Clash of Queens: Dragons Rise Tips, Cheats & Guide: 5 Hints You Need to Know

Clash of Queens: Dragon Rise is a spinoff of Clash of Kings, as it comes to us for Android and iOS devices from Elex Wireless, the same company that gave us the latter game. It is also a MMORTS (massively multiplayer online real-time strategy) game, but this time, it centers on the female side of things, as you can see from the title. You’ll be taking part in massive clan wars, as you decide whether to fight for the honor of your queen, or betray her and go into business for yourself. You can raise a dragon, bring it with you as a pet as you take part in epic battles, and join clans and forge friendships with players from all over the world.

Like Elex Wireless’ previous title Clash of Kings, there is a ton of things you will have to learn in this game in order to master it. But we might as well start with the bare necessities, and get you started off in the right foot if you’re a newcomer. With that, let’s move forward and take you to our list of Clash of Queens tips, tricks and hints.

1. How Does This Game Differ From Other MMORTS Titles?

We did say that Clash of Queens and Clash of Kings have their share of similarities, but the former title has a huge difference that sets it apart from other MMORTS games. Other games would require you to upgrade your farms and other resource-making buildings for a good portion of the game. But in Clash of Queens, you’ll have to spend time researching new tech at the College in order to upgrade the hour rate of production for your resources.

2. How To Upgrade Your Kingdom Quickly

Want to upgrade your kingdom quickly? The easiest strategy for making quick upgrades to your kingdom is to follow the quests; you will see them show up in the bottom menu. Move on to another part of the quest once you’re able to complete one part for free. And once you’re already at the part where everything takes more than five minutes at a time to set up, you’ll have a chance to activate a free finish when the timers are at five minutes or less. Unfortunately, you won’t have a chance to use the free finishes right away, but at least you wouldn’t have to wait for that long.

3. Join A Clan Or An Alliance

Clash of Queens is an MMORTS, and that means it is imperative that you join a clan, or an alliance as it’s called, as soon as possible. Joining an alliance will get you a free alliance speed-up, allowing you to move your kingdom closer to your alliance and have more numbers on your side in case of an opposing attack. If another player attacks someone who’s part of your alliance, or attacks you, the above strategy will ensure that that player gets attacked by multiple alliance members at the same time.

4. Train More Troops

There is strength in numbers. That’s one of the main takeaways you’ll have from the battling mechanic of the game, so you have to train as many troops as you could, and have training troops stationed at your barracks, your range, and your stable. Make sure that you’re doing some advance scouting, checking other players and seeing how many troops they have and what kind of defenses are set up so you can decide how many troops are needed. And as a bonus tip, you should also make full use of your dragon, and use it as often as possible so you can gain more experience faster.

5. Attack Monsters If You’re Having Difficulty Attacking Human Opponents

Let’s face it – there may be times in this game where you’ll be having some difficulty attacking other human players and doing so successfully. Some players are indeed better and/or more experienced than others, and if you’re new, winning those battles will be a challenge. But if that’s the case, you can farm for resources and experience points by targeting the monsters on the map. These monsters stay at one place on the map, so it should be fairly easy to attack and beat them.

Of course, you should be doing this while also doing your fair share of research and training more troops. With more research comes more resources, and with more troops comes more strength in numbers, just as we had told you in the above tip.
