Dragonstone: Kingdoms Beginner’s Guide: 5 Tips & Tricks You Need to Know

Dragonstone: Kingdoms is a unique blend of base management and RPG that will keep you busy for hours on end. Ember Entertainment’s new mobile game revolves around building your own kingdom. In this game you have to construct buildings, defend your territory, fight monsters, recruit heroes, and obliterate bosses in order to create the ultimate empire. Of course, you can’t do all that without resources. You can produce resources over time, but the quicker way is to just raid other kingdoms for what you need. Test your skills against some of the best players from around the world, conquer their bases, and steal everything they have. It takes more than just power if you want to succeed in this game. You have to be strategic or you will end up grinding endlessly with little progress. That is why you should check out our Dragonstone: Kingdoms tips and tricks for important pointers!

1. Work On Your City Quests

One of the most important tasks that you have in this game is to keep your kingdom updated. That means you need to make sure all necessary structures are built and upgraded. With that said, it is not always easy to know what your next step should be. That is where City Quests come in. These are basically the main quests of the game, and they are designed to guide you in building up your kingdom. You will receive rewards for completing quests, so you will somehow be getting back some of the resources you spent.

Keep in mind, however, that the rewards you receive will not be enough to cover all your resource needs. That means you will end up running out of resources if you only work on City Quests. Make sure that you take time to do other things as well. Go out and raid from time to time in order to ensure you do not run too low on resources.

2. Don’t Forget Upkeep And Guild Quests

These two types of quests do not involve meeting certain goals or performing any tasks. You just need to queue them up, wait for a timer, then collect rewards. With that said, there is no excuse for you not to get them done since you practically just have to remember that they exist. Upkeep quests are immediately available, although they have minimal rewards. You will soon realize how much these small rewards can help you in the long run, so make sure you always activate these quests when you can.

As you probably already guessed, Guild quests will not be available until you join a guild. Once you join a guild, you just need to activate them the same way as you would do the Upkeep quests. When the timer is done, just go back and claim your rewards. Make it a habit to queue up these quests before logging off for the day.

3. Look For An Active Guild

It is important for you to join a Guild as soon as you can. Aside from gaining access to Guild quests, you will also be able to get help from your guildmates. This is why it is crucial that you find an active Guild. Your guildmates can help you in speeding up construction in your kingdom. Since in later stages, construction can take a long time, every second you save can make a huge difference. You can also ask for backup from your guildmates if you get attacked. If you don’t have a lot of active guildmates, you won’t be able to maximize the benefits, so don’t hesitate to transfer to a different guild if you need to.

4. Never Leave Your Kingdom Idle

As we mentioned above, construction can take hours as you progress in this game. That means you cannot afford to waste time sitting idle. Always keep your kingdom busy. Check every building to see if there are any available upgrades, constructions, or research that can be done. If you are low on resources, try to go on a couple of raids, so that you can still queue something up before you log off for the day.

5. Craft Better Equipment

Levelling up is important, but if you want to get stronger, the secret is in the equipment your heroes use. There are three slots available for equipment. There is one slot for a weapon, another for armor, and the last is for a pet. You need to find the best possible gear for each of these slots in order to make your heroes stronger.

There is more than one way for you to acquire better equipment in this game. The first one is by playing through the story mode. An alternate way is to craft them yourself through the Blacksmith. Of course, it is better if you make your own equipment, so you have control over what you will use. Crafting requires blueprints and blueprint pieces. These are dropped by monsters in the world, not from monsters in story mode. Since you will be needing drops from world monsters, make it a habit to send out your troops to hunt down monsters and collect materials for you.

Do you have what it takes to conquer the world of Dragonstone: Kingdoms? If you follow the tips and tricks listed above, you will definitely make it to the top!
