Jurassic World Alive Guide: Tips, Cheats & Tricks to Save the Dinosaurs

Augmented reality has never been this intense! Jurassic World Alive is the simulation game we all wished Pokemon GO was. Available on Android and iOS, this game lets you capture and control dinosaurs as the newest member of the Dinosaur Protection Group or DPG. Your job is to save the dinosaurs from going extinct. The game utilizes location-based technology that allows you to walk around your immediate vicinity to hunt for these magnificent reptiles. You will need to collect DNA samples to level up and create dinosaur hybrids. Since you will be fighting with monolithic creatures, you can expect nothing but epic battles in both your missions and PVP battles. You must prepare by assembling the most powerful dinosaurs possible. If you find yourself struggling to progress in this game, don’t worry. You can always check out our Jurassic World Alive guide for some much-needed help!

1. Quick Response Time Is Crucial

Since Jurassic World Alive utilizes the latest AR technology, you will need a device that can keep up with it in terms of performance. The game’s minimum specifications will allow you to install the game on older devices, but you may experience latency while playing the game. Make sure you install the game on the best device you have to minimize the lag. Quick response times is crucial to landing perfect shots in the game, so your progress will be affected if your device is not up to par.

2. Darts Away

When you are trying to acquire dinosaur DNA, you will be consuming darts. This may make you feel like you need to save your darts as much as you can. While you can get more DNA samples by hitting perfect shots, try not to take too long in aiming just to land those perfects. Don’t be afraid to use up several darts if it means you will be able to get more DNA. Just try to aim as accurately as you can while still throwing fairly quickly. As you progress in the game, it will become easier to collect more darts. Collecting DNA, on the other hand, will not get any easier.

3. You Can Wait For Dinosaurs

One of the biggest challenges in playing any AR game is actually walking around to hunt for things. Your ability to enjoy the game is often limited by traffic, weather, and even your own health. The good news is that you don’t really have to walk far to find dinosaurs in this game. While walking would certainly help you find dinosaurs more quickly, you would still be able to catch them by just waiting. Even if you don’t move at all, a new dinosaur will pop up after about 30 minutes. One thing you would have to walk for, though, is the loot box. These don’t seem to spawn if you are stationary no matter how long you wait.

4. Strengthen Your Dinos

Once you have a good dino on your team, your next task is to strengthen it through evolution and fusion. Evolution makes your dinosaurs stronger, while fusing creates new dinosaurs that are often not available in the wild. You can even create Legendary dinosaurs through fusion if you have the necessary materials. Both processes, however, require a lot of DNA to complete. Make sure you collect as many DNA samples as you can. Aside from the dinosaurs you can also acquire more DNA samples by opening boxes.

Since fused dinosaurs are not found in the wild, you are probably wondering how you will level them up. Don’t worry. You won’t need DNA of the fused dinosaur. You can level them up using DNA from either of the dinosaurs used to create them.

5. How To Win In PVP Mode

Once you have a good team of dinosaurs, you can take on other players in the PVP Arena. Don’t worry because you won’t have to physically look for other players to battle with. You will easily be able to enter matches against anyone from around the world. Winning matches, however, is a different thing altogether.

In order to win, you will need to be strategic. It is not just about having the biggest and toughest dinosaurs in the game, although that definitely helps out a lot. There are a few things you should keep in mind if you want to keep winning in PVP. First off, you should get to know your own dinosaurs. That means reading up on their attacks, strengths, and weaknesses. Knowing which dinosaur to use in the right situations can help you win battles. With that in mind, knowing your enemy’s dinosaurs is equally important. This is where your experience in battles comes in. You need to pay attention to the skills and attacks of other dinosaurs, so you know when to anticipate them.

Timing is also another important aspect of PVP battles. A lot of new players like using their best moves right off the bat, so that makes it a bit easy to predict. Try to hold off on using your best moves and instead anticipate the heavy attack that often comes early in battles. If you can use your best moves at the perfect moment, you will easily be able to turn the battle around.

One final thing you should remember during PVP is to stay calm even if your dinosaur’s health is running low. The last thing you want is to prematurely switch out your dinosaur, giving your opponent a free attack. Weigh the pros and cons before switching out.

6. Open Up Your Free Incubators

The game gives you incubators every few hours. These contain various rewards including Cash, which is the premium currency of the game. It will take a while to open one incubator, and you won’t be able to stack multiple incubators, so you have to make sure you queue them up as soon as they are available. One thing you can do is turn on notifications, so you will know when you have an incubator available. Opening incubators is a great way to earn Cash for free. It may not seem like much at first, but it will eventually pile up if you are diligent.

7. Look For Supply Drops

As we mentioned before, you will be able to find supply drops if you walk around in the real world. These are marked by blue cubes on the map. If you have already opened a supply drop, it will turn grey and will go on cooldown before it can be opened again. Once you open up a cube, make sure you take note of the location then just return the next day to get some more loot.

Supply drops have two types of rewards. The first type will reward you with coins and darts. The second type will reward you with rarer rewards including premium currency. The rewards are completely random, so you won’t know what you will get until you actually open the box. If you agree to watch a video advertisement, you will be able to open up the supply drop twice in one go.

8. Consider Going VIP

If you have the money to spare, and you plan on playing Jurassic World Alive for a long time, then you may want to consider purchasing the monthly VIP option. This will reward you with Cash every day on top of the extra tier of supply drops that you can get. Another benefit of VIP is that you get double the battery life for your drone, allowing you to hunt for dinosaurs longer.
