1. Keep The Particles In Line
The particles will flow as they want, loosely following your guidance. You can expect to see them stray from the correct path. You can intercept these runaway souls by quickly swiping on the screen to create a wall. This will help keep particles from flowing outward, allowing you to continue guiding them towards the planet.
The yellow beam of light can also be used to block the paths of particles. Just place them where particles may stray in order to create solid blocks. Just be careful when you swipe around these yellow streams. If you swipe at an established stream, it will dissipate and all the particles that have been blocked will break loose.
2. Use Holding Pens
On some levels, you will see C-shaped holding pens. If you guide your particles inside these shapes, they will start to move faster and thicken. Swirl your particles inside these holding pens a few times in order for them to gain more energy. You will notice that they will sustain this energy once you guide them out the shapes. Use this extra energy to quickly guide them towards the planets, and finish the level.
3. Know When To Reset
The particles continue to flow as you go through each level. They are designed to bounce off one another as well. That is why if you accidentally agitate them too much, it will be nearly impossible to get things back in control. When this happens, it may be better to just start over instead of trying to regain control of the rogue particles. Keep in mind that if you just accidentally created a path where you shouldn’t have, you can just tap on the screen to remove the path. Know when to correct your mistake, and when to start over.
4. Turn Up The Volume
The sounds in Frost are not just for ambience. They will actually help guide you in solving each level. You will be able to hear how your moves impact the particles, allowing you to adjust if necessary. You will also hear a different sound that will inform you if there are new elements coming. Listen carefully in order to have an idea on what to do next. Aside from using the sounds as a guide, they also add to the immersive experience of the game.
5. Learn To Unplug
