1. Restart From Level 1

The game gives you the option to skip stages when restarting. While you might think this is a good idea since you will be able to reach the later stages more quickly, you will actually be missing out on a lot. Always start at level 1 when you replay the game. Even if it is tedious, the gold you will be able to accumulate will be worth the trouble of starting over from scratch. Gold coins are important for leveling up your monsters, so every little bit counts. The only time that you can freely skip stages is when you pick up a double damage boost from an ad offer as it will allow you to go farther for a limited time.

2. Watch Some Ads For Goodies

Ad offers appear randomly throughout the game. The benefits they provide differ, but they are all good. Always take advantage of these offers because they can help you progress more quickly in the game. The offers that give you free gems and increase the coins dropped by monsters are especially useful since you need a lot of both currencies. As for the double damage, it becomes truly useful once you are a lot stronger. Since your progress will tend to plateau at higher levels, doubling your damage will help you overcome hurdles. It isn’t as useful at lower levels since a lot of damage won’t matter as much just yet.

3. How To Make Your Monsters Stronger

The stronger your monsters are, the easier it will be to defend your territory. There are a number of ways for you to make your monsters stronger. The first step you should take is to go into the bottom left menu to purchase monster attack boosts. The monster attack boost has a coin and a gem options, and you can purchase them both. The coin bonus gives you 10% attack boost with an additional 1% for each new purchase. The gem boost gives you a 10% attack boost as well, but with an additional 5% for each new purchase. Try to buy at least the first five boosts of each in order to make your progress a lot easier.

Once you have purchased the recommended number of monster attack boosts, it is time to focus on your monsters. First off, make sure you focus on getting monsters that are rare and above. Common monsters are useless and should be replaced as soon as you can. Utilize gem unlocks whenever possible since it has the best chance of giving you a good monster.

4. Building Your Team

Summoner’s Greed pretty much plays itself during the first few waves. By the time you hit wave 30, things will start getting a little more difficult. When you reach this point, you will need to start focusing on the monsters you take with you. As we mentioned above, common monsters are no good in the long run, so always invest in rare ones.

Proper placement is also important in battle. Make sure you place speedy monsters on the front row, so they can whittle away at the enemy health early on. Place your heavy hitter in the middle of the second row, since this spot will have the most access to the monsters in the long run. You can then plop down a couple of medium damage dealers beside your hard hitter.

Ashe, Frostbite, and Teddy are particularly helpful when building a team. Place Teddy near the side in order to maximize the effect of his skill. This is something that you should do for all monsters. Always think about how their respective skills can be utilized properly. You want to make the most out of every hero, so learning their skills is part of it.

5. Cast A Spell

There are several spells available for you to learn in Summoner’s Greed. Some spells are better than others, so it is important for you to understand how each spell works in order to know which ones you should use. For example, the Freeze spell may seem like a good idea at first, but it does not scale as well as other spells. A better spell would be the Fireball, so make sure you invest a lot of resources there. Knowing which spell to invest in can help you manage the limited resources you have.

Having stronger spells is not the only thing you should consider. You should also think about the proper timing of these spells. They all have cooldown periods, so it is best if you save them for crucial moments. If you use them at the wrong time, you might end up getting overrun with no spells to back you up. Hold off on using spells unless you are in a boss battle, or if you see a massive number of warriors coming in. Use your Freeze spell first to slow down the advance of the enemies, then use your fireball to obliterate them.

That is everything you need to know in order to successfully defend your lair in Summoner’s Greed! Just stick to our list of tips, cheats and tricks and you will be sending those heroes packing in no time!
