Call of Duty Mobile has been on everyone’s radar for a while now. Its beta test has just wrapped up, and after some refining, the game is ready for its worldwide debut. Activision, in collaboration with Tencent, has just confirmed the official release date of Call of Duty Mobile. The game is set to be launched on October 1 in all territories with the exception of mainland China, Vietnam, and Belgium.
Call of Duty Mobile will feature most of the game modes from its predecessors in the series. This includes classics like Team Deathmatch, Search and Destroy, and Free-For-All. Familiar maps will also be used in the said modes, including Crash, Crossfire, Hijacked, and of course, Nuketown. Players will also be able to unlock their favorite characters like Soap, Ghost, and Alex Mason.
A new game mode that is only available on the mobile version is Battle Royale. Not even the upcoming PC and console releases will have this mode. For those who are fans of the genre, Call of Duty Mobile’s Battle Royale mode has its own map where up to 100 players can duke it out until only one survives. Players can queue up solo, with a partner, or in teams of four.
Call of Duty Mobile will be released on the App Store and Google Play. Players can pre-register for the game through the official website.
