WWE Mayhem is the latest wrestling themed arcade action game for Android and iOS devices. In Reliance Big Entertainment’s new game you get to play as one of the legendary wrestlers of WWE. That includes John Cena, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and even old school Andre the Giant! There are six character classes to choose from, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. You can choose whether you want to be a Brawler, High Flyer, Powerhouse, Technician, Wildcard, or Showman. It all depends on the kind of wrestling superstar you want to be. 1. Don’t Punch Through Blocks
In any real battle, you must learn how to conserve your stamina. Wasting energy on trying to break through someone’s defense will only get you in trouble. This is especially true in this game because players can block for an extended amount of time. If you keep punching while the other player is blocking, you will end up exhausting your character without dealing much damage. Your character will eventually run out of breath, and will be stunned for a second. That one second is all your opponent needs to launch a full combo attack.
Instead of punching relentlessly, just stop and wait as soon as you realize that you opponent is blocking. He will eventually have to put his guard down in order to attack. Wait for that moment before you strike again. Of course, you could also try the turtle tactic yourself. If you notice that your opponent is recklessly aggressive, just keep blocking until he exhausts himself. Once he is stunned, counter with your own flurry of hits.
2. Take Note Of Character Classes
As we mentioned before, there are several classes available for you to choose from. While there is no best class, there is class circle that shows the relationship between all of them. Brawlers are stronger than Wildcards. Wildcards are stronger than Technicians. Technicians are stronger than Powerhouses. Power houses are stronger than High Flyers. High Flyers are stronger than Showmen. Lastly, Showmen are stronger than Brawlers.
There is always one class that is stronger, and one that is weaker, than what you are using. Just keep these relationships in mind when picking your character. The good news is that the game will help you out with this. If you have a wrestler that has a class advantage, the game will automatically select this before the match. If you don’t have a wrestler with an advantage, the game will choose the best wrestler you have that is not at a disadvantage. Your job will then be to make sure you have a wrestler from each class.
3. Timing Is Everything
While you are in battle, you will be filling up the gauge of your special move. Once the gauge is full, you can activate your signature special move. However, just because you can activate it doesn’t mean you should. Make sure you time your special move perfectly. If you just randomly activate it, your opponent can actually interrupt your special move, wasting all the time you spent to fill up your gauge.
The best time to activate your special move is to weave it into your usual combo. Not only will you be able to throw in additional damage, you will also be able to ensure that your special move will hit your target. Another chance for you to execute your special move is when your opponent is stunned. Just wait for the right moment, and you will be able to unleash your special moves without a hitch.
4. Use Synergies To Your Advantage
Aside from the class types, there are also certain characters in the game that work well together. When wrestlers on your team have good synergy, they will gain a boost. For example, if you have Kevin Owens on your team, you might want to add AJ Styles as well. When you do, your team will gain 5% more critical hit chance. Pay attention to the different synergies your characters have, and use them to your advantage.
