After a massive success in Japan and Korea The King of Fighters Allstar is ready for a global debut. It quickly rose the top spot in terms of downloads in the said countries, gathering over 14 million players in such a short time. The game has just entered pre-registration period for its global release and is expected to launch by October 22.
The King of Fighters is one of the most popular fighting games around, with over 20 titles under its belt since it was initially released in 1994. As the name suggests, The King of Fighters Allstar will be bringing back some of the biggest stars from the series. Players will be able to recruit their favorites and even bring along some new characters as the current pool of characters is over 200.
The King of Fighters Allstar is not a fighting game, though. Netmarble calls it an action brawler, which means players will not be entering 1v1 battles. Instead, they will be able to collect characters through a gacha system then assemble a team in order to fight against multiple waves of enemies.
Pre-registration rewards will be given to all players who sign up early. Prizes depend on the pre-registration milestones reached. Check out the list below for potential rewards.
