Questland is a unique turn-based RPG with a first-person perspective. Available on Android and iOS, Gamesture’s immersive new mobile title lets you create and customize your very own character. You will then have to fight, level up, loot, and craft equipment in order to become The Chosen One. Your goal is to go on an ambitious journey in order to destroy the Shadow. 1. Gather Resources
The core of any mobile RPGs is gathering resources. You will need these if you want to eventually get your legendary gear. The good news is that Questland is actually pretty generous in terms of resources. All you have to do is be diligent in collecting them from different locations. Your first stop should be the Docks. This is where you can earn gold, eternium, barrels, and event tickets by simply watching video advertisements.
After the Docks, you should check out the Quests. These give you three options for earning resources. You can also sell your extra gear for gold or smelt them for eternium. The only time you will have problems in collecting resources is when you are out of energy. Make sure you refill your energy pool by visiting the tavern twice a day.
If you are in the mood for watching even a few more video advertisements, you can do so in order to get some free gems. You can do the same when you drop by the Bank in order to get a 50% bonus when you claim money. Take advantage of all the ad offers whenever you can and watch the resources pile up.
2. Know Your Gear
There are different types of gear in Questland. Part of your job is familiarizing yourself with all of them in order to maximize their use. The different gear slots are for Helmet, Chest Armor, Gauntlets, Boots, Pendant, Ring, Talisman, Main Hand, and Shield. There is another slot that has a paw print on it, but it is not yet available. This would most likely be a pet-related item slot.
The gear you pick up have different grades. They can be Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, or Legendary. Of course, your goal is to have a full set of Legendary gear. You have a long way to go before you can achieve this, but your starting point is by selling off low-grade gear for gold or smelting them for eternium. You will need a lot of both upgrading your equipment.
3. Upgrade Your Gear
While we are on the subject of upgrading, one of the most important tasks you have is to make sure your equipment sets are fully upgraded. Legendary gear can only do so much unless you maximize its potential. One thing you should remember, however, is that the only types of gear worth upgrading are Epic and Legendary. Since you will need a lot of resources to fully upgrade your set, make sure you don’t waste any on low-grade equipment.
4. How To Get Better Equipment
There are different ways for you to obtain equipment in Questland. The primary option is to open chests by using keys or gems. Other than that, you can also purchase them from shops or get them as reward for completing missions. You will have to complete certain missions with 3 stars, though. The best option is still to open Eternal Gear Chests from the shop by spending 300 gems or by using Eternal Gear keys.
If you are short on gems, don’t worry. Just follow the different tasks listed in the Earn Gems section of the Quest screen. Once you have enough gems, use them to open up chests. Another option is to hold on to your gems until there are Event draws. If you have decent equipment, you can wait for Events for a chance to get special equipment.
5. Spend Your Money Wisely
If you decide that you want to try spending some real money in the game, there are a couple of deals in the shop that are worth $0.99 each. These will give you a good jumpstart in the game in terms of resources. More importantly, you also get Eternal Chest keys and a lot of gems that will help you get great starting gear.
