For all the fans of the series Futurama, this game is the ultimate treat. Available on iOS and Android mobile platforms, Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow puts you in charge of building and maintaining your very own New New York. The game is part action RPG and part city building game. It’s quite the interesting mix. Balancing both aspects of the game, however, can be a daunting task. Make sure you check out our Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow strategy guide for some help on how to build the perfect city.
1. Use The Planet Express Ship’s Fuel
As you fly through the missions on various planets you will be spending the Planet express ship’s fuel. You will have to choose your crew before you set off for a mission. You will not be able to bring a character in a mission if they are currently doing a task so keep that in mind before starting. This is something that can really mess up your schedule if you don’t plan ahead since some of the tasks take up to two hours. It will be more efficient if you use all of the fuel first. This way you will have a bigger crew. The bigger the crew is, the better the chance of you winning the battles.
2. Master Your Timing
In a battle, timing is very important. You can deal a lot more damage with critical hits, and if you are really good at this, you can also reduce the damage taken with perfectly timed taps. You will learn all about these things in the tutorial so pay attention. One good trick here is to make a habit of keeping an eye on both sides of the screen. You won’t be able to tell which has the turn next so you never know when you will make a critical hit unless you’re vigilant. It is better to be prepared for it. You won’t be caught off guard when you need to make a critical hit or suddenly guard.
3. Finish Off The Hypnowaves
The Robo 1-X workers are the cleaners and builders here. When you start the game, you will only have one robo. He will be your entire construction queue. Once you are able to control him, start by sending him to clear out the hypnowaves that are covering New New York. Do this often, especially when you don’t have anything to build. Start clearing up space because you will be needing it a lot. Crucial story events will also unlock when you clear out certain areas.
4. Don’t Leave Your Crew Idle
If you don’t have any plans of doing missions, try to have your characters work on something else. Make them do all kinds of stuff to further your growth in the game. They can generate a lot of things like experience, money, and even items that unlock certain characters in the game. The good thing about this is that most of the characters have the same wait time so once they are done, you can either resend them all or do some missions. This will make your job a lot easier. Also, you will want to utilize the correct career ships. Levelling up the Planet Express crew will increase their overall combat power and unlock new actions available for them to use. You can use generic ships to level them up. One last tip is you must match the color of the ship to the color of your character for bonus experience
