Colonization Idle Clicker Tips, Cheats & Strategies to Help You Get Rich Quick

Colonization Idle Clicker, a new mobile title from Bling Bling Games, is a spin-off of a previous game known as Crafting Idle Clicker, and specifically its special event called “The New World.” If you’re familiar with that latter game, this new title should be peanuts for you, as it makes use of the same basic idle clicking mechanics. Likewise, your goal will still be to create a network of items in production, starting with your base materials, and earn as much profit as you could from selling those items. It’s a lot like the concept behind crafting, so if you also happen to be a fan of crafting games, this could be one idle clicker you should be checking out soon in the Google Play and Apple App Stores.

Idle clickers normally don’t require much of a learning curve — it usually takes just a few minutes for players to figure things out on their own, and start tapping while active/idling away from the game to maximize offline profits. But every idle clicker has its own subtle or not-so-subtle differences from the other, and that’s the reason why we’re still bringing you a Colonization Idle Clicker strategy guide. This is a quick guide with six beginner’s tips, so read on if you want to maximize those play-throughs and prestige at the right time!

1. Monitor That Production Information

One of the first things you have to learn about Colonization Idle Clicker is that you have to be up to date with the items you’re producing. Tap on the Stats button on the upper right, and you’ll be able to get a snapshot of any given item, as well as a number of stats you need to keep in mind. Surplus, however, is the one stat you should be looking at in particular, as that’s going to tell you how many units of a specific item you have in excess. It’s important that you always have enough of a certain raw material to satisfy the production of a given item, and when it comes to optimizing your production, it couldn’t be any more simpler than this — start by maximizing your production of base items or raw materials, then work your way through items that require whatever you had just maximized or upgraded, maxing those out as you go along. Surplus is something that you want to minimize — it represents excess items, and if you make too much of a certain item, you’re essentially wasting money.

2. Upgrades Should Always Focus On The Last Item Researched

When upgrading items in Colonization Idle Clicker, you want to work primarily on the last item that you had unlocked via research, as it’s the one that will earn you the most profits. Work on those items the moment they’re unlocked, and you’ll be fine in most cases.

Note that we said most cases, because there is an exception to the rule. If the last item you u unlocked is a raw material, you can still focus on the existing group of items when upgrading. But you will eventually unlock a new item that requires the use of the previous one as a raw material; once this happens, check if you’ve maxed out production of any previous items, then focus on selling surplus on occasion. This will allow you to keep the earlier items profitable, because they will lose their relative value each time you level them up.

3. Watch Ad Videos To Boost Your Income

It’s an old standby of many a mobile game — watching ads allows you to earn bigger rewards, or in this case, twice the income you’ve already earned. Make sure the double income option is always activated within the game, and once you have, go ahead and watch any available ad once you log back into the game. (And that too includes your income after you return to the game after being away for several hours or more.) Advertisements, aside from doubling your income the conventional way, can also help you out by fast forwarding time — that too boosts your income, so feel free to take advantage of this option if it becomes available.

4. Keep Investing In Researchers

Research is one of the key mechanics in the game, and that means you should regularly invest in researchers when playing the game. Once you move to a new town, they will not be reset, which is a good thing. But you should take note that the research points needed for new items will progressively get higher, with the figures being especially high once you’re dealing with similarly higher-end items. Typically, your objective should be 30 new levels or more of research per city moved into.

5. How Can Merchants Help You Out?

You might not see much need for Merchants, considering the fact that you can manually sell your surplus items with little difficulty. But if you consider the fact that this game is an idle clicker, you’ll find out soon enough why they’re also an important part of what makes this title work. Buying more merchants allows you to maximize the profits you earn offline, and that’s something that will truly be in your best interests, as most of the magic in idle clickers takes place while you’re away.

When assigning merchants, you should have them sell your highest-value items, as that’s going to give you the best chance of maximizing the money you earn while you’re out. You still have the option to sell the items manually once you return to the game, but we noticed that the merchants are able to sell the items for a higher price, thanks to the bonuses you see in the Merchants menu.

6. When Should You Restart Your Game?

Restarting a game is Colonization Idle Clicker’s simply-named version of prestiging, which, as any idle clicker player knows, refers to the process of starting the game from square one and losing all progress, but with a few perks remaining that allows you to progress faster once you start your next play-through. We have to admit the process is a bit tricky at first in this game. Many players will likely want to restart before they reach a new fame level, but this is actually a rookie mistake — reaching a new fame level means you earn twice the income and earn twice as many points. So if you want to maximize the benefits of restarting a game, the only time you should do so is when you’ve made it to a new fame level.
