Yes, they actually went there. Gold Coast Apps has created a new Android and iOS game based on the (allegedly) 13-year-old troublemaker on the Dr. Phil show who has recently gone viral and turned into meme material. And of course, we’re talking about none other than the “Cash Me Outside” girl. You may recognize the game’s maker as the creator of the Damn Daniel game, which is also based on a popular meme, and just like that game, this is a casual title with simple one-touch gameplay that can be surprisingly addictive. It’s also endless, and there’s nothing to it except trying not to fall off, collecting as many gems as possible, and unlocking new characters.
You know the drill with these “easy to learn, hard to master” games – the mechanics may seem so simple and straightforward, but things can get frustrating once you’re trying to top your high score or beat your friends who may have done better than you. It doesn’t have to be that way, though, as these Cash Me Outside tips and hints are designed to help you beat those high scores and unlock more characters. For lack of a better thing to say, how ‘bout dat?
1. In Most Cases, Jump From The Edge Of The Platform
As you run around in the game, you’ll notice the platforms shifting on a regular basis. Most of the time, you should be making your leaps once you’re at the end of the platform; one of the few exception would be if you’re dealing with a particularly close platform early on in your run. And if you’re on a platform that comes with a set of descending stairs, you should wait until you’re at the bottom, or at least near the bottom, before making your jump.
2. What Can You Do With The Gems?
You can earn gems while playing the game, and unlike in most games, you have two options when it comes to spending those gems. If you’ve got at least 500 gems, you can go ahead and buy a new character. They’ll play exactly the same way as the titular Cash Me Outside girl, but having some variety helps, especially if you’ve had more than your fill of Cash Me Outside memes for one day. A better idea may be to save up until you’ve got 2,000 gems, as that will allow you to unlock a new level. The game comes with three unlockable levels, though we would expect that Gold Coast will be launching new unlockable levels at some time in the future.
3. Turn Off The Ads
Cash Me Outside can be played without an Internet connection, and as you may know, we usually advise players to play online to at least do the developers a favor, or watch their ads and get some rewards in return. But going on runs is the only way for you to earn gems in here, and the ads that pop up can be annoying. Still, you can get rid of those ads while online by tapping on the upper left of your screen, hitting the Cancel button, and hitting the X on the next two screens. And since that’s a multi-step process that may take up some time, you can choose to play offline as we teased at the start of this tip.
4. Don’t Mind The Super-High Scores
You can see how well you’re doing compared to other players by going to the Game Center or Google Play leaderboards. This is good if you don’t have any friends who play the game and you’re tired of trying to beat your own score, or if you’ve outdone your friends repeatedly and want to see how you compare to other players from around the world. Just make sure to ignore the abnormally high scores, as these are usually the result of somebody hacking the game. Try scrolling down a bit and you’ll see some realistic high scores that you can try chasing instead.
