Supercell has released a new update for Clash of Clans this spring. The update focuses on enhancing players’ engagement by changing the in-game economy and improving the overall gaming experience.
The new Clash of Clans update reduces the downtime between battles, considerably reducing the time players have to wait for tasks to finish. But the most noticeable change is Season Challenges. Similar to Clan Games, Season Challenges functions taking into account the individual participation rate. In simple terms, you will have to reach specific individual milestones. Each new season starts on the first day of the month and ends on the last day of the month.
There are two types of challenges: daily challenges that will refresh every day and monthly challenges that unlock every week. In the lower part of your screen, you will see the new Season Challenges button that you will need to tap in order to have access to the complete list of challenges. Ranging from collecting resources to upgrades or deploying troops, completing these challenges will win you valuable points that you can use to unlock tiers. There will be 2 tiers: Silver and Gold. The Silver one is available for free and will win you magic items, resources, or access to the Season Bank.
A new feature, the Season Bank is a resources storage option that is exclusive to Season Challenges. After performing an attack, an equal amount of the resources you loot is added to your Season Bank. When the season ends, you can use the silver tier to collect up to 50,000 dark elixir and 5 million gold.
The Gold tier is a premium features and costs $4.99. By accessing it, you will have the possibility to win the full Season Bank (250,000 dark elixir and 25 million gold), one-gem donations, and special boosts for the training/building costs and times. You will also be able to unlock exclusive monthly Hero skins.
