BitLife Online Troll Challenge Guide: How to Complete the Online Troll Challenge

At this point, we’re still not 100 percent sure when BitLife’s next big update is coming, so if you’re not actively trying to collect more DogLife and CatLife ribbons, chances are you’re waiting for the weekend (or the start of the new week) to complete the next BitLife challenge. These limited-time events seem to be what keeps players coming back for more, and while some challenges may be easier than others, the idea remains the same — complete a list of tasks or requirements based on a given theme.

This week’s BitLife challenge is more on the general side of things, as it relates to something that a lot of us encounter while going through social media, and especially through the comment sections of various posts on different platforms.

The Online Troll Challenge will test your ability to be the ultimate internet nuisance, while being famous at the same time — can you become a viral hit on multiple occasions and, once you reach celebrity status, spend your time picking on everyone from regular guys like your friends to some of the top real-life celebrities included in the BitLife database? That’s the goal of the Online Troll Challenge, and this BitLife strategy guide will show you how to complete this challenge with as little rework as possible.

Becoming Internet Famous Could Take Some Time

When creating a character for BitLife’s Online Troll Challenge, you don’t need to make them exceptionally smart, and you can make your character male or female, with no specific city or country of birth. You can keep re-rolling until you get a character with good (70 and above) Looks, as that could help increase your chances of going viral on social media, but for the most part, this is optional — to be on the safe side, we’d suggest aiming fo 50 Looks or better.

Once you turn 13, that’s when you can start opening social media accounts, and since the first, and most difficult objective in the Online Troll Challenge is to become famous on social media, we would recommend opening all five platforms and posting at least thrice per year on each platform. Stick to the type of content that gets a lot of views and has the most potential of going viral, as we’ve explained in previous challenges, and mix up your content every now and then.

Typically, random videos, dance videos, challenge videos, BitLife and other gaming videos, and sexy shots/thirst traps have the best odds of becoming viral hits. By all means, avoid sharing family photos, as the BitLife universe tends to find them too sappy, and avoid anything political or social justice-related; just like in real life, such posts tend to be divisive and could also cost you a good number of followers.

You may need multiple viral hits across more than one platform to become famous on social media, but aside from that, you’ll also have to do your share of product endorsements once your accounts become large enough to allow for such content.

The types of products you can endorse tend to be random, but the same general rules we told you about previously are still valid. Stick to promoting clothing, perfume, and other fashion items, food items (as long as they aren’t too weird), and entertainment-centric businesses such as radio stations, and you should gain followers through your endorsement.

Conversely, avoid anything that might sound too unsexy or controversial for a social media plug — banks, loans, tires and other car parts, and home appliances. Most adult-oriented products aren’t recommended either, so do keep that in mind as well. Promoting these products could result in a loss of followers, so stick to what “normal” people would expect their influencers to plug!

It’s going to be a bit of a grind, and there doesn’t seem to be any cheat code of sorts to help you go viral or become a famous influencer sooner rather than later. But just as long as you’re consistently posting appealing content and endorsing products that aren’t too boring, controversial, or weird, you should become internet famous at some point during young adulthood. (Our test character became famous at age 30, so that’s 17 years of grinding from the time he opened his social media accounts!)

Make Sure You Have Enough Friends to Troll

Next up are the online trolling requirements, and fortunately, this is much easier and faster than the whole process of becoming a famous social media influencer.  The only thing you need to make sure of is that you’ve made at least ten friends in your lifetime before you start trolling — it’s best if you start making friends as early on as possible, and spending some time with them every other year or so (at least) so that they don’t end up unfriending you later in life.

Of course, there is the possibility they will unfriend you after you troll them on social media, but the fact that you trolled them will count toward the requirement that you troll at least ten friends.

When trolling people on social media, you can only do this on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter — the option is not available on TikTok and YouTube, though as we all know, it’s possible to troll people on those platforms in the real world.

You can take note of the names of the friends you’ve trolled so that you don’t unnecessarily repeat, though we’re pretty sure we got credited for this requirement despite trolling the same friend twice. Either way, this should be much simpler than the grinding process we detailed earlier for becoming internet famous.

What’s even simpler than the process of trolling your friends is the process of trolling celebrities — just pick three at random that pop up among the options in the dialog box, and you’re set!

Save Everything Else For Later

The last two requirements in the Online Troll Challenge are the ones that may have unpleasant effects on your in-game health, so we would recommend working on them after you’ve completed all the other requirements. These would be the ones that require you to troll BitLife five times and go on a Hot Cheetos diet, and as you’ll find out, there are consequences with these tasks that might make it a bit harder for you to continue your character’s life once the challenge is completed.

When you troll NPCs like friends, family, and even other users who trolled you first, it’s easy to avoid further trouble — block the user if they start challenging you to a fight by asking you to meet somewhere, or simply ignore them. But when it comes to the in-game BitLife account itself, your trolling actions won’t go unpunished, and that could mean a variety of embarrassing illnesses, from diarrhea to erectile dysfunction.

Fortunately, we haven’t encountered any instances of characters getting life-threatening conditions as a consequence of trolling BitLife, but some of these situations may not be ideal if you’re planning to complete your character’s life beyond the scope of the Online Troll Challenge.

As for the Hot Cheetos diet, staying on this diet for an extended period of time will have a noticeably negative effect on your Health and Looks, so instead of getting on the diet early on in the challenge, it’s best to save this for the very last — you will be credited the moment you go on the diet, and once that happens, that should wrap things up for the Online Troll Challenge and allow you to grab the usual new hat or eyewear as your prize for completing all the tasks/requirements.
