Hero Forces Tips, Cheats & Strategy Guide for All Game Modes

Bored with the usual run-of-the-mill first-person shooter games? Playcube’s immersive mobile title Hero Forces is a real-time PVP shooting game that redefines FPS and TPS (third-person shooter), as it lets you fight zombies and monsters with a variety of weapons. There’s real-time player vs player action indeed in this game, as you can have a quick game against other human players or co-op with other “real snipers” against hordes of zombies. There’s also campaign and survival mode in here, though the game makes no secret about its main selling point – its social element that’s prominently featured in the first two modes we mentioned. Aside from upgrading weapons, you can even name your favorite gun – maybe give your rifle a girl’s name, as the bullying Sgt. Hartman suggested in Stanley Kubrick’s Full Metal Jacket?

Yes, the customization is fun and the thought of facing other real-life players in PvP action is great fun as well. But just how do you succeed in this game? How can you be a top-rate player regardless of which mode you decide to play? Our extended list of Hero Forces tips and strategies should point you toward the right direction, so let’s get to it, soldier!

1. Have A Solid Combination Of Weapons

Each mission allows you to equip a maximum of two weapons; for example, try pairing an assault rifle for close encounters with a sniper rifle for distant targets. You can switch your loadout weapon at any time to make sure it’s a good complement to what your team members have. This should allow you to take out enemies in close contact or from long range, as well as enemy vehicles you may need to destroy as well.

2. Take A Good Aim And Don’t Rush It

Like in other games of this kind, headshots are the best shots to take. This is especially true when you’re using your sniper rifles, but when trying to line up your aim for a headshot, you may want to take a little more time than usual. Make sure your shot is lined up properly and you’ll be more effective when killing enemies, subsequently increasing your headshot percentage.

3. Unlock More Heroes And Choose Them Well

As you move on in the game, you will be able to unlock different heroes that can go along with your Captain. Which heroes should you go for? It all depends on the strengths of your existing team members. For example, you might want to go for Dolphin, who specializes in the assault rifle, if you’re a sniper. With a complementing team of heroes, you can cover all bases.

4. Upgrade Your Weapons

Your weapons need to be up to snuff once you reach the tougher levels, and the only way you can help them keep up is to upgrade them regularly. Upgrade your weapons to improve their firepower, and if you need more helpful hints in that area, the game has those for you. Campaign missions will display the minimum firepower recommended, which should give you something to go by to determine whether your weapons can hack those missions or not.

5. Take Cover The Smart Way

By tapping on the arrows found on the left and right sides of your device’s screen, you can move from one cover point to another. This is best done when notified that there’s a grenade or RPG coming your way; cover up so you don’t get too affected by the explosion. You can also move between cover points to better deal with enemies who are ducking behind cover points. And whenever you’re not firing your weapon, it’s best to stay behind cover to keep yourself safe from enemy fire.

6. Claim Your Daily Rewards

One good thing about Hero Forces is that the game isn’t skint when it gives out rewards to players. In fact, it’s one of those many games that encourage players to log in daily. The more consecutive days you log in, the more rewards you can earn for yourself, so keep on playing, even if it’s just a few minutes a day. Another thing about this game is that you can play this game for free without having to worry about plunging your real-life money into in-app purchases. If you just keep logging in and completing more missions, you’ll easily be able to get more weapons, upgrades, heroes, coins, gems, and the like.

7. Redeem Those One-Click Rewards Too

Yes indeed, this game is very generous when giving out rewards to players. Once you complete any mission in Campaign Mode with three stars, you’ll be able to utilize the One Click Rewards button. This allows you to use Reward Coupons for coins, experience points, and other goodies for a maximum of 99 times. Make good use of this button whenever it’s available.

8. How To Survive In Survival Mode

When playing in Survival Mode, you’ll be using a rifle with unlimited ammo, whether you like it or not. (You will probably like the unlimited ammo, though.) As your ammunition is endless, you can just leave your finger on the trigger and strafe ever so slowly from left to right so you can accurately hit all the targets. There are also bonus targets that may appear above or behind the regular ones, so keep your eye out for those ones as well.

So what’s the deal with Survival Mode anyway? Well, this is a great way to earn gems, which are the game’s premium currency. You’ll get free gems each third level you complete; that’s ten gems at Level 3, 20 gems at Level 6, 30 gems at Level 9, and so on. Make sure you’ve got your weapons upgraded, and when it comes to spending your gems to revive your character, use them prudently; for example, only use a revive when you’re close to clearing Level 3, 6, etc.

9. Blow Up Those Reviving Opponents

The game’s matchmaking system can pair you against random opponents or teams of two people in PvP. And when in this mode, you can take advantage of your time to heal in the healing area by picking up whatever grenades, RPGs, and other free weapons you may find. Likewise, you can take advantage of your opponent’s healing time to blast them with one of your weapons, or by firing at an oil barrel.
