Zenonia S: Rifts In Time Tips, Cheats & Tricks to Dominate Your Competition

Gamevil has released another chapter in the Zenonia franchise, and it’s called Zenonia S: Rifts In Time. In this installment of the popular iOS and Android RPG, you’ll be travelling across nine “treacherous” realms to “uncover the mystery behind the portal,” and as usual, you’ll get to fight monsters and team up with other players from all over the world as you explore the in-game universe together. There are five classes to choose from when creating your hero, and you can customize him or her with more than 300 different choices of equipment. And there’s the enhancement option that allows you to make your weapons and armor even better.

All in all, the features of this game aren’t exactly unique as compared to other RPGs, but it is the newest chapter in a popular franchise. And if you’re new to the Zenonia series, we recommend that you check out our list of Zenonia S: Rifts In Time tips and tricks to help you make a smooth transition and pick up the game quickly.

1. Make Good Use Of Your Two Character Slots

The game allows you to create two characters for free; otherwise, you’ll have to pay 100 Zen for each of the two additional slots you can add. That said, you’ll only go through tutorial mode once, and that’s with your first character. Once you’ve created that character, try out the others and stick to the one which one you prefer the most; the game will suggest characters depending on your level of experience, though at the end of the day, it’s all up to you.

2. How To Farm For XP

Normally, you’ll want to fight your enemies manually, because there are just some things (or a lot of things) Auto Battle mode wouldn’t be able to cover. But you will definitely want to use Auto Battle if your goal is to farm for experience points. Use this feature on levels where you believe you can easily defeat the enemy, and the battle will speed up, with your hero using the AI’s battle tactics.

A second way to farm for XP would be to use your sweep tickets to sweep a level that you’ve already completed. This serves as a bit of a twist, as many RPGs let players replay completed levels without the need of any tickets.

3. Seek Out The Game’s NPCs

Although, you’ll generally encounter a lot of people in town who are actually other real-life players, there are others who are non-playing characters that are part of the game. These characters will have a conversation bubble over their head once you approach them, and once you see that bubble, tap on the character and see what they want. Sometimes they may be giving you some advice, other times they may be selling you something.

4. Upgrade / Unlock New Skills After Gaining A Level

Once you gain a level in the game, you’ll earn stat increases and skill points. Visit the skill screen so you can unlock new skills and upgrade the ones you already have, may they be active or passive. The active skills may seem like the ones you should focus on, but passive skills are actually more important as they quietly increase your base stats, regardless of your equipment.
