BitLife Hard-Knock Nun Challenge Guide: How to Complete the Hard-Knock Nun Challenge

Candywriter has huge things planned for BitLife this 2022, but in order to whet the appetite of iOS and Android players while waiting for the next updates to arrive, the company is still keeping players busy on the weekend (and the first few days of the new week) with its weekly challenges.

These may run the gamut from Candywriter original to tribute to popular memes to challenge based on movie, TV show, or entertainer, and these may also include the more traditional, laid-back challenges that contain little pop culture goodness, if any at all. but in any case, you’ll have four days to complete all the requirements.

This week’s challenge is, for the second straight week, a throwback to a simpler time in BitLife challenge history, one where Candywriter would create challenges without having to stuff them with all sorts of pop culture references. The Hard-Knock Nun Challenge is another one of those “classic”-style challenges, and your goal is to create a seemingly holy character who “works” as a Nun — but finds a different, and far more illegal way to add to her bank balance.

So if you’re looking for some assistance in completing the Hard-Knock Nun Challenge at the soonest possible time, and definitely before the challenge expires, be sure to keep on reading this BitLife mini-strategy guide.

Starting Out – Only Female Bitizens Can Be Nuns

It isn’t explicitly stated in the requirements, but in order to proceed with the Hard-Knock Nun Challenge and eventually complete it, you will need to create a female character, because the Nun job is only available to female Bitizens. That aside, there are no requirements in terms of Looks, Smarts, or any other statistic — you don’t even have to select Crime as a Special Skill if you have God Mode enabled. Likewise, there’s no need to make sure that your character stays out of trouble in school, as long as it isn’t too much trouble.

You can apply to enter the convent as a Nun once you reach the age of 18, but just as we’ve observed so many times before, BitLife seems to make it rarer than usual for Nun to pop up among the available jobs you can apply for. That means you may need to quit the game and restart it a good number of times before Nun becomes available, and even then, you’ll need to go through the usual job interview process. Still, this is a fairly easy task, as are the other ones included in this challenge.

Avoid Stealing Expensive Cars!

The Hard-Knock Nun Challenge is all about being the worst kind of nun you can possibly be, and that’s one who steals things and kills people. Once again, there’s no need to choose Crime as a Special Skill, as there is a trick to stealing cars that could increase your chances of successfully pulling it off.

That trick is to focus on less expensive cars, as these tend to be easier to steal than the sports cars and luxury cars. Of course, there is a chance that someone may still catch you, but you can always quit the game and restart it and try the whole thing again with a fresh set of cars to choose from.

In the example above, the list of “vulnerable” cars in the lot includes a Mazda Miata, a Ford Bronco, a Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, a BMW 3-Series, and a Lexus IS-500. The Miata is the cheapest of those five cars (unless the others have a good amount of wear and tear in them), so that’s the vehicle you want to steal for the best odds of stealing a car without getting caught.

Burglary And Drive-By Murder Are Also Easy And Self-Explanatory

Like the car theft process we described above, you can start breaking into houses at any time after you get accepted as a Nun. Unlike the deal with vehicles, there isn’t a workaround that can make it easier for you to burgle a house.

You may spot some rich targets or not-so-rich targets, the person who owns the house may or may not be inside, and there may be one or two dogs. The cops may also enter the equation, but they shouldn’t make an appearance while you’re doing this BitLife challenge, as you only need to burgle three houses to complete the requirement.

Drive-by shootings are usually the most effective way of killing people in BitLife without risking an arrest. But here’s another thing you can try to decrease the odds of getting busted by the cops — try targeting random people instead of people from work or family members.

There’s a possibility, naturally, that you may be handcuffed and taken to court after you complete the drive-by shooting, but that’s why quitting the game before confirming your choices or the next scenario, and restarting is still a great way to avoid such a scenario taking place.

Don’t Worry About The Meditate Task Not Getting Checked Yet

The last requirement in the Hard-Knock Nun Challenge is to always meditate after committing a crime, but you may be concerned due to the lack of a check mark, even if you’ve been paying close attention and making sure to meditate right after breaking into a house, stealing a car, or killing someone.

Don’t worry about that one — after you committed the last crime required by the challenge, you will be credited as having completed the challenge, thus confirming that you were indeed doing the right thing by meditating after a crime.

Complete the challenge and just as you always will, you will be given a chance to choose one out of four prize chests so that you can claim your “mystery prize,” meaning a new pair of eyeglasses/shades era new hat. These accessories, once unlocked, can be used on your own characters or on NPCs, so keep on playing those challenges for more variety to character appearance!
