1. Keep The Boosts Active

Defenders cannot be expected to contribute much to dealing damage to enemies but may have added skills that can reduce the enemies’ offensive strength like reducing their attack or attack speed. Passive effects of Defenders that apply to the team include boosts in Extra EXP, Extra Gold, HP, and ATK.
Attackers (Twin Swords) are melee damage-dealers that have decent attack ratings and second to the Defenders in terms of defensive strength. Attackers do not just deal more damage to enemies compared to Defenders but their skills may also involve increasing the offensive strength of the party like boosting attack for everyone or increasing the team’s attack speed. Passive effects of Attackers that apply to the team include boosts in Extra EXP, Extra Gold, HP, and ATK.
No party in any RPG is complete without Healers (Cross). Healers are a requisite to bolster the survivability of your team especially in tough battles. Beyond HP restoration or gradual HP regeneration, healers can also improve the team’s damage reduction or even grant them a temporary shield that blocks incoming damage. Passive effects of Healers that apply to the team include boosts in Extra EXP, Extra Gold, HP, and ATK.
Archers (Bow) in Millistar Raiders can deal massive damage to a number of enemies simultaneously. Archers lag behind in terms of defense and will more likely perish quickly with comparatively fewer hits. One of the 2 archers in the game excel in dealing raw damage while the other inflicts extra poison damage. You will have an abundance of Hero Enhancement Stones by the time you recruit your first top-tier hero but the cost of enhancing heroes will expectedly grow with each new upgrade so you cannot really have more enhancement stones than you need. Another cool feature in Millistar Raiders is unlocking extra abilities for each hero. Each one can have as many as 4 slots for unlockable passive abilities, depending on their rarity grade and it consumes 5 dice to fill in all slots.
Extra abilities unlocked are random, not just in the stats they affect, but in the efficacy of its effects as indicated by the rating. Extra abilities can have a rating of D, C, B, A, S, or even SS. If you do not like the extra abilities you have unlocked, then another roll of the dice can completely change all that. What is nice about this is that you can tap on the ones you actually want to keep to lock them in, and only the unlocked slots will be rerolled.
At this point, you should already be well aware that you need 10 copies of each hero to merge them to the next grade. The progress bar for each hero within every grade is indicated at the lower side of their portrait.
For heroes belonging to the top grade (Light Blue), amassing 10 copies of each one will naturally not unlock a higher grade hero you can merge them into. Instead having a max of 10 copies is a requirement for the hero to be able to be further upgraded or awakened. This will also require Hero Upgrade Meats and will extend the level cap of the hero from 100 to 120 and so on.

You can choose to prioritize weapons over armor and vice versa, but we recommend choosing between these options instead of mixing it out. Getting weapons and armors of the highest grade will take more time and require more Millistone purchases to reach and in the case of accessories, you cannot uncover them as easily since they cannot be summoned. Only one piece of each can be equipped to you as the captain so the best choice is ultimately the ones at the bottom of the line. Weapons, armors, and accessories can all be enhanced using Equipment Enhancement Stones.
Like heroes, using these enhancement stones on ones that you will eventually replace with a better one seems like a waste of resources. However, given that it will take some time to net the top item under each category, it will also be wise to upgrade the best one for the moment but not necessarily expend all enhancement stones on them. Choosing which particular gear type to focus on or prioritize depends on your team’s needs but equally giving them weight is a viable course of action as well.
5. Skills And Relics Help Mold Your Team

Millistar Raiders’ idle campaign is divided into 5 chapters and each chapter holds 400 stages to conquer, leaving you a total of 2,000 chapters to journey through. As you move on from one area to the next, the potential set of relics you can obtain will vary.
There are also unique relics that are character specific and as much as we deem each character within the same rarity as equal to fellow heroes within the same class, the Lost and Found Relics may impact your choice as to which unit to consider for your party. Lost and Found Relics cannot be obtained from the idle campaign and can only be randomly received from your adventures inside the Millistar Ruins.
Each Lost and Found Relic provides a passive boost for the specific character and another buff for all units. In case you are choosing between 2 mages, for example, and you have 4 relics on one and 0 on another, then going with the former could be the better option.
6. Keep The Captain Fully Enhanced
Upgrades in Millistar Raiders are not just exclusive to the heroes themselves and you, as the Captain, also has a number of enhancement options that applies to your deployed team. The Captain icon is the first icon at the lower right side of your screen and you are likely to see indicators on it for the most part of your journey as enhancements are almost always available.
The most basic upgrade to invest in is Enhancement and this is where you spend gold to level up different stats. There will only be a limited selection of stats to upgrade and the rest unlocks once you max out the existing ones.
Our recommendation here is to spread out gold utilization as the effect of each level up is basically the same from one level to the next whereas cost attributed to each one increases with each new level. Instead of pumping attack by 100 levels for example, you can invest across all available stats to have more than 100 level ups with the amount of gold you have.
You might be wondering about the point of leveling up your captain as indicated by the level and the circular EXP bar at the upper left corner of the screen. Each new level you reach earns you growth points and growth points can be invested into various stats under the “Growth” tab. Every upgrade here costs 1 Growth Point regardless of the level, which means that you can customize your team’s build to some extent based on which stat or stats you choose to prioritize over another.
Another set of stat boosts and loot increase can be seen under Awakening but awakening is a little more challenging to upgrade compared to the 2 previous enhancement options. This requires increasing amounts of Captain Awakening Stones that you mainly obtain from the Dragon Dungeon. Awakening levels for each stat have a soft cap and once you have reached the maximum for all stats, you can proceed to the next step.
On the Awakening tab, you can click on the “Try Awakening” button at the top of the page once all 9 stats below it have reached its present cap. There is a short awakening challenge that awaits you comprised of a few waves of enemies and a boss fight at the end. If you succeed, your team will begin to enjoy a huge increase in their ATK and HP. There are really no consequences for failing and you can always make an attempt later on once you have become stronger.
Every Awakening Stage you complete unlocks an Awakening Ability. This feature works much like the Extra Abilities of the heroes in that you consume dice to unlock random passive boosts. Likewise, you can also lock in your favorite S or SS-grade ones so only the ones you want rerolled will be changed.
7. Remember To Take On Adventure Challenges
With Millistar Raiders’ Campaign mode basically being an idle adventure, and a relatively easy one at that, there are game modes designed to consistently test your team of heroes’ current capacity. Beating one unlocks the next level and failing to complete an attempt refunds the ticket you consume for that battle. Devildom Coins, which can be exchanged for a variety of goods at the Devildom Shop are up for grabs so be sure to push as hard as you can to move forward.
The Millistar Ruins plays like a boss rush battle where bosses you typically encounter at the end of each campaign stage will appear one after another. This is where you can randomly pick up personal belongings of each hero that fall within the Lost and Found section of the relics. You can also earn coins here depending on how many monsters you defeat.
The Dragon Dungeon pits you against a huge dragon that reaches new levels with every defeat it experiences. Captain Awakening Stones can be earned here and these resources are among our top picks in the Devildom Shop. Once you start awakening heroes, you would always be wanting to have more of these enhancement resources.
Last, but not the least is the Arena where your team of heroes will be pitted against the team of other adventurers. Millistar Raiders provides a new season each week and rewards are provided to you not just with every arena battle you engage in, but also extra rewards based on your season rank. Opponents are chosen at random with each attempt but you will earn points and rewards regardless of whether you win or not so be sure to expend those arena tickets.
8. Accomplish Missions For Extra Rewards
Millistar Raiders provides very generous instant rewards based on your activity on top of ensuring that resources are earned even if you are idle. Each day, you can claim 700 Millistones from the Pig King Shop up to 3 times. The first one can be claimed instantly but the succeeding ones will require you to play 15 to 30-second video ads.
At the upper right side of the screen as well, you can easily notice a spinning wheel icon. Clicking on it will open the Pig King’s Luck, which is a Wheel of Fortune that can earn you random rewards. There are 3 wheels and 3 free attempts to spin each one. Like the Freebies from the shop, every first spin is absolutely free while the rest will have you play through an ad for each one.
One of the ad campaign perks that may surprise most beginners, in a positive way, is the free daily summons. Millistar Raiders provides a very generous way for players to earn more heroes and gears for free each day. Under the summon menu, you can perform a free 30x summon 3 times each day by playing a short video ad. This applies not just to heroes but to weapons and armors as well. As for skill books, you also get a 5x summon for free 3 times.
10. Consider Different Ways To Progress Idly
Millistar Raiders, after all, is an idle RPG but, again, actively engaging in the numerous adventures and keeping your captain, heroes, and gears at peak performance guarantees a more rapid rate of progression.
