A new and exciting level-based puzzle game developed by Orangenose Studios, Pop the Ice invites players to enjoy 90 levels of pure entertainment. Available on both iOS and Android platforms, the goal of the game is to have you pound your fist on the table to move your ice cube upward into the next cup. 1. Tap The Screen To Make It To The Next Cup
Take your time to plan your move
Since there is no time limit in place, you can take all the time you need to plan your move and make the most accurate possible shot. On the first levels, the ice cube will always go straight up when you tap the screen, making aiming really easy. However, things get a little more complicated as you progress through the game.
2. Pay Attention To Wind
Adjust your move to make it to the next cup
As you progress through the game, you will have to face new challenges. And the wind is one of them. If debris blowing sideways shows up, it means that there is wind on the level where the cup is. And this requires a shot adjustment. Following the direction of the wind, let the ice cube go more or less one cup-length away from the target cup. This way, the wind will blow your ice cube directly into the cup.
3. Learn How To Deal With Special Glasses
Adjust your shot to make it as accurate as possible
Once you pass the Desert Dawn levels, a new type of cups will appear: the leaning glasses. This means that the glasses will tilt when they change direction. In order to get your ice cube into the cup, you will need to launch it more or less two cup-lengths away from the target cup. The situation gets even more exciting when you have to also face a low-light scenery.
The high-speed cups will make the game even more difficult. When you first get to play with narrow cups, you will have slow cups under them until you get used to them. However, as you progress through the game, you will have to face the narrow cups and the fast cups at the same time. Add low-light and wind to this scenario and you’re up to a nice challenge!
4. Want To Get Rid Of Ads?
Turn off your Internet connection
For the time being, the “no ads” option is not available in Pop the Ice. So, until it gets added, there is only one way to get rid of ads: turn off your Internet connection or turn the airplane mode on. This way, ads will stop loading.
