Bubble Genius Tips, Tricks & Cheats to Complete More Three-Star Levels

Outplay Entertainment’s Bubble Genius is a new bubble-popping mobile game, which comes with a backstory of sorts, as “brilliant inventor” Penny’s bubble generator has been stolen by a rival scientist named Vee, who is trapping all sorts of items – and people – in town in “massive” bubbles. The game’s features include five distinct gameplay styles, multi-stage levels, boss battles, and the ability to string together multi-pop streaks and the usual ability to pull off some “trick shots,” if you can call them that.

Ready to start popping bubbles, saving critters, and outwitting your rival scientist? If you are, then make sure you read Level Winner’s exclusive list of Bubble Genius tips, tricks and cheats if you want to complete more three-star levels.

1. It’s About Combo-Stringing

Bubble Genius, to be honest, isn’t that different from other games of its kind. Like those games, the best shots are the ones that come about as “trick shots,” meaning those “where the heck did those come from?” shots that seem to defy the laws of physics. These take a bit of practice, but what you want to do here is angle you shots properly so you can string together a combo – that’s one burst leading to several others, as you burst bubbles where there are several other bubbles hanging from them. String together those combos so you can complete levels with the minimum number of moves.

As a bonus tip, make good use of the free power-ups that appear on occasion, as they may be able to get you out of a tight spot.

2. Get Free Gold, Here’s How

Connecting the game to Facebook (a little more on that later) is the best way to be rewarded with free gold. You can also complete certain objectives in levels or in-game achievements to get free gold in the game. As for spending that gold, you can use it to buy power-ups or lives, though we’d suggest spending them exclusively on power-ups, due to the tip we’ll be discussing next.

3. Use The Time Lapse Cheat

Ah, the good old time lapse, it’s back again, and we haven’t forgotten it. Once all of you five lives have been used up, either by losing or by quitting a level in the middle, the default option is to wait for close to two hours for your lives to return. It takes 20 minutes for one life to generate, and if you come to think of it, 100 minutes is quite a while. But you can always set the time ahead by 100 minutes/an hour and 40 minutes, or to be safe, two hours. Return to the game and you can continue playing again with a full set of lives.

4. How Can You Get More Lives If You Don’t Want To Cheat?

If you want to play the game the 100 percent honest way, you also can ask your friends for lives if you’ve got your game connected to Facebook. That is, of course, if you have other friends who play Bubble Genius. And if you want, you can create a separate Facebook account for games if you don’t want to pester your friends for lives, or to join you in playing.

I don't understand how you earn stars. I get all the points and the indicator goes all the way over to indicate full amount of points. But, only 2 stars. Please explain this feature.
