It doesn’t matter if you are the good guy or the bad guy, what matters is that you win! In Playstack’s mobile game Snipers vs Thieves, you will either be a thief trying to rob a bank, or a sniper wiping out those pesky looters. It’s a multiplayer heist game for Android and iOS devices so be prepared to face off with some of the best players from around the world. Do you have what it takes to make it all the way to the top of the leaderboards? If you follow our Snipers vs Thieves tips and tricks, you will surely come out on top!

1. Snipers: Observe Your Target

Don’t just carelessly shoot at every thief you see. You will need to be methodical in your approach if you want to take them by surprise. Observe your target closely and see how fast they are going. A slower thief is most likely almost out of stamina. They will soon have to pause in order to rest up, making them prime targets.
While observing each thief is important, don’t forget to check out the rest of the perimeter from time to time. You might miss a couple of thieves sneaking by if you’re always zoomed in on a single thief. Make sure you stop all of them by checking where the other thieves are whenever you have a chance.

2. Snipers: Practice Your Aim

An injured thief will still be able to scurry off with some loot. Aim for the head as much as you can in order to take out a thief permanently. It will take a lot of practice but once you have it down, you will be able to obliterate all the thieves on the opposing team. Be patient and wait for the perfect position before taking that shot. You might not get a second chance if you miss since the thief will be more alert if you fail to kill him. If headshots are proving to be too difficult, you can also try aiming for their loot bags. If you poke a hole into their bag, the thieves will slowly lose money until they end up going home with nothing.

3. Snipers: Pick The Right Gadgets

Snipers are able to bring a maximum of three gadgets depending on their level. The gadgets can either be ammo, support, or trap. Ammo gadgets give you more firepower which makes it easier to damage and kill thieves even if you don’t get headshots. Support gadgets provide utility that makes hunting down thieves a walk in the park. An example of this is the radar which helps detect thieves in the perimeter. Lastly, trap gadgets inflict different status ailments on unsuspecting thieves which will allow you to take them out with ease. Keep in mind that there is a limit to the number of times you can use each gadget so think about the best times to use each one. The number of uses refreshes at the start of each game so don’t be too frugal, either.

4. Thieves: Be Careful Where You Hide

Pay attention to the green arrows on each type of cover before ducking behind them. There are different types of cover and choosing the wrong one can easily spell your death. A whole green arrow indicates that you will be completely protected so feel free to dive behind that object. A half-filled harrow means it will only protect some parts of your body which means you can still get shot if you aren’t careful. A cracked arrow means that object can be destroyed by a few sniper shots so don’t stay behind it for too long.

5. Thieves: Keep Your Stamina Up

There is a limit to how much you can move before getting too tired. Instead of trying to get to the bank in one go, make it short bursts in between covers so that you will be able to maintain your stamina at a decent level. Whenever you reach a new cover, make sure you stay behind it until your stamina has fully recovered. If you run out of stamina without a cover you are as good as dead. You will move very slowly, making you an easy target.

If someone is shooting at you, use the dodge roll by swiping up. Use this sparingly as it will consume a lot of stamina at once. You don’t want to be able to dodge a bullet by rolling then end up having to sit in plain view of a sniper because you ran out of stamina. The bulk of a thief’s role is managing stamina in order to make sure they get in and out of the bank safely. Do not bother with theatrics when it comes to avoiding bullets. Just focus on the goal and try to stay alive for as long as you can.

6. Thieves: Squeeze In A Few Taunts

Taunting the snipers takes a lot of guts. Your bravery will be rewarded by energy points if you manage to survive. Energy points will fill up the yellow gauge. Once you have some energy, you will be able to sprint until the yellow gauge is depleted. Sprinting will allow you to get to your destination quicker, and will make it more difficult for snipers to shoot you.

If you are worried about getting shot, be strategic in your taunts. The snipers don’t actually have to be looking at you when you taunt them. You just need to be in plain sight, it doesn’t matter is a sniper sees you or not. Use this to your advantage by waiting for your fellow thieves to get shot at. Jump out of your cover and squeeze in a few seconds of taunting before the snipers shift their gaze to you. Sure, your comrades may end up dead, but at least you can sprint, right? Gathering enough energy for sprinting is risky but it is also very rewarding.
