1. Master The Controls

There is no room for error in Destiny Warfare. Don’t expect your enemies to hold their fire just because you seem to be struggling with controlling your character. In fact, they will fully enjoy shooting at you while you are grappling with rotating your camera angles. This is the number one reason why you should master the controls before you think of going up against other players.

On the left side of your screen is a joystick that lets you move forward and back, as well as strafe from side to side. If you want to look around, you will need to tap, hold, and drag on the screen. This is something you will be doing a lot since you never know when an opponent is lurking around. Practice looking around while moving until you are used to surveying your surroundings.

One more control you should master is aiming. When you tap on the sight button on the right side of the screen, you will switch to aim mode. In this mode, you will be able to get a better view of your opponents. It does, however, leave you exposed. This is your sniping mode, so make sure you are at a safe vantage point before you start looking for targets.

2. Get Yourself Geared Up

When you look at the bottom of your screen, you will see a gun icon. Tap and hold on it to access the weapon selector menu. Flicking upwards on this menu will allow you to switch to a different weapon. Characters in the game normally carry a secondary weapon. These weapons are useful for managing your bullets as well as switching up your combat style. For example, the Pistol is one of the lightest weapons around. While it does not deal a lot of damage, it gives you a 5% increase in running speed. This added speed allows you to quickly maneuver into a better position before switching back to your primary weapon.

Each player can have up to a maximum of four gadgets during battle. Gadgets are items that can help you during battle such as grenades and mines. To access your gadgets, tap on the icon above your jump button. This is the gadget section. Simply tap on the specific gadget you want to use. Tap a grenade to throw it at your opponent, especially if they are hiding behind an obstacle and you can’t hit them with bullets. Try to place mines near respawn areas as well. This can help you take out unsuspecting opponents who have just spawned.

3. Find A Better Vantage Point

If you are used to playing shooter games, you will know that high ground gives you plenty of advantage. Since this game gives you access to jetpacks and lower gravity, use that to your advantage. Find yourself a good nest to snipe from. There are several locations that are perfect for sniping in this game. Look for tall buildings, terraces, towers, and other structures that will provide you some cover while allowing you to shoot at your opponents below. Keep in mind, however, that this tactic is just as accessible to your opponents. Be careful when jumping up a building because someone else may be waiting for you. Try to beat everyone else to the sniping spots to help ensure your survival.

4. Wreak Havoc With Tanks

In Destiny Warfare certain maps, such as the Favela and the Arctic Team Deathmatch, have two tanks that can be used by players. If you are playing in these modes, make sure you scramble to take control of the tanks as soon as you can. Tanks cannot be taken down by most weapons. In fact, you usually need a grenade or a grenade launcher in order to damage a tank. With that said, make sure your tank is loaded up before you try to go on a rampage. You need to equip tanks with projectiles in order to shoot.

Don’t worry if you don’t have any more ammo on your tank, though. Since they are still mobile fortresses even without the ability to shoot, you can use them to transport your character to a safer location. If you are low on health, jump into the tank and ask your teammates to cover while you retreat to a hideout.

5. Don’t Forget Your Upgrades

There are several attributes that you can upgrade on your weapons. These include Damage, Ammunition, and Reload Speed. To upgrade these, you will need Upgrade Points. Every 5 Upgrade Points will cost you 25 gold. Since you cannot afford to upgrade everything fully, make sure you spend your points wisely. Take time to read weapon descriptions to figure out which attributes are most important. You should also consider your own play style when choosing an upgrade to invest in. For example, if you tend to struggle with bullet management, you might want to invest a little in ammunition.

Aside from upgrading weapons, you should also upgrade your class stats. To do this, just head into the Equipment menu then tap on your class name. You can allocate points on different attributes to strengthen your character. Again, invest in attributes that work well with your play style. If you like running around your opponents before executing them, invest some points in Movement. If you want to be able to take a few hits, upgrade your Armor. Learn the different attributes and customize the upgrades according to your needs.

6. Before You Enter The Arena

Of course, the whole point of Destiny Warfare is facing off against other players. Before you jump into the arena, however, make sure you are fully prepared. Ensure that your Rate of Fire, Reload Speed, and Damage are all upgraded. Rate of Fire will increase your shots per minute, helping you dish out damage more quickly. Reload Speed reduces the down time in between magazine clips.

Remember, one second is all it takes for your opponent to blow your brains out. Minimizing the time when you are defenseless helps you survive battles. Lastly, Damage is pretty self-explanatory. The higher your damage is, the quicker you can kill your enemies. These are key attributes that you need to focus on if you are fighting against other players.

Another thing you should consider is the use of auto-shoot. This is a feature added by the game to help make it easier to fight on a mobile platform. The benefit of this feature is that your character will automatically fire at any enemy that you aim at. The down side is that you cannot control the number of bullets you use. The second you run out of bullets, you are as good as dead. This is why you should have higher damage. Auto shoot will stop once the target is dead. Killing your enemy with fewer bullets lowers the chances of running out of ammo.

7. Unlock A New Class

There are four different classes in Destiny Warfare. The first one is the Recruit, and as the name suggests, this is the starter class. This is the only class you can use until you unlock the other ones. Each new class will cost you a whopping 950 gold, so choose wisely. If you were able to pre-register for the game, you should have received 400 gold, cutting the amount you need to save by half. Otherwise, you will need to get more gold by leveling up or by opening crates. You won’t get a lot of gold easily, so don’t squander any of it on weapons. You should also carefully consider which class you will unlock first because it will be a long while before you can unlock another one. We have listed the three other classes below to help you make a decision.

Tank – This class is stacked with armor. If you are looking for survivability, this guy has it all. Of course, all that heavy armor comes at a price. You will move a lot slower, making you an easy target. Hopefully, you will be able to blow your opponents away before they can leave a dent on your armor. The class has a 75% added protection from headshot damage and a 10% experience and credits bonus at the end of each match. Don’t forget to equip him with a machine gun as well since he has a 50% damage bonus when equipped with this weapon.

Medic – As the support, you will have to be quick on your feet in order to aid your teammates in time. You will also need to survive if you are to have any hopes of helping anyone. Luckily, the game gives you 2 medkits and 2 clips in battle. You also get a 50% damage bonus when equipped with a submachine gun. Finally, you also get a 50% bonus protection from headshot damage.

Killer – This is the DPS class. She has the fastest jetpack recharge and the best fashion sense. Slap a sniper rifle on this class so she can deal 50% more damage. She also has radar invisibility, making it difficult for opponents to figure out where she is. Stay hidden and snipe away. If you get caught, use your boosted movement speed to run away!

8. How To Get More Gold

As we mentioned earlier, gold can be very difficult to acquire in this game. Make sure you take advantage of every opportunity to get more gold. One such opportunity is the Daily Bonus. Simply log in every day to claim your rewards. The rewards vary but they sometimes include Gold, so make it a habit to log in daily, even if it is just to claim your reward. You should also keep an eye out for the Get Reward X2 button that indicates you will receive double prizes on specific days.

If you are still short on gold, you can also get some more by opening chests. You can open a free chest by watching a video advertisement. There is a short cooldown time before you can watch another ad, but it is worth the wait. Just keep watching ads until you have enough gold to unlock a new class. Finally, another way to get more gold is to level up. Every time you level up, you will receive various rewards, including gold and some rare weapons.

9. Stick With Your Teammates

A good way to get yourself killed quickly is to wander away from your teammates. Make sure you stay with them even as much as you can. Going solo will only leave your vulnerable to ambushes. You also will have a tougher time surviving if you suddenly run into an entire enemy team. If you choose to snipe from afar, make sure you still keep an eye on your teammates and provide support fire when needed. Your vantage point is meant to help everyone on the team, not just yourself.

10. Try The Different Game Modes

There are several game modes available in Destiny Warfare. Not all of them are accessible in the beginning. You need to reach level 10 to be able to play all the game modes. Once you hit level 10, take time to try out the different game modes. You can also create custom games to practice and have fun with your friends, but you won’t gain experience or credits. We have listed down the different game modes below, so you can have a better idea of how each one is played.

Team Deathmatch – In this mode, two teams will battle it out and keep killing each other until the end of the match. The team with more kills by the end wins the game.

Deathmatch – This is the solo mode. The goal is to just keep killing everyone you see until the end of the match. The one with the most kills wins.

Hardcore Mode – If you are looking for a challenge, try this mode. Damage dealt and received is higher in this mode compared to the others. Only the strongest will survive.

Duel – If you want to prove who the better player is, this is the way to go. This mode lets you play against a single player and the two of you will have the entire map to yourselves. Keep killing each other and the one with the most kills when the time is up wins the match.

Launcher Mode – This is probably one of the crazier modes since you can only use grenade launchers. Base Defense will have you destroy the enemy base while protecting your own.

It is time to test your skills in Destiny Warfare! Don’t forget any of the tips and tricks listed above if you want to win all your matches!
