Greedy Cats: Kitty Clicker is an idle clicker game from New Zealand-based publisher PikPok, that heavily bets on the so-called Kawaii factor. The game, that was released on iOS and Android platforms last month, offers players the chance to immerse themselves into a super cute universe where a legion of adorable kitties is waiting for you.
In Greedy Cats: Kitty Clicker, players step into the shoes of a hungry cat whose one passion in life is to participate in eating contests against other felines. Quite a cat-thing to do isn’t it? Simply tap on the display to get your adorable pet to start eating. The faster you type the better the kitty will be at gulping down copious amounts of food and blast away the competition. On its way to munching superstardom, your furry character will soon be unlocking trophies, attracting fans, and dabbing its paws into fashion.
If you’re feeling in a mood for a casual no-frills game, Greedy Cats: Kitty Clicker might be exactly what you’re looking for. That’s not to say the game doesn’t get competitive, because it does. As you make progress and unlock new dishes that need your ravenous attention, you’ll find that winning competitions becomes exceedingly harder.
Not to worry, because we’re here to help. 1. Turn On The Auto Clicker
The central character in Greedy Cats: Kitty Clicker is the eating kitty, who you get to name at the beginning of the game. The other felines who appear during contests and sit in the back are the “fans”. They will cheer you from the sidelines, while also offering you some help.
What the player needs to do in order to get things rolling is to start tapping on the display to get the cat to eat. Your character should always be pigging out, whether it’s in a competition or between matches, so don’t let it rest. You can tap using more fingers to get the cat to eat faster, but while rewarding at first, you’ll probably grow tired of performing this action quite quickly.
To avoid fatigue or simply growing bored with the game, it’s a good idea to activate the Auto Clicker option every time you begin a playing session. Visit the Cats section by tapping on the first icon in the lower part of the display and scroll down all the way to the bottom. You’ll need to watch an ad to activate the option for a period of 10 minutes.
With the Auto Clicker on, you don’t have to worry about always tapping the display, as it will take over the job from you. Yet, during competitions our recommendation is to join the efforts and tap the display even if the feature is activated, because it helps improve your pet’s munching speed.
As you make your way to the upper stages, overpowering your opponent will become increasingly more difficult, so your champion will need all the help it can get to win.
2. Turn On The Earnings Multiplier
The Earnings Multiplier is another power-up, which you need to turn on as soon as you enter the game. Look for the icon that looks like a stack of Cat coins in the right side of the display and spin the wheel to unlock a multiplier.
Depending on your luck, you can get access to various earnings multipliers that will last for 4 hours. The good news is that you can double that period, if you are OK with watching another quick ad.
While ad watching can hamper your enjoyment of the game, it is a necessary activity in Greedy Cats: Kitty Clicker, if you want to abstain from in-app purchases. Ads allow you to easily obtain several advantages, including attracting more cash to your bank account through the Earnings Multiplier.
You’ll need a lot of cat coins in this game if you wish to advance fast and not linger forever at a difficult stage. So don’t forget, activate the Earnings Multiplier each time you start playing and then extend its effect to last you throughout the day.
3. Always Make Sure To Double Your Rewards
After each successfully completed eating challenge, your cat gets a trophy for its efforts. Collect enough of those and you get to unlock rewards through simply making progress in the game.
Now every time a new reward package gets unlocked, make sure you go for the green “Double your rewards” button, instead of simply going for the “Claim” one. Yes, you’ll have to watch a short ad, but instead of 20 Gems, for example, you’ll get to grab 40.
The same goes for the idle rewards that are waiting for you every time to return from a prolonged break from the game. This being an idle game, it will continue to collect cash for you, even when you’re away and doing your own thing in the real world.
It’s always a good idea to always double your rewards because the truth is, you’ll need to save up as many resources as possible in a short amount of time to be able to expand your eating capacity without taking forever.
4. Upgrade Your Cats To Get An Eating Boost
The chief reason why you need all this money in Greedy Cats: Kitty Clicker is because you have to be able to consistently upgrade your cat cohort, which consists of your main cat and its fans.
The feline who participates in competitions should usually be your main focus, but by no means should you ignore the others. One tap commands the cat to take a bite of food, and it’s possible to increase the size of the bite by upgrading the kitty. Each bite is worth cash, and the bigger the chunk of food ingested the more expensive it is.
Basically each bite of food, produces cat coins. In this manner your overall earnings continue to grow as long as you are tapping the screen (or have the Auto Clicker on).
What about the fans? They also play an important role to play and you should also make sure that you are able to pour steady funds towards improving them. Each fan can help progress your bite size per second. Some can boost the total of coins earned in competitions, while others improve tapping rate and the fans’ contribution to the total bite size.
Once you’ve accumulated a decent amount of cash, you can go ahead and activate the Multi-Buy option so you can perform 10x (and up) upgrades on each of your cats and experience palpable improvements faster.
5. Use Stars To Perform Limit Breaks
Constantly upgrading your cats is an important aspect of playing Greedy Cats: Kitty Clicker. Fans are rated using a star-based system, and the more you work to improve them the more stars get added to the roaster. Once you hit the 200th level, the so called “Limit Break” mode gets activated.
This is a powerful tool that can increase a fan’s bite size contribution to epic proportions by allowing you to continue upgrading them up to level 400 and beyond. To unlock this option, players need to spend Stars, which a resource that appears sporadically throughout the game.
You can get some by collecting trophies after winning challenges and unlocking progress rewards – which you can view by tapping the Trophy icon in the upper left side of the display. Moreover, some of the trees you can plant in the garden might occasionally produce Stars.
6. Play The Dress-Up Game And Improve Stats
Greedy Cats: Kitty Clicker has a strong dress-up component and you’ll need to exploit it as much as possible. The main way of getting access to new fashion accessories is by opening up prize boxes in the Store. You get a free one every few hours. If you want to get access to more, you can use Gems to buy extra ones. Additionally, you can get clothing items by participating in special events, or by planting trees in the garden.
Dressing up your all your pets is important because fashion items help your main cat get better in the eating competitions. For example, the Heart Chopsticks increase tapping speed by x5.00, while Grape Glasses increases all fans’ contribution to overall bite size by x2.00.
Players can also upgrade outfits by combining three separate items of the same tier and category to produce a new article of a higher tier. So for example, if you have 3 two-star tops, you can combine them to create a three-star one, which offers even more benefits. One such piece we obtained from crafting is the Baby Chick Shell Hat that can increase the total of coins earned by x8.5. Make sure you try your hand at different combinations, because they can boost munching capabilities considerably.
As we’ve explained, clothing chests cost precious Gems. You can usually get your hands on more Gems by collecting post-contest trophies or spinning the Prize wheel in the Event section. Additionally, you can win Gems by entering Special events (more on that in the next section) or you can add friends to the game in exchange for 20 Gems/each.
7. Participate In Events Of All Kinds
Events have a large presence in Greedy Cats: Kitty Clicker, so much so that they earned a separate tab in the menu located in the lower part of the display.
Check the Events section frequently to keep an eye on the various opportunities that are available. You’ll be notified when something new is available, as a New red stamp will draw your attention to it.
There are different types of Events in this game, and you should take advantage of what each has to offer.
Daily Missions – these are various quests that when completed will unlock Event currency. For example, playing the game for 20 minutes yields 1 such ticket. This is a resources that can be used to spin the Prize Wheel in the same tab for a chance to win Cat coins, Gems or Donuts. Make sure you don’t forget to grab these rewards daily.
Daily Donuts – This is a recurring event which you can join for free a few times a day. Eat as many donuts as you can in 15 seconds to win Donuts. Then use these desserts to pay for new outfits. If you wish to play the Donut challenge again soon after, you’ll have to pay 50 Gems. Or you could wait for a free session to become available (it takes a few hours).
Special Events – Special events usually span throughout a couple of days and puts a new spin on your cat universe. For example, the Baby Chick Event has an aviary theme. During these events, you’ll have to play as usual to win trophies and unlock various event rewards including outfits, and other resources. Players are supposed to start the whole saga all over again, though. This means that your overall earnings will be reset to 0 and that your main cat and fans start off at level 1. Keep in mind that you can always go back to Main mode by tapping the return button in the Events tab.
If you don’t feel like engaging in Special Events that’s fine, it’s not mandatory to do so. But it’s a very good way to redeem additional items especially clothing, so if you want to give your kitties a wardrobe shake-up, then don’t hesitate to participate. There’s a new Special Event coming your way every couple of days or so.
8. Grab The Achievement Rewards
Need more money to upgrade your cats? Keep an eye on the left corner of the display where the chef cat tracks your progress. It constantly displays mini tasks such as “Eat 10 pieces of food” or “Tap 50 times”. Once you’ve hit this goal, a cash reward gets unlocked.
Don’t hesitate to grab it as soon as you’ve spotted it, so it can begin the count towards the next prize. Collecting achievements is a very easy and productive way of beefing up your cash reserve. So try not to get distracted by other things going on in the game, keep tapping on the green “Claim” button each time its available if you want to accumulate more cat coins.
9. Tap On The Flying Gifts Whenever They Show Up
It serves to be vigilant in Greedy Cats: Kitty Clicker. If you let your attention wonder from the screen, you might miss out on some really nice rewards.
Case in point, keep your eyes open for the flying kittens carrying gifts. Tap on them and watch an ad in exchange for a pretty nice cash prize.
Sometimes, the kitten might be carrying something even sweeter. Gifts might contain special power-ups that improve your main’s cat performance, although these instances are quite rare. There’s four of them and each expires in under one minute.

When you finally spot one the screen, you need to move quickly, because the kittens don’t tend to linger too long on the screen. If you’ve missed one don’t worry, the flying cats appear quite frequently, so another one should be along shortly.
10. Start Growing A Garden
Boost your resource stash by setting up a garden. In the Friends section select the Garden tab. Here you can plan various seeds that will grow to maturity and produce different resources including coins, Gems, outfits and Stars.
To get started, you’ll need to buy seeds from the Garden store. One seed is available for free every few hours or you can spend Gems for rarer or epic seed packages. Alternatively, it’s possible to receive seeds as gifts from friends (if you added some in the game).
11. What To Do If You Can’t Seem To Be Able To Beat Your Opponent?
Having a tough time besting your opponent during a challenge? Here are a few things you could do to improve your odds of success.
The first thing you should try, if you have the Auto Clicker on, is to join in and tap during competition to improve your cat’s eating speed. A lot of the times this tactic will solve your problems. But if it doesn’t, then go on ahead and bestow a round of upgrades on your fans and main cat. Then try again and witness its effects.
If you don’t have the necessary cash to upgrade all members of your team, don’t stress. You can either quit the game, come back later and take advantage of those idle rewards. Or you can upgrade just the main cat or a few fans – the ones towards the bottom are cheaper to improve.
A break from the game can be also beneficial to your gameplay, because upon your return you might find that your opponent’s appetite has weaned. Remember to tap on flying gifts if you spot one, maybe you’ll stumble upon a power-up and its effect will most likely instantly solve your woes. Either way, keep trying and you’ll eventually succeed.
