Reef Rescue Cheats, Tips & Tricks: How to Unlock All Fish

Reef Rescue is a unique puzzle game from Qublix, that’s now available for Android and iOS devices. The game combines match-three puzzle elements with city building. As you go through the different levels of the game, you will be helping out your fish friends while earning some coins at the same time. Your goal is to restore the reef as well as its residents in order to create a bustling community. Once you have fully developed your current reef, it is time to take a step back and admire your handiwork. Play around with the residents and watch them dart around their new home. After that, you can move on to unlock the next reef. There are more locations that need your help, so don’t worry about running out of things to do! Be warned, though. The puzzles become more difficult as you progress in the game. Make sure you prepare by reading our Reef Rescue cheats, tips and tricks before diving in!

1. Log In Daily For Rewards

In Reef Rescue you get a reward for simply logging into the game. However, you won’t know what you will get until you log in. The game’s daily reward is a slot-machine type that lets you spin for a prize. The prizes normally include power ups. You might think that’s useless, but just hold on to those during earlier levels. You will realize their true value once you reach higher levels where even a few extra moves could make or break your game.

2. Check Your Goals

Before you get carried away in matching tiles and triggering combos, make sure you know what your goals are. Check the left side of the board where you will find your fish friends. They will have a though bubble containing the type of tiles they need for you to collect. You only have a limited number of moves in order to collect all the tiles they need. Prioritize your goals over making combo matches. It won’t matter how awesome your matches are if you end up failing the level.

3. Use Special Tiles

Making simple matches will only work during the early levels. As the difficulty level goes up, it will become harder for you to complete puzzles without the help of special tiles. The good news is, you can make the special tiles yourself. Making matches of four or more tiles will result in a special tile. Use these strategically in order to reach your goals quickly.

Matching four tiles in a line will create a Line Bomb that will destroy everything in a row or column, depending on how it was created. Four tiles in a square, on the other hand, will create an area bomb that will destroy adjacent tiles around it. Making a T-shaped match will result in an X Bomb that will destroy all tiles in an X pattern. Finally, making a match of five tiles in a line will create a Rainbow Bomb that will destroy all the tiles of the same color as the one you choose to swap it with.

Keep in mind that these special tiles also have special interactions that you can take advantage of. Using an Area Bomb and a Line Bomb together will allow you to destroy three rows or columns instead of just one. Swapping a Rainbow Bomb with an Area Bomb will turn all tiles of the same color into Area Bombs before detonating all of them. Think of different ways you can use special tile combinations in order to achieve your goals.

4. Aim For The Grand Finale

Reef Rescue gives you a specific number of moves for each level. That doesn’t mean, however, that you need to use them all. In fact, it is better if you use a few moves as possible for each level. If you complete a level without using up all the moves, a Grand Finale will be triggered. This means a random special tile will be placed on the board for every extra move you have left. Once all the special tiles have been placed, they will all be triggered at once, giving you plenty of extra coins in the process.

5. Replay Completed Levels For Gold

When you complete a round for the first time, you will be rewarded 400 coins plus whatever bonus you get from the Grand Finale. If you complete the same round for a second time, the reward will be raised to 450 coins. When you play for the third time, the reward will become 500 coins. The difficulty of the level will not change, so it basically gives you more coins for replaying the same level. Keep in mind, however, that you will not be able to earn any more coins from the same level after the third time.

6. Feed Your Fish Friends

Once you have fish residents in your reef, you will see them swim around. You will probably notice some of them with a thought bubble containing food. That means they are hungry. You can feed them by tapping on the third icon on the bottom of your screen. It is the one that looks like a jar with a fish icon on it. Tapping on the feed icon will drop a few food pellets on the screen. The fish will all run towards the food, but since there are only a few pellets, some of them might not be able to eat anything. Just keep tapping on the feed icon until all of them are fed.

Feeding the fish will reward you with coins, so make sure you keep an eye on them. Since you only have limited earning potential from replaying levels, every little bit of extra coins you can earn can go a long way. You can feed the fish several times a day, but the cooldown takes six hours. Make sure you check back every six hours to maximize your feeding.

7. Shop A Lot

Since the main goal of the story is to rebuild the reef, you need to fill it up with residents, decorations, and structures. To do so, you need to buy those things from the store. When you go into the store, you will see three tabs. The first one is for fish. You can buy the same fish multiple times and rename them to whatever name you want. The second tab is for coral decorations while the third one is for structures. Keep in mind that you can only purchase a limited number of each kind of decoration and structure. That isn’t such a bad thing because they are a lot more expensive than fish.

You can purchase fish, decorations, and structures with coins and Diamonds. Diamonds are the game’s premium currency, and the items you can buy with them are usually better than the ones you can get for coins. If you want to get some free Diamonds, you can get them as a reward from chests. If you noticed, there are three chests on the reef. The first one brown, the second is blue, and the third is green. You will need to collect stars if you want to open them up. The higher the rarity of the chest, the more stars you need.

This is another reason for you to keep shopping. The only way to get stars is by purchasing things from the shop. You will see how much stars each purchase will give you by tapping on it in the store. If you want to know what you will get from the chests, you can tap on them as well. Doing so will also show you how many stars you still need to unlock them.

8. Link Your Facebook Account

At the top left corner of the screen, you will see a heart icon with a number on it. This indicates the number of lives you have remaining. Every time you fail a level, you will lose a life. When you run out of lives, you will not be able to play. The hearts regenerate over time, but who has time to wait around? This is where linking your Facebook comes in handy.

When you link your Facebook account, you will be able to see all your friends who are also playing the game. You can even invite others to try the game as well. You will get a free life for every friend you invite to the game. On top of that, you can request for additional lives from your friends who are already playing.

To check if you have received any hearts from your friends while you were away, just tap on the gift icon on the left side of the screen. Of course, don’t forget to return the favor by sending hearts to your friends as well. As an added feature, you can also check out the reefs of your friends by tapping on the last button at the bottom of the screen.

It is time to save the seas and start rebuilding in Reef Rescue! If you follow the cheats, tips and tricks listed above, your reef will be full in no time!

You have to finish more levels and buy more things. This will earn you stars which will eventually open the chests. Once you open 3 chests on s level another reef opens. You can move back and forth between open reefs. But you have to earn each new reef
