Bandai Namco Entertainment has just announced that the company will be bringing Digimon ReArise to North America and Europe this coming October. The game was initially launched in Japan last year and was met with highly positive reviews.
Digimon ReArise starts out with Pusurimon, a digital monster who lives inside the player’s smartphone as a virtual pet. Strange things start happening and the main character finds himself under attack. In his desire to protect his master, Pusurimon transforms into Herissmon, jumps out of the smartphone, and takes on the attackers.
Battles in Digimon ReArise are fought with up to five Digimon on the player’s team. Players can choose to actively participate in real-time battles or sit back and let the Auto function do the work. There are also Clash Battles where multiple players can work together in order to subdue a powerful Digimon.

No Digimon game is complete without the power of friendship. Players must train their favorite Digimon, complete their requests, and strengthen their bonds in order to get them to Digivolve. The higher the evolution, the more powerful the Digimon become.
Digimon ReArise is set to be released on October 21 based on the current App Store listing. The release date may still change unless Bandai makes it official. Until then, you can pre-register for the game through the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
