BitLife Legally Blonde Challenge Guide: How to Complete the Legally Blonde Challenge

Candywriter’s BitLife is still a huge hit among players in its third year, and at this point, we don’t know if we’re going to see any major updates — the company has just released DogLife, and it might be more realistic to expect a proper sequel to BitLife, whenever that may be. But there’s a reason why iOS and Android users keep coming back to the game, and that’s the weekly challenges that give players slightly more than half a week to complete certain tasks based on the week’s given theme.

If you thought the My Way Challenge from a couple weeks ago was too hard, or if you thought last week’s Friend to Foe Challenge was too easy (or too violent), then you’ll be glad to know that Candywriter has chosen something nice and wholesome and not too challenging, while also tipping its hat to yet another pop culture mainstay.

This week’s challenge pays tribute to an iconic comedy film that turned 20 years old earlier this year, and as its name suggests, the Legally Blonde Challenge allows you to live your virtual life like Reese Witherspoon’s character Elle Woods — though thankfully, you don’t need to reject your ex if he tries to get back with you. (That can be quite hard to pull off in the BitLife universe!) But if you need some help finishing this challenge, we’ve got it for you in this brand new BitLife mini-strategy guide.

Getting Started – Keep Rolling Till You Get Beauty And Brains

The Legally Blonde Challenge’s first requirement is very easy, and that is to create a female character born in California. It would seem that California has the most cities represented in BitLife, so the choice is yours — you can set your character’s birthplace to Compton, Los Angeles, Oakland, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, or San Jose. It all boils down to personal preference here, but if you don’t have God Mode enabled, that’s where you may need to be patient after selecting your character’s birth country and city.

Due to the requirements of the Legally Blonde Challenge, we strongly recommend creating a character with at least 60-70 Smarts and at least 80 Looks — the former stat can be boosted by reading books, going to the library, and joining clubs in school, while the latter can be improved by going to the gym, which is free until you reach the age of 18. Other forms of physical activity may help here as well, and that includes joining one of your school’s sports teams if you’re athletic enough.

Of course, since you’ll be attending college, then law school, it is imperative that you stay out of any kind of trouble and keep your grades as high as possible by choosing the Study Harder option. When it comes to your college course, Criminal Justice is a good choice as a pre-law major, though you might not get this among the options right away — as such, some quitting and restarting may be needed.

You Need Solid Popularity In Order To Join A Sorority

While in college, you’ll need to join a sorority to complete the second requirement in BitLife’s Legally Blonde Challenge, and that means having decent Popularity or better to even get consideration for acceptance. Don’t worry if you aren’t popular enough to join most, if not all sororities during your freshman year — we would suggest joining a club or a clique, as both can boost your Popularity over time while you’re in school. Even the less popular cliques such as Brainy Kids and Nerds can raise your Popularity in a year or two, so don’t sweat it if the only clique you qualify for isn’t exactly on the up-and-up!

Your “hazing” at the sorority would, just as usual, involve trivia questions about Greek mythology. A lot of the questions should be pretty easy, but in case you’re stuck with the question you were given, you can either Google the answer…or quit the game, restart it, try joining that same sorority again, and hope for a question whose answer you actually know.

How To Boost Your Looks To 100 Percent Before Law School

In the spirit of the movie that inspired it, it isn’t enough that you get accepted to law school in the Legally Blonde Challenge — you need to get accepted at a point where your Looks are at a perfect 100 percent. If you got lucky and rolled a character with 90 percent Looks at birth, this should be easy — a few trips to the gym (the Looks boost only works once per year) should do the trick.

But if you started out with your Looks slightly lower than 90 percent, then the best thing to do may be to get a part-time job in high school so you could have enough money to pay for plastic surgery when the time comes to enter law school.

Granted, the stress of juggling school with part-time work may compromise your Looks a bit, but the drop-off shouldn’t be too bad unless your Stress levels reach the red zone. We would suggest looking for the job that pays the most for the fewest hours — technically, you can start looking for part-time work at 15, but most of the jobs become available once you reach the age of 16.

When choosing a doctor to do your plastic surgery, always choose the one with the best Reputation, preferably one with their Reputation bar filled up to about 75 percent or greater. If you don’t see anyone reputable enough to perform the operation, you can quit the game and restart it to get a fresh pair of doctors.

You can also use the old quit-and-restart technique if the operation is successful and your Looks aren’t at 100 percent just yet, or have another, cheaper procedure done to make up the difference. Either way, the money you earned through part-time work (we’d suggest leaving the job once you’ve got about $50,000 in your bank balance) should be enough to cover it.

Buy A Chihuahua, Then Rename It

The last step in the Legally Blonde Challenge is also the easiest one that doesn’t involve character creation, and all you need to do here is to go to the Pets menu under Activities, head to the Dog Breeder section, and buy a chihuahua — we did not specify a gender above for good reason, and that’s because you can buy a male or a female chihuahua, just as long as you rename him or her Bruiser afterward.

That’s all there is to it, and we would recommend making this the very last requirement before completing the challenge. You wouldn’t want to buy this the moment you can afford it, as there’s always the random possibility the dog may die before the challenge is completed, thus nullifying the requirement.

Take care of this one little thing and you’re good to go — you’ve completed the Legally Blonde Challenge, and you can unlock a new hat or eyewear by tapping on one of the four prize chests.
