, your city will be level 9 or 10, and you should achieve 1,000,000 power. This is important because powerful guilds usually require for new members to have at least 1,000,000 power and a city that’s at least level 10.

5. You Should Have Two Powerful Heroes Of Every Class

As is the case with soldiers, there are four different hero classes – infantry, ranged (archers), cavalry, and support. Since different single player missions ask for different soldier types, you should have at least two powerful heroes of each class so that you can send two heroes of the same class on a mission that favors certain class. There are different ways to gain hero experience – spend XP books that can be earned from opening chests and reaching certain achievements, send heroes to hunt low-level rebels, or send them to training grounds that appear on a world map from time to time.

6. Check The World Map From Time To Time In Order To Spot Temporary Constructions That Can Be Looted

While most other similar games feature permanent lootable constructions on the world map (permanent in terms that once they appear they won’t disappear until you, or some other player, send troops and loots them), Conquerors: Clash of Crowns features temporary lootable buildings that appear and disappear from the world map at random intervals.

In order to get the most out of them, check out world map from time to time so that you can spot new buildings and once you find them, immediately send troops to loot them. You should focus on three building types – those that give you stone, gold coins, and experience for your heroes. You should send heroes you want to level up and make more powerful to latter ones, not just any heroes.

7. Play The Single Player Campaign To Boost Your Heroes

While this might seem trivial, single player missions can give you important items during early game, and they will also boost your heroes quickly. You should Finish the first chapter immediately after starting the game, and then finish it again on hard difficulty once you grow heroes stronger.

Now, once you unlock chapter two, the campaign becomes way too hard, and you should embark on missions only if your army fulfills power requirements. Do not enter battles you cannot win because in Conquerors: Clash of Crowns you will lose lots of units, and unlike in most other similar games, a huge percent of units will be lost permanently with only like 10 percent ending up wounded. This is very important because by embarking on a couple of tough missions you can lose the majority of your army, needing a huge amount of time to rebuild.

8. Hunting Rebels On The World Map Will Give You New Heroes

New heroes can be recruited in heroes hall, but they can also be recruited by killing rebels. Now, killing low-level rebels over and over again won’t grant you, new heroes. The only way to make them join you is to start with level 1 rebels and then gradually hunt for higher ones. So, start with level 1 rebels, and from then on you should get a new hero each couple of levels. And be careful because, starting with level 8 rebels become very tough to beat so watch for power requirements in order to not lose most of your troops.

9. Your Ultimate Goal Should Be Joining A Powerful Guild

Your main goal is for your city to reach level 10 and for your power to reach 1,000,000 points. From then on try joining a powerful guild that is competitive and which members are ready to try conquering a capital city and founding their own kingdom. Do not enter inactive guilds because of Conquerors: Clash of Crowns is way more interesting once your guild manages to conquer a capital city. Once you and your guild buddies manage to get a capital city, make sure to all of you relocate near it in order to be able to defend it easily.

Okay, folks, that was all. We hope this guide will you you reaching a high city level and joining a competitive guild. Thanks for reading and happy gaming!
