Leading a club to win championships is a fantasy of every true-blue football fan. While everyone can dream that, only the special ones have the brilliance to call the shots, recognize potential stars, and manage a nameless team to become a dominant force on the pitch.
If you think you have what it takes and you just came across Top Eleven 2024, then you found the right playing field!
Nordeus, the developer of Top Eleven, has seen success since the game was released way back in May 2010. In 13 years, it has evolved to what it is today: a multiplayer, mobile-based football management game that features a neat balance of the usual matters one can expect in the genre.
Usually, football fans are drawn to games that represent the sport because of the possibility of being in command of their favorite superstars. Top Eleven doesn’t have that element since all teams and players are fictional. But why is it exactly able to stand against the likes of Football Manager Mobile and Soccer Manager Mobile?
The answer is simple: it picks up the strengths of those two titles, maintains the challenges of managing a club, and presents a sweeter taste of victory because you will primarily compete with other human players.
As a PVP game, you need to outdo other clubs in terms of quality and preparation and all the management duties that are behind that, training, recruiting players, setting tactics and formations, as well keeping your team in good physical and mental Condition.
You must put enough effort to keep your team sharp and make intelligent decisions as you run your club. Resources are limited but earnable and to make your club shine through those limits is what we aim to help you with in this guide.
Football Manager’s 2023 version is no different from last year’s offering and very likely what we will share here would remain applicable for the next versions, so we hope you’re ready to absorb as much information as possible.
Let’s now jump to the pitch of knowledge and get on the matters that will push you to secure the 1st place in Top Eleven 2024! While this article is mainly for beginners, feel free to hang around if you’re a returning Top Eleven veteran since this is a good opportunity to get you aligned with how the game is now.
1. BE FAMILIAR WITH EACH SECTION AND THEIR FUNCTIONS
To those who have played Football Manager Mobile, Soccer Manager Mobile, or even previous versions of Top Eleven, the home screen layout will look familiar with the expandable main menu placed on the left-hand side. Like in every football management game, the menu and the available options may appear overwhelming at first.
For a beginner, the focus should be on the Assistant and every single option with a notification marker, a blue box with an exclamation mark. Below are what you can check for every option in the Home screen and main menu.
1.1 Assistant Report
This is a one-stop shop in Top Eleven 2024 for everything that needs your attention. The Assistant Report will curate all alerts about players (Morale changes, acquisition, injuries, and contract alerts), the Club (status and availability of facility upgrades), sponsorships, and many other nifty functions.
Assistants in other football management games tend to primarily focus on match suggestions; in Top Eleven the counterpart feature mainly acts as an all-seeing secretary. As long as you will not let any notifications go unnoticed, you’ll have the peace of mind that your club is being managed right.
1.2 Squad
This section defaults to the pitch view or the Formation tab. On top, you will see it with two other tabs, Lineup and Tactics. Most of your preparation and management duties will be done here.
Lineup
This tab lists everyone on your roster. It defaults to the General view which gives basic information on your players like their age, Special Ability, status (booking and injury), Condition, and Morale. Clicking on a column name will sort your lineup accordingly making it the quickest way to observe how balanced your team is and detect areas of weaknesses.
The Stats view has columns for MP (matches played), YC (yellow cards), RC (direct red cards), G (goals), A (assists), MOM (Man of the Match awards earned), and QLTY (current quality or star rating).
The Form view shows each player’s skill ratings for Defense, Attack, Physical, and their form in the 5 previous matches.
The Contract view offers an overview of transfer status, remaining years of contracts, monthly wage, and market value of your players. You will have little need to visit this view since renewing contracts will not be a problem if you open the game at least once a day because your Assistant Manager will notify you of any expiring contracts.
Formation
This is the interface where you can manually position players on the pitch to follow a strategic formation you have in mind. You can slightly alter the height of positions which is key in some tactics.

Players need not be set perfectly aligned horizontally or vertically; as long as you cluster them in the vertical presets of their positions, setting someone slightly off toward the right or left flank won’t matter.
The Formation view is also where you rearrange your lineup, who goes in your first team, who attends the next match as substitutes, and who sits out as reserves. You have to manually drag a player on the exact marker of whom you want them to replace, be it on the pitch or the backups.
Tapping on a player does the same thing when browsing within lineup view, it lets you check the full details of a player and address any health, Morale, or Condition issues.
On the right side of the screen, there are four buttons. From top to bottom, their functions are as follows:
Mentality – allows you to instruct a player on how much you want him involved in offense (green arrow) and defense (red arrow). Putting someone in a neutral setting (no arrows) will mean that you are letting the AI fully take over and make the player attack or defend based on his numbers in Physical & Mental skills.
Roles/Condition and Morale – toggling here gives you a quick view of how physically and mentally prepared the players are by showing their stamina bar and a Morale arrow.
Opponent – a tool favored by advanced players, this gives you the real-time formation and lineup in effect for whoever your opponent is on your next fixture. The intel it offers allows you to make adjustments and see any weaknesses you can take advantage of or strengths you must neutralize.
Set Piece – opens slot assignments where you can set who among your First Team will be the captain, set piece takers, and penalty kick-off takers.
Tactics
This interface presents options that let you influence your team’s offensive and defensive approaches. Together with the Formation tab, it is the other control point that remains accessible when you’re in a match.
Although what you set here will be mainly treated by the game as “suggestions” (meaning your players will not strictly adhere to them), tweaking the selections can complete your recipe for victory rather than just being icing on the cake.
Tactics support the effectiveness of your formation and allow specific positions to shine. For example, if your key players belong to the right flank, you can set Focus Passing to that side. Meanwhile, if your midfielders are your assets, turning Forced Counter-Attacks off will allow them time to move up and get involved in framing finishes.
1.3 Training
The section you must regularly visit, Training is where you pick drills to build the four bonuses that you can trigger in a match: Attacking, Defending, Possession, and Conditioning. You can check them out to learn more by exploring the Bonuses view.
When you open Select Drills, you will see three training categories: Attack, Defense, and Physical & Mental. In a fresh account, you will only have access to the first two types in each category and you can only select up to three drills per session. To unlock more drills and slots, you have to reach higher training levels which should come naturally as you regularly train your team.
The other functions within the Training menu are the Physio Centre (fastest way to check Condition), Quick Training (preset drills amounting to more or less 3%/6%/9% stamina), Reports (historical data of training sessions), and Player Academy (expensive enhancements for players).
1.4 Transfers
Perhaps one of the most exciting features of Top Eleven 2024. This is where you recruit players to join your club. Unlike in Football Manager Mobile and Soccer Manager Mobile, there is no free agency in Top Eleven 2024 where you can get players for cheap; the most economical way to custom-fill your roster is to win in Auctions.
Scouting offers a sure way to acquire star players if you’re willing to invest real currency in the game, Negotiations only opens at the tail end of a regular season and requires you to reach account level 4 first, and Assistant presents a position-specific player which refreshes daily.
Before we proceed to the other main menu items, we’d like to note that the next ones (except for Fixtures) are rather auxiliaries; you can thrive even without actively interacting with them as one would with the first four. As such, if you’re here for tips, feel free to jump to section 2 of this guide.
1.5 Youth Academy
As soon as you build a level 1 Youth Academy, this feature gets unlocked. On the third day of every new season, a handful of recruits will show up based on the positions you will actively select. The quality of recruits varies and the chances of getting good ones are initially low; you must upgrade your Youth Academy to fish for more promising prospects.
Its main purpose is to ensure that by next season, you will have a few players that you can recruit at no Token cost. The ratings of the recruits may be low while you’re on the season that they are still training but their numbers are already optimized or fixed shall you get promoted to a higher league.
1.6 Fixtures
This feature serves as your activity calendar; you can view your schedule for the entire season in it. The entries will dynamically adjust based on your progression in fixtures where teams can be eliminated like the Champions League, Super League, and the Cup.
It is important to check here to see how many matches you have on certain days and how much preparation you need or can set in case of a limited time window. Fixtures also allow you to reschedule matches that show a pencil icon.
1.7 Leagues, Champions League/Super League, and Cup
The League menu will show the table of your current league. You need to be part of the top eight to be promoted to a higher league, so browsing here every now and then lets you assess how many points you need to improve or maintain your current standing.
The secondary league will only be available to managers who finish within the top 8 of the previous season’s League. Those who placed 1st to 4th will play in the Champion’s League; 5th to 8th, it’s the Super League.
Teams will be clustered in groups of four and the top two in each will progress to the next round which follows a knockout format ladder. Standings will be tabulated in the same way they are in Leagues.
Meanwhile, the Cup starts outright with a knockout format and all clubs are automatic participants, regardless of their performance in the previous Season.
1.8 Events
This menu is simply a focused view of the events you already get a preview of in the Home Overview screen. The set of available events changes weekly and taking note of what you can view here will help you be familiar with how Top Eleven 2024 cycles them every month. It will also give a teaser for any special events and announcements.
The ones you should pay attention to are the Hot Shots, Penalty Clash, Video Drills, and timed story events where you can get awesome bonuses like Playstyle Points, attribute increases, currencies, and even a new player.
1.9 Associations
Top Eleven 2024 has a clan/guild dynamic through Associations. You will be able to start or join one once you reach Training Level 6.
If you’re a newbie, we suggest joining one so you can team up with other players who you can instantly add as friends. Associations can participate in tournaments where top placers of their respective divisions get to earn a hefty amount of Rests, Treatments, and Morale Boosters.
Association matches are treated in the same way as Friendly matches, which means that Condition consumption, fouls, and injuries won’t reflect after. However, the Morale and Condition of your players before an association match will be considered as is, so you will have to prep them up as usual.
1.10 Club and Manager
These sections house vanity features, achievements, trophies, current season progress, and overall track record for the account. They also offer some opportunities to earn resources.
The Club section is the area for cosmetics and is mainly useful when you wish to edit some details, change emblems or jerseys, and browse stats that showcase your performance in League and Cup runs.
Since you can only select two jerseys (home and away) and one emblem at a time, you can opt to sell the ones you don’t wish to keep. Emblems and jerseys won from events can be sold for 1 Token each, making it an extra pocket you can pull Tokens from for when you absolutely need some.
The Manager section allows you to set a profile picture, edit your display name, and claim titles for accomplishing feats. You can scroll sideways to see your trophy cabinet, referral tasks statuses, and the achievements you have earned in your account.
If you can invite friends and encourage them to be active in Top Eleven 2024 too, the friend referral tasks here will also net you varying rewards.
1.11 Finances
Apart from letting you track your financial gains and spending, this section also shows your current partners for Jersey Sponsorship and TV Rights and all the options for each. Those features serve as your main supply plan for cash and Tokens in a Season, respectively.
Tapping on the Special Sponsor above the Assistant in the Home screen will lead you to another feature within Finances, the Sponsor Rewards. This is what serves as the battle pass in Top Manager, which, like everywhere else, has a set of tasks that will give progress to reach checkpoints or levels to earn certain rewards.
Incredible perks such as instant unlocking of a new position or Special Ability, On-Fire Morale, Academy Coaches, and Training-related boosts are up for grabs. Currencies and vanity items also await you on some levels. The max level in the Special Sponsor is 20, but even if you can only rake in 11 to 14 each Season, that is already a substantial help.
There is also a tab where you can set a win bonus for your players and adjust the ticket prices for your home matches across all fixture types. Allotting a win bonus apparently helps with motivation (Morale) and increasing ticket prices will mean more income.
We have set a $40k bonus since we were in League 2 and we have only progressed up to League 6 in making this guide. As of yet, we cannot vouch if it actually works, perhaps it will at max League level and higher amounts. Letting go of a small amount per win would not hurt your club’s finances anyway, so if it does help with Morale, it’s only right to enable it.
1.11 Ground
If you wish to browse the facilities of your club and check their current levels, this is where you must go. The thing with Top Eleven 2024 is that you cannot focus upgrade just one or a few facilities because pushing further upgrades for a particular structure requires the equivalent leveling up of all the others.
Each facility brings relative benefits to your club, so a uniform improvement makes total sense. Note, though, that only one upgrade can be pending at a time and further upgrades will take days, thus furthering the slow-grind element of Top Eleven 2024.
2. STUDY YOUR ROSTER TO KNOW YOUR EARLY-GAME EDGE
Right after you finish the mandatory tutorial with Jose Mourinho, spend time inspecting your squad. Check which positions you have substitutes for, see who your strongest and weakest players are, and then get an estimate of the ones you are likely to keep for the next seasons.
Knowing the positions of your better players lets you work from your team’s initial building blocks. For example, if your first superstars are Strikers, you will want to recruit competent attacking midfielders (AMC/AML/AMR) to help with upfield ball delivery. Naturally, since you would need to buff your team’s goal-scoring potential, you must seek to prioritize increasing the Attack bonus from training.
Beyond banking on the players with better ratings, you may notice that a handful of your base roster have Playstyles. You can take advantage of these Playstyles once you get to unlock them for all who are eligible to develop one.
Activating Playstyles will take time because players have to earn enough Playstyle Points and fill a certain bar; unlocking it will require 300 Playstyle points. Further upgrades will require more and you will have to wait for the week of the month when the Hot Shots event is available to push anyone’s Playstyle level beyond Standard.
Remember that not all players can develop one. In general, it is more of a good-to-have but never a mandatory recipe for success. Playstyles can be seen as tendencies and they do exactly as what each of them says.
Focus on your players with more stars or better quality; it would do you good to constantly field them so they can benefit from match rewards. Ultimately, you can gauge a player’s mileage with their ratings, age, and how rich their attributes are. Visit your Squad section to get acquainted with your roster.
3. SELECT SUITABLE FORMATIONS AND TACTICS
Setting formations and tactics in Top Eleven 2024 is more like drawing a picture from scratch; there are no instant presets, canned setups prepared by the Assistant Manager, nor an exhaustive array of selections for tactics.
Take time to read the tooltip for every option in the Tactics view as they are direct. Note, however, that among all of the eight tactical modifiers, only the Offside Trap selector is the absolute one and the rest merely serve as an outline; players, from time to time, will veer away depending on their attributes, Morale, and the circumstances in a match.
Since you can only bring seven substitutes in a match, always look into the possibility of changing your formation and tactics should you need a substitution. For example, if you are using a four-defender setup (DL, DC, DC, DR) and you have to make a defensive winger seat but you didn’t bring a spare one, you will have to make do with a three-defender formation.

4. TRAIN YOUR TEAM REGULARLY
Building a championship-caliber team in Top Eleven 2024 is only possible in two ways: one, invest a lot of money to buy and upgrade players, and two, make sure your team is always well-trained. If you’re planning to go purely free-to-play, the choice is clear.
However, training is something you cannot do as a spam action because it is balanced out by the fact that your roster has a limited size for a worry-free rotation, Rests are hard to come by, and the Condition regeneration rate is slow (at 6% every three hours). Those matters will appear extra restrictive if you will not train your team wisely.
Before we tackle the training strategies and finer details, let’s take a general look first at the facts about training.
– Drills have varying intensities: very easy, easy, medium, hard, and very hard. The Condition cost increases according to the difficulty.
– Each drill has four to five attributes that they can give an increase for. The chance for an increase can be helped by using the x2 effect modifier. However, who will benefit from a session is totally random.
– You will first need to reach Training Level 16 to unlock all six slots. How far will the level-up meter be pushed depends on the Condition cost of a session.
– The x2 effect modifier won’t give double the level progress. It works only to increase effectiveness or the chance that a session will give an attribute increase or a point for those who are learning a new position or Special Ability.
– Unlocking all drill types will take months because access to upgrades or new drills will only open each time your Training Level goes up.
– Drills have four quality levels: amateur, semi-pro, pro, and world-class. The concept of quality over quantity applies, so prioritizing to level up some good ones is better than increasing variety.
– You can build Attack, Defence, Possession, and Condition Bonuses by meeting the required Conditions in each accordingly. The default maximum value is 10% and it will degrade daily by 2%, thus the constant need to train.
4.1 Train Your Team With A Purpose
If you will run a Google search on how to effectively train players in Top Eleven 2024, you will come across advanced strategies that may be too much to process as a beginner. The good news is that, if you are simply just starting out with the game, you do not need to follow such strategies right away as it involves the use of Player Academy coaches which you will very likely need to spend real currency for.
Since this is a beginner’s guide, we are narrowing things down to three basic training strategies: tactical training for bonuses, hybrid training for the entire squad, and purist training.
When you’re purely aiming for a specific Bonus, training just the minimal number of players that meets the Condition will be the way. Just make sure to select the appropriate drills for their position for the chance of earning synergistic attributes.
For example, if you’re looking to push the bonus for Defence, pick at least four players bearing a “green” or defensive position and then load the training queue with defence drills.
Let’s say that you want to conserve the Condition of the defenders in your starting 11 and you have four who will sit out for a match, you can let those spare players take the brunt of the training and the four who won’t join will still benefit from the bonus increase.
Keep in mind though that only the players who participate in training can earn position points, training progress, and the chance to get attribute improvements. Since you will likely field your better players as your starting lineup, limit the use of tactical training only when you’re low on Rests.
Given the above, especially if you’re not yet keen to micromanage, you can opt for hybrid training. By that, we mean to make everyone undergo the same set of drills. Just make sure that you will select a good mix of drills that will cater to all positions.
At lower tiers (League 3 or below and you find that achieving a team rating of 80% is still difficult), there is no harm in making attackers do defence drills nor letting defenders join the training regimen meant for improving attacks.
Drills-to-role mismatch is an angle that is frowned upon at higher levels because it will eventually become not ideal to push a team’s rating up and be matched with other teams that took a purist approach.
The purist method simply means exclusively training players using drills based on their roles. Its purpose is to push growth for the “white” attributes or the ones that matter for their respective positions.
Making everyone undergo hybrid training is a decent choice because you are essentially subjecting the entire team to the same amount of improvement potential. Rather than looking at it negatively, treat it as turning your squad to become a well-rounded weapon.
That means your Strikers will be super fit, midfielders present a decent chance to disrupt counter-attacks, and defenders can use their natural heading ability to become goal threats themselves. We’ve lost count of victories where half of our goals came from defenders (and no, not in corner kick situations or penalty shootouts).
It comes with one caveat, though, since you must put in drills that will benefit all roles, you will be obliged to use all slots making you reach a total Condition cost per session somewhere around 12 to 16%. This issue though can be totally negated by properly scheduling training sessions.
Since fixtures are not constant and unique for every account, the best that we can give is a general rule: observe a time allowance for the last training session ahead of a match. If the next fixture is 10-12 hours away or more (allowing three Condition regeneration cycles), you can do a hybrid, full-team regimen.
Basically, you have to do some math in accounting for how much time is available. Note that anyone you wish to field must be at 91% to 99% Condition when it’s their turn to hit the pitch, especially when you cannot attend a match to call for substitutions.
To close this section, we are listing below the pros and cons of the three general training methods in Top Eleven 2024. This shall keep things simple and will serve as your reference on how you will want to train your team.
Tactical training for bonuses – a training model where only the subs and reserves will train to push for bonuses.
PROS:
– Only burns the Condition of four players
– Starting 11 will benefit from the bonuses without losing Condition
– Ideal when cramming for bonuses for an upcoming match
CONS:
– Tired reserves may not have enough time to recover when it’s their turn to play
– Limited players involved means limited skill growth
– Not possible if your roster is not balanced position-wise or you still lack players
Hybrid training for the entire team – it includes all players selected, all training slots used, and has a mix of drills for all roles at varying intensities
PROS:
– Everyone’s attributes and ratings will uniformly improve
– Higher chance to earn attributes and training points from drills
– Uses less ad-helped modifier for 2x training effectiveness
CONS:
– Each session will cost at least 13.75% Condition
– Will require three heavy sessions to fill 2 or 3 bonuses
– Goalkeeper drill is a Hard session and it will take a toll on everyone else’s Condition
Purist training based on roles – attacking roles will stick with Attack drills, defenders with Defence drills, and a few days a week will be dedicated to Physical & Mental.
PROS:
– Specialized improvement of the attributes that matter in each position
– Less Condition is required as long as you don’t stack three Hard or Very Hard drills
– Focused growth will delay ratings gain which is beneficial by late-game in terms of matchmaking
CONS:
– Limited inclusion of fitness drills will render low-fitness players prone to injuries
– Small chance for non-Strikers to score since other positions won’t gain Shooting and Finishing
– Requires four to five ad-helped x2 training effectiveness modifiers to cover all sessions
– Has diminishing returns for attribute gain
5. UNDERSTAND THE VALUE OF MORALE
Morale is a dynamic that can exclusively influence or be influenced by the matters in the pitch. Its main negative trigger is benching players for consecutive games. Making a player available for transfer will not cause an instant drop in Morale as it normally would in other football management games.
If your team is in a winning form, the lowest Morale your players can get is good; even the ones who are benched for multiple games already. Meanwhile, if your club is at the middle or bottom of the League table, players who are not part of your usual rotation (or have not been used for two straight matches) may show Poor Morale.
The main effect of Morale can be noticed in how aggressive a player is both in defense and offense. For example, if a defender (DL, DR, DC, DMC) has Superb Morale and he enters the final third with the ball, he won’t wait for an open attacker and simply take things upon himself.
Meanwhile, any player with Good Morale or lower will likely prefer to pass the ball and even move downfield regardless of the mentality you set. Moreover, they are likely to commit mistakes in passing, hesitate to tackle, and do poor decisions in general.
There is an inherent daily Morale decay in Top Eleven 2024 wherein even the best-performing players will eventually degrade from Superb to Very Good after a full day has passed. The only exemption would be players that are “On Fire” since that Morale buff is meant to last for two to three days, depending on how it was acquired.
On Fire
The On Fire status is a guaranteed buff for freshly acquired players, be it from the Transfers or Youth recruitment. Some events may offer it with a random player as the recipient.
This rare buff will trigger for any player who has gained a new star (quality improvement), completed learning a Special Ability or new position, scored a hat trick, or pulled off three assists in a single match. Players who won Seasonal awards and those who lifted championship trophies receive this buff too.
If a player is On Fire, it is naturally wise to field him since it essentially lets you allocate Morale Boosters to other players. The concept of being “on fire” is pretty universal in sports, so when someone’s at it, take full advantage of him until the buff wears off.
The On Fire status has the same calculation as Superb when it comes to the Preparation Level projection. However, since it is regarded as a higher Morale status, once the player loses it, he will degrade to Superb which will still let you save up a Morale booster or two.
Improving Morale
Morale can only be actively improved through the use of Morale Boosters which the game treats as a “coaching session.” Morale boosters are the easiest to acquire among the three consumables because every match that you finish will give one; you would get an additional piece each for attending the match and winning.
The clear Condition to the above, of course, is to attend a match. Being consistently present can be, however, quite tricky because no hour in the day is exempted, there will be times that matches occur as late as 22:00 to 00:00 or as early as 04:00 at your local time.
Whenever you are unsure to be present and the next fixture looks winnable even without fielding your usual starters, simply slate your reserves to take their places. Just make sure that this bid to make everyone content with their match times won’t hurt your chances to advance unto the next round of competition. Translation: don’t do it in Cup and Super/Champions League matches.
Applicable scenarios for the above would be when your next opponent has a lower rating than yours (at least a 15% gap), has a losing form, or when you’re ahead in the score in terms of aggregate goals. If your team is well-prepared in terms of training anyway, even your reserves would be capable to put up a good fight.
6. KEEP YOUR PLAYERS’ CONDITION IN CHECK
Make it a habit to visit the Training > Physio Centre to get a good look at your players’ Condition bars. Pay attention to the Condition percentages and the regeneration timer at the lower left.
For anyone in your starting 11 sporting a yellow or yellow-green bar, calculate if there would be enough Condition regeneration cycles for them to be on green before the next fixture. If there isn’t enough time, spend Rests on your players in this particular order of priority per position: GK > ST > MC > DC > DMC > AMC > DL/DR.
If you have stocked up Rests and there are several players that you want to be a bit more rested, you can opt to pay for one full Condition regeneration cycle instead. Since one cycle benefits the entire roster, the cost varies starting from 10 to 12 Rests, depending on your team’s size.
Keep in mind that one Rest gives +15% Condition to a single player and a regeneration cycle grants only 6%, but it is for the entire team. The latter will be more advantageous in some situations where you have back-to-back fixtures that are only three to five hours apart or if you wish to keep your team fresh to participate in some events.
Just to reiterate what we shared earlier in this guide, the target is to get all players within 91% to 99% Condition to ensure that they can last an entire match. As such, be wary about overtraining players especially if you do not have enough Rests to spare.
7. ALWAYS SCOUT YOUR SCHEDULE AND OPPONENTS
Being aware of the matches ahead and the time gaps between them will let you make sound decisions in terms of preparation. As we have previously mentioned, you need to calculate how many Condition regeneration cycles there are in between matches.
Training your team has both long-term (attributes improvement) and short-term (bonuses) benefits, so you need to squeeze in sessions as much as you can. There will be times however where you will have three fixtures in a day and training would not be possible; else it would be counterproductive.
Whenever you notice that the upcoming fixtures are not favorable to you, whether it’s because you want to attend a match and you likely couldn’t or the spacing is simply horrendous, consider spending tokens to reschedule.
Tokens are something that you can earn daily (through daily login bonuses and sponsorships) and letting go of a couple of them would be worth it if it means that you can improve your team’s bid for a win. The match rewards are better when you win: more players receive Match Rewards (Playstyle Points, training points, and attribute growth) plus you will get more currencies.
You will rarely find the need to pay for rescheduling if you will remain diligent in regularly training your team. If the situation calls for it, though, push a fixture to an hour where everyone’s Condition will be fit enough to dominate your opposition.
Estimating Condition recovery times is not the only benefit of scouting through your schedule; it also allows you to size up your next opponents. When you tap on a fixture, you can pull up a Match Preview which lets you check the formation, squad composition, and current form of your rivals.
Logically, you must try to fully prepare your team, tweak your formation and tactical approach, and perhaps also increase your defense at certain points to thwart your opponent’s strongest attackers.
8. TAKE A CHANCE IN TRANSFERS: KNOW WHAT TO LOOK FOR
Your journey as a manager in Top Eleven 2024 all boils down to improving the quality of your club’s roster. Training can only push everyone’s ratings and quality to a fixed maximum value. Eventually, especially when you get promoted to higher Leagues, you will realize that who you have on your roster can only take you so far.
That is exactly why you should actively check Transfers. Every entry that you’ll see in the Auctions are all submissions of other human players and the list refreshes every four minutes.
If you participate in an auction, you must outbid and outsmart everyone else who is interested in the same prospects you are eying for. Since each bid requires you to have a certain number of tokens and amount of cash, make sure to only bid on players that you REALLY need.
The idea is to fill all 28 slots in your roster and achieve a balance where a particular position will have three available substitutes. Keep using Transfers until you achieve that. Since there are 11 different outfield positions, you need to look for versatile players, they will naturally be more expensive, but the range they offer is simply necessary for forming a complete team.
However, do not go blindly recruiting just for the sake of filling your squad. Observe parameters such as price versus age, quality, and attributes. Think of a Token cost ceiling when aiming to recruit to avoid overspending.
With the initial bulk of Tokens you get as a new account, it will be tempting to splurge on Auctions. However, you should only start aggressively recruiting once you have obtained your “free” 5-star player, the other free one at the end of the Onboarding path, and have availed of the first one or two sponsor-helped recruits. These strong players will define your early-game squad as you will want to build a team around them.
When you’re still in League 1 and 2, the costs of the Daily Player recommendations are still reasonable. Acquiring one or two players from this feature may also be ideal. The players offered are somewhat random but you can influence what position will the next day’s prospect be.
The trick in invoking a “preferred” position is to plot your squad while fielding the weakest player who shares that position. For example, if most of your players have above four stars and you wish to replace someone with less, temporarily set a lineup with that player deployed before the next Daily Player suggestion comes.
The new Daily Player will come four hours after the game’s daily reset time. You have to be wary then of fitting a temporary lineup if you have a fixture that coincides with it.
Token costs for bidding can skyrocket depending on the overall quality of a prospect, so going after the biggest fishes may not be ideal. Sometimes, especially if you’re purely on F2P, you simply have to settle with decent alternatives. Here is a list of tips and things to consider when participating in Auctions:
– Keep in mind that when you get promoted, everyone in your roster will lose one full star in quality, a 20% decrease. If you’re looking to get a starter, try to aim for someone who at least has an 80% rating; if you’re looking for backups or role-players, those with 61% to 75% would be enough for the current season.
– Look for versatile players or those who are already enabled for two or more roles. Note, however, that the attributes/skills of a player are optimized for their primary position. If you see one marked as MC-AMC-ST, his skill set is built around Passing and Crossing rather than Shooting and Finishing even if he can play as Striker.
– You know you have saved on Tokens and cash if you win an Auction and what you paid for is less than 50% of the cost of the Daily Player (at League 3 and above).
– Winning a 6-star player is a dream scenario but not entirely a long shot. If you have at least 10 Tokens to spare, you can dump the entire amount right away. The objective is to bloat the prices of the top recruits so the “loaded” players will be forced to empty out their pockets to beat you and leave the Auctions early.
– The list of auctioned players will reset every four minutes so even if you do the bloating trick, you will need to dedicate time if you are determined to get a player or two.
– Remember that you have to compete with other players, so walking the extra mile is encouraged. By that, we mean that you need to feel out what hours Auctions are more active and try to eclipse any highest bidder within the last 10 seconds before the bidding closes.
9. PICK THE FINANCIAL BACKING THAT BEST FITS YOUR APPETITE
As soon as you reach Manager Level 2, you will gain access to TV Rights and Jersey Sponsors. These two features under the Finances cluster are the only secure means to haul the amount of Cash and Tokens that you’ll need in a season.
Basically, your chosen partner for Jersey Sponsorship will provide you cash while TV Rights will give Tokens. There are up to four options for each. You will need to reach Manager Level 5 to gain access to all four.
For TV Rights, the best option is OH2. All you need is to log in once a day and you’re guaranteed 35 tokens in 28 days. However, if you cannot log in daily, you won’t hit the 4-day login streak Condition. In such a case, going with Nordeus would be the better choice for you.
When it comes to Jersey Sponsors, it’s all about upfront payment with varying tie-up periods across all four options. Less commitment is required to maximize option numbers 1 to 3; option 4 is best if you can log in daily.
10. SYSTEMATICALLY USE YOUR AD VIEWING OPPORTUNITIES
Apologies if the title of this section sounds intimidating more than what’s required; it is simply an attempt to set a serious tone on the subject matter. Due to the slow natural flow of currencies in Top Eleven 2024, as well as the wide time gap between fixtures and Condition regeneration, tapping into the power of ads is simply a must.
There are no forced ad-watching phases in Top Eleven 2024. Your access to them is limited with varying cooldown times. These cooldowns will be something that you may inevitably become familiar with, particularly if you’re going to wring out every piece of help you can get as an F2P player.
The standard, voluntary ad-watching phases are within Training (x2 effect modifier), player recovery options (Squad and Training > Physio Centre), and the Shop. Across the four accounts we initiated in making this guide, we have observed that the access to ads is controlled because of the value they bring.
Since there is a limit with hours’ worth of cooldown involved, here is the order of priority that we recommend for using them: Training x2 effect modifier > Physio Centre > Squad > Shop.
At every start of the day (based on 0:00 GMT+0), your ad “credits” will be fully reloaded, provided that you have not watched an ad within five hours prior. The amount of ad-watching opportunities every day’s start range from 16 to 20 times. Any subsequent access to ads throughout the day reloads every three to five hours.
Follow the prioritization mentioned above; start using these credits when you set training sessions for your team. You may use the x2 effect modifier up to five times which is enough if you’re going for the purist or roles-focused training model. The batches we recommend would be ST + AMC, ST + AMC + MC, MC + DMC, DMC+ defenders, defenders + GK.
If you play frequently and consistently achieve 10% for the four Bonuses daily, you will need fewer batches. Three would do, the first to include everyone and the next to focus on just meeting the Conditions for the two Bonus types that you wish to push max values for. Note that it is possible to achieve Superb in Preparation Level even if you only max two Bonus types.
The remaining ad credits after training can be allocated to address your players’ Condition and Morale needs. Remember, it is important to set your starting 11 with the best Morale as possible; for Condition, getting them at 91% by match start should be enough.
Quite strangely, when you run out of ad credits while in the Training > Physio Centre, a few more remain available when you switch to Squad > Formations view. The button for ads may be re-enabled two to three more times, thus letting you cover more ground to increase your Preparation Level.
When all of the day’s matches are done and there is ample time for your squad to regain Condition until the next fixture, you can use any remaining ad credits to claim free currencies from the Shop.
Top Eleven 2024 has recently included another ad-helped bonus when you’re greeted by the Daily Login Bonus. The currencies you can receive here are too hard to pass up, so you need to be mindful of the daily reset hour to be sure you have ad credits when it comes. Otherwise, you cannot claim extras.
11. ACTIVELY ENGAGE IN EVENTS
Ever came across the profiles of players with a team rating of 100% and above? We suggest that you check their manager profiles. You would be surprised to see that most of them started their accounts as far back as 2016 and even beyond. Not a lot of games can establish such player a grip on players!
The best explanation behind that long-time loyalty is how Top Eleven 2024 spices things up with multiple events. Apart from the regular weekly rotations, there are seasonal ones and even special stretches where real-life football figures make an appearance. Just recently an event quest line was opened to share the story of former Liverpool FC star, Xabi Alonso.
The rewards from events make it worthwhile to open the game several times a day outside of the usual training routine and match attendance. Events like Hot Shots (Playstyle Points), Story Events (PVE and PVP matches for mixed rewards), Video Drills (instant skill % gain), and Draw Frenzy (random currencies and perks) could grant various bonuses that may give you the surge you need to dominate or survive a Season.
12. UPGRADE YOUR CLUB’S FACILITIES
As we have mentioned in the Ground section earlier, improving the facilities will bring multiple benefits. For a quick reference of what they do and what they give, we are tackling them all here. Note that we have arranged them in our suggested order of priority.
Stadium – Your home court and proving grounds. It has five parts namely the Pitch, Stadium, Seats, Lighting, and Scoreboard. You can also change the name of your Stadium here.
Leveling up the Pitch is what counts the most because it does what the tutorial will tell about it: the tendency of injuries from hard contact and sliding tackles will be more unlikely the higher the level of your Pitch is. This is also where you can change the appearance or pattern of your Pitch.
Upgrading your Stadium and Seats will both work to increase the capacity which will translate to higher ticket income from your home games. It has the longest upgrade times which is only fitting since modifications will mean a construction period.
Lighting and Scoreboard are mere accessories, they don’t bring any benefits. Still, you will be compelled to upgrade in accordance with the game’s uniform upgrade requirement.
Training Grounds – Since this is where your players train, the impact of upgrades works to increase the effectiveness of training sessions. Effectiveness means the chance for your players to gain attributes, Playstyle Points, and +1 training point for those who are learning a new position or Special Ability.
It also generates Rests after five days and the amount is relative to the facility’s level. After leveling up the Pitch, focus on keeping the level of your Training Ground to be higher than the rest since it yields the more valuable currency.
Medical – Injuries are inevitable and this facility is your preemptive response to that reality. It generates a set amount of Treatments every 5 days, proportionate to its level. The implied effect it has over reducing recovery periods is something we found inaccurate, so treat it with a grain of salt.
Youth Academy – Your club’s answer to the constant need to update your roster as seasons go by. The level of this facility influences the number and quality of recruits your club can attract every season. At max level, you can take up to four aspirants.
Utilities – This facility sells souvenirs which bring in some additional income proportionate to the number of fans attending your home matches.
Parking – Nothing fancy; upgrades here will increase its capacity and translate to more fan attendance in home matches.
There is no exact trick when dealing with facility upgrades but we do have a precaution to share. The currency-generating ones, Training Ground and Medical, will cancel their production during construction phases so make sure to only initiate upgrades after they finish a cycle. Otherwise, the days that have already passed to finish a batch would be put to waste.
13. ADD FRIENDS TO EARN EXTRA BONUSES
Within the Assistant Report window, you can see four slots for sending and claiming a Treatment, Morale Booster, Rest, and attribute increase. This social dynamic in Top Eleven 2024 can be used once you have added friends.
Basically, you can send any of the four to your friends once a day and, in return, you receive one of each. Having active friends then guarantees that you earn a full batch daily. One unit each may be minimal, but the real deal here is the attribute increase.
It will grant an instant +4% to a random skill of a random player. For context as to why it’s bad to miss it, an increment that substantial is only possible for a player winning the Man of the Match award.
Earlier in this guide, we introduced Associations as a means to find in-game friends but you can actually start adding people even if you have not unlocked that feature yet. When you participate in Auctions, you earn an indirect perk and that is exposing yourself to other players.
Since only active players take part in Auctions, Top Eleven veterans rely on it to find equally-enthusiastic managers. You can simply wait for people to send you friend requests or initiate one yourself to the managers bidding in Auctions.
