Legend: Rising Empire Available for Pre-Registration, Launches on October 24

The latest simulation and strategy game from NetEase finally has an official release date. Legend: Rising Empire is a medieval-themed city-building game that includes strategy elements. Players arrive in the continent of Favilla as feudal lords. They will then have to gather resources, build up their town, defend from marauders, and expand their territory. The game is now available for pre-registration and will officially be launched in Europe, North America, and Oceania on October 24, 2018.

Legend: Rising Empire starts off with the basics of city building. Players need to construct buildings in their town and let it flourish. There are over 40 building types in the game, giving players plenty of room for expansion. However, progress will be hindered by limited resources as well as the threat of raids from fellow players. Resource management and a good military strategy are necessary ingredients for success.

As players build their army, they will gain access to over eight types of military units. These units include archers, knights, catapults, and more. Players will need to come up with the perfect combination of these units in order to fend off attacks, or even to successfully raid enemy villages. The relationship between the different ranged and melee units can make or break an empire.

Forming mutually beneficial alliances is also a viable tactic. Players can work with each other in order to build their respective empires together. Allies do not just serve as military support in times of war, they also make valuable trade partners. Those who find reliable allies can specialize their town’s production and simply trade for what they need.

Players who want to download Legend: Rising Empire as soon as it becomes available can start pre-registering through the Google Play Store. The iOS version of the game is set to be released on October 26.
